“It has been almost thirty years since I've been to Albertios. I found this location by total accident. Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it. “This is my go to spot whenever I am in the area. I always get a carnitas (mixto) burrito which is: mazisa, cuerito and buche. It is amazing!!! My wife loves the chile relleno burrito, especially because they clean it out completely (remove all of the seeds) prior to stuffing it. There's nothing fancy about this place or the surrounding area but with the flavor levels being off of the charts it's worth a try if you're in the mood for carnitas. They also have other guisados like: chile Verde, chile colorado, costillas con chile verde just to name a few. This is truly a Mexican Soul food spot and they have Mexican sodas. Dining in is standing at the counter like in some taquerias. No seating available. Parking can be challenging but it always works out.“

“I call in my order to this place at least once a week. I've tried so many items and everything is good. I'm currently hooked on their super tostada salad with shredded beef and I add extra rice with everything on it. I also get there tacos special for my husband and son. I've been going to this place for well over 4 years. It has never failed me. Service is quick and you get so much food for a great price. Come prepared to not finish your food. It's a lot. Lol but in a good way.
