Hannah and the entire crew at Amarith Farmhouse Cafe are nothing short of amazing. I was scrambling last minute to find a Thanksgiving dinner for our church staff, and even though they were technically closed, they stepped in without hesitation to help meet the need.

Not only did they say yes, they made sure everything was prepared with care and personally delivered, ensuring our church team could sit down together and enjoy a true Thanksgiving meal. That kind of generosity, heart, and professionalism is rare.

The food was wonderful, the service was exceptional, and the kindness shown meant more than words can say. Amarith Farmhouse Cafe has earned my trust for life and will be my number one choice whenever I’m looking for a caterer.

The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. “I finally tried Thai Del Mar tonight after passing by several times, and I’m really glad I did. It’s literally next door to Johnny Pizza, so it’s easy to find.

The food was way better than Bamboo Bistro, which is supposed to be popular but honestly wasn’t enjoyable to me at all.

I ordered the Pad Thai and egg rolls, and both were really good flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I was actually happy while eating, which says a lot.

The service really stood out as well. Patrick helped me, and he was very kind, soft-spoken, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

They mentioned they have fried banana for dessert, so I’m planning on coming back tomorrow to try that. Overall, I’m really happy I gave this place a chance and will definitely be returning.”

“Great little restaurant , order the tradition egg roles to start comes with 5 fried rolls you wrap them in lettuce with some basil carrot shreds and cucumber and thin dip in a sauce that makes it a fresh crunchy tasty bite. Had the seafood soup comes in a little hot plate with side of noodles and you laddie it in a bowl. Yummy. Other hot item is the Thai Green ice tea. Yum”

“The summer house is a general go to for American food. The prices are on the high side for the food you get. We generally go here for a quick meal. The server we got tonight is little hard on hospitality and same experience we had before from him. I think he has been there a while and regulars get better service and not so short with service at there tables from.what we noticed.”

I ordered a lunch special pepperoni pizza with a Caesar salad and a drink. When I picked up my order, I realized it wasn’t correct — I received a cheese pizza, no salad, but a box of jalapeños instead.

I called Gina’s Pizza to let them know, and Giovanni helped me right away. He was incredibly kind, professional, and understanding. He refunded me without any hassle and told me that next time I come in, to let him know and they’ll take care of me.

Mistakes happen, but great customer service makes all the difference. Giovanni’s attitude and willingness to fix the issue really stood out to me. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and respectful he was.

“Rich and his team were amazing, especially Rich and Claudio. This place is always busy in the morning, and Rich is focused on helping his team, keeping things moving and dealing with customers. In our case, the first bagel Claudio made for us was soooo good, we had to have another. We love this place. We come here every year in March. Bruegger’s is our breakfast jam🤪”

“Went to Bandera on my birthday which was March 15 ,2024 and I had the Filet Minion with broccoli and mash potatoes, Also a glass of refreshing white champagne. Then for dessert I had a delicious chocolate dessert, with whip cream and a leaf mint on it . Tasted like it had a little alcohol in it . Our waiter was very nice , sweet , always asking if our meal was good and how everything is going. I forgot the waiters name but he’s very tall , about 6’6 .”

“This CDM location is very very small. I’ve been a few times and usually there is only one employee working. If you go, have patience, if you’re waiting because these employees are very accommodating and will get your sandwich/order correct and they make them really well.
This is not the best for dining in. Its super small”

Everything here feels clean, fresh, and nourishing, yet the portions are so generous that one order could easily be a meal replacement. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel good about what you’re putting into your body.

I love their bowls—they’re colorful, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The nut balls are a go-to snack for me, and their side options are thoughtful and just as satisfying as the mains. The portions are so big that splitting a large is easy, which makes it perfect for sharing with the kids. What makes it even better is how much my kids enjoy it too, which is rare when it comes to healthy spots.

The people working here add to the experience. They’re friendly and welcoming, always making sure you feel taken care of. Every time I leave, I feel both full and energized, which is exactly how healthy food should be.
