If you visit, be sure to look out for Felix; he is one of the most exceptional servers you can encounter. “We've enjoyed many meals over the last year and always happily return for more. The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. The capable service staff is eager to please and every dish is thoughtfully prepared/presented. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. A bonus for us as Guide Dog puppy raisers is they're dog friendly.”

“i'm from LA and have been SEARCHING for a gelato shop that makes it the authentic italian way, with no artificial dyes/flavors and the correct texture. i stumbled across this place while in newport with my family and knew i had to try it immediately when i saw the way the gelato is stored (in the steel tins, as opposed to giant mountains like most places in the US). definitely not disappointed. the flavors were done perfectly and not overly sweet, and you could so tell it was natural. i honestly think it's worth the 2 hour drive from LA to come back here🤣 please open a second location”

““My friend and I had a lovely time on Sunday evening at Bangalow to rewind and enjoy last few hours of the weekend. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive, friendly and polite. I especially enjoyed the wine that was suggested by our server. The only thing that made the evening feel a bit rushed was that every thing came on a fast pace, my bill arrived before I had chance to finished my dessert without asking, which made us feel like we should leave sooner than we wanted to. We started 7 and was out by 8 or 8:15 that I think is a bit too fast for a Sunday evening dinner.

“Went to Bandera on my birthday which was March 15 ,2024 and I had the Filet Minion with broccoli and mash potatoes, Also a glass of refreshing white champagne. Then for dessert I had a delicious chocolate dessert, with whip cream and a leaf mint on it . Tasted like it had a little alcohol in it . Our waiter was very nice , sweet , always asking if our meal was good and how everything is going. I forgot the waiters name but he’s very tall , about 6’6 .”

“This charming restaurant has some of the best Indian food my wife and I have ever had (we have eaten more than once at well over a half dozen high end Indian restaurants in London and at a number in New York and elsewhere in the US). We especially enjoyed the mulligitawny soup (with chicken)and the chicken tikka masala and the naan was excellent. We appreciated the lack of blaring rock music and the fact that, when we asked for our dishes mild, that is exactly what we got.”

“We came here twice in one week...once for lunch and once for breakfast, and we were thrilled with our food, service, and price.The first day we had the Jetty Burger and the Tuna Melt. One of us had the homemade chips as a side, and the other the potato salad...YUMMY! This morning we had the breakfast burrito with bacon, and the Breakfast Burger with bacon. Both were the bomb!”

“We went to the Golden Spoon location on PCH in CDM with our visiting Boston grandkids. They very much, as I did, appreciated the smiles they got and the attentive and friendly customer service from the young woman and young man behind the counter.”

“This CDM location is very very small. I’ve been a few times and usually there is only one employee working. If you go, have patience, if you’re waiting because these employees are very accommodating and will get your sandwich/order correct and they make them really well.
This is not the best for dining in. Its super small”

“I know this is a pizza place but their chicken nuggets are sooo good tooo! I have friends who love the pizza and one of my friends are gluten free are able to especially enjoy it because they can make a pizza with gluten free crust and he never gotten a bad reaction from it. The people at the cashier are also very friendly and are very knowledgeable about what is good on the menu. Overall great experience!”

“Love that they have vegan cookies and other options for allergies that you don't often have a cookie shop. The cookies are very soft, almost under baked. They are also large enough to share. The service was fantastic and they were very kind.”

“This is a tiny coastal gem with incredible food and friendly service. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the vibe was super relaxed. It gets pretty busy in this Gina's pizza but our young server was super attentive. You can take out food, which they will serve you from the side window. Easy parking. Great spot.”
