“The place is pretty spacious with a nice, slightly fancy, and clean vibe. Lots of staff and good service. Prices aren’t too bad either. I can’t remember the name of this roll, but it was super tasty! If you come here, don’t miss it. It’s seriously good!“

“I came to this plaza today because I had to take a class over the weekend here and I'm happy I was stumbled upon this pretty sweet Thai spot. The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

“First timer to Basil Thai and it was quite good. The location is a small place with a dozen tables and at 5pm on a Thursday, not busy. The anchor store for this shopping center was obviously T.J.
Service was fast, english was spoken clearly at my table with I guess Thai (?) spoken behind the counter. I had Chicken Basil Thai Fried Noodle plate and Tom Yum Noodle Bowl. I could not finish it all which is a good thing for takeaway. Both have a light spicy foundation that was not overwhelming and sufficient for lighter Thai palates. As a local customer, I will return.“

“We love Thai fix! We have been coming here for years. We moved to the other side of HB about 2 years ago but we drive over to grab Thai Fix about 1-2 times a month. I love their Pad Tai with chicken, Green Curry and my husband loves the Pad See Ew. We would recommend you try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Delish and great staff. The staff IS family and they treat not only their customers like family, but the other staff as well. That means a lot. We had a fun time with DJ and Pleng. About the food... We had 4 dishes... Hanuman's ceviche, Tom Kha Gai, Massaman, Pad See Ew and a nice glass of Malbec. My favorites were the ceviche and Massaman. But everything was so good. Hubs liked everything. There was literally no wait at 3 pm but come soon... Once word gets out this place will have a 45 min wait just like the mother location on Bristol.“

“I absolutely love their sticky rice with coconut sauce and mangoes. There aren't many restaurants around here that they offer this dish and even fewer restaurants that make it delicious, so I love coming to Kanok because theirs is always yummy.
Although I have noticed when ordering take out, I have to remind them to put the coconut sauce in it because on a few occasions they've forgotten it. That’s what makes the dish so good. Also, on a couple rare occasions their mangoes have not been fresh, but that’s rare, and it’s a seasonal dish.
Luckily I always keep a couple of fresh mangoes at home so whenever that happens I just cut my own. I know you are paying $12-$14 for a small serving, and they should make sure it's all fresh and everything is there, but we're all human and therefore imperfect by default!
Also their crunchy fried garden spring rolls are supper yummy, as are the Crab Rangoon’s. I don't usually like garden spring rolls but their garden rolls are simply delicious!!“

“Small, quaint Thai restaurant. Because the restaurant is small, they have limited seating. I was able to get a table quickly because it was after the dinner rush hour. Service was quick, and friendly. They have a good selection of traditional Thai dishes. Prices are high, probably because of location. I ordered Penang Curry with chicken. I requested additional vegetables, and was accommodated with a small up charge. The price for the dish was 20,00 and with the upcharge came to 23.00 It was served on a plate as opposed to a bowl, which I'm used to at most Thai restaurants. It was nicely presented, and came with jasmine rice, however, I could tell right away, it didn't have enough curry sauce for my liking. I ended up asking for more sauce because there just wasn't enough. It was also on the thin side. One way they can improve the dish is by serving it in a nice size bowl, and giving more sauce. I also think the the sauce could be a tad thicker. Making these adjustments would make the dish much better. Their sauce is very good, though the dish needs double or more of the curry sauce than it currently comes with. I also ordered desert, an inexpensive pudding. 3.00 and it was delicious. With tax and tip, my bill was just over 34.00 Street or lot parking can be difficult during busy times.“

“We enjoyed the small hole in the wall atmosphere and all 10 of us found the dishes to be quite good! prices were around $10-15 but portion sizes varied a lot. i found my spicy noodle sizing to be a bit small for $13.
restroom was also in the rear of the building so you had to walk around back which felt unsafe at night and weird to be in the kitchen. also restroom had a very strong scent“

“I have been going to Thai Pepper for decades now. There food is always just spot on and the lunch special of $9.95 is a great deal. You get an entree in which I always get The Mint Leaves Chicken, fried rice, two fried wontons and a salad. My only suggestion would be to put the salad in a separate little box so it does not get hot next to the hot food. Other than that the food is excellent and great prices. You can get it mild to very hot on the spice! I stick with mild and my friend always gets the level 10 hot, hot, 🔥🥵 HOT. I would die, but different strokes for different folks.👍🤤🎉“

“If you’re in the mood for authentic Thai flavors in Irvine, Thai Kitchen is a must-visit. The ambiance is cozy, and the service is friendly and attentive. We tried the Tom Yum Soup, which was perfectly tangy and packed with rich, aromatic flavors. The Basil Fried Rice was a highlight—fluffy, fragrant, and full of savory goodness, with just the right amount of heat. Good options for vegetarians.
For dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice was a sweet, refreshing finish to the meal, with perfectly ripe mango and creamy coconut milk. The portions are generous, and the overall experience was both satisfying and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for a flavorful Thai dining experience!“

“Wonderful experience! There's something for everyone. My coworkers and I stop here every year after working the Chamber of Laguna Beach Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms, and are never disappointed. I am severely allergic to wheat, and the staff is always knowledgeable and accommodating, helping me find a delicious dish. We got some tofu spring rolls, and the staff brought us a special sauce so I could enjoy them, too. Pad thai was delicious, Thai tea was out of this world, and we always enjoy unwinding after the madness in their calm, relaxing atmosphere.“

“As a huge fan of Thai cuisine, I’ve found that it tends to be either absolutely excellent or a total miss .I’ve passed by Thai Café many times and finally gave it a try. The interior is simple and cozy. We ordered catfish, shrimp fried rice, and shrimp Pad Thai. The catfish was outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Pad Thai and fried rice were just okay. Portion sizes were generous, and the staff was kind. While the dining area was quiet, there were plenty of delivery orders going out. I’d come back just for the catfish!“

“This is one of my favorite local spots. I go there a few times a week, and they always deliver great food and friendly service.
The chorizo and avocado breakfast burrito is my favorite—it’s flavorful and really well-made. They’re also pretty quick, which is great when you’re short on time.
I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area.“

“My husband and I came in on a Wednesday around 1pm to avoid the lunch rush. We ordered the original hainan chicken, hat yai chicken, and popcorn chicken. Order came out within 10 minutes. Everything was delicious, definitely enjoyed it best with the KMG sauce and the habanero which had a nice kick. The popcorn chicken was surprisingly very flavorful in the best way. It’s a unique flavor and unlike other popcorn chickens I’ve had. It tasted good with and without the sauce it came with and will definitely be something I’d crave and come back for. 11/10 :)“

“I Love George's food. His Pad Thai is awesome. The Drunken Noodles are also delicious. His location is inside a "Ghost Kitchen" facility called "Smart Kitchens". It's a hidden gem. He used to have a brick and mortar location on bristol street, before the pandemic started.Customer beware. Its all takeout at this location. You can find this food on most popular 3rd party delivery apps. You can do pickup via his website too. Thats where he shines the most.If you go into the "ghost kitchen" as a walk-in order, you can place orders via the KIOSK inside. Wait times may vary during peak hours. I hope this information is helpful to the readers that took the time to read this comment.“

“this is my favorite place to get thai food...
i got the pad see ew with chicken for $10.95... weighed about ~20oz... pad see ew is my favorite thai dish... i always get it... it's good, especially for the price... it has noodles, chinese broccoli, chicken, and egg...
i also tried the thai style omelette for $8.95... weighed about ~14 oz... t's just some rice topped with a fried egg... the egg is fluffy and salted to taste very good... but for ~$9, it is a bit overpriced...
overall, this place is cheaper than other thai places, but for $10 per pound of food, it is still pretty expensive...“

“Small, not super fancy, but very nice place. Good food for a fair price. Thai ribs were good (interesting and not usual flavor). We were treated in a very polite and friendly manner. Thank you!
PS. With some traditional music in the background would be even better. :)“
