“Manager last night gave us a free dessert. Filet Mignon tacos were on special & they were delish, but skimpy on a small Nike size dallop of avocado mouse? Drinks were pricey but good-couldn't really taste the alcohol in my Pinapple margarita for $17?? Food variety was good, salsa was good. Waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about menu items when asked, but manager brought alot of food & seemed to hustle along with staff. He was wearing a brownish dress shirt-didn't catch his name? He made sure to make my filet tacos a bit more cooked. I would return. I like that he made our 1st visit enjoyable!“

“The service was out of this world. We called ahead to have our food ready. Since we only have one hour lunch. The food was ready at our table and chips and salsa. Me and my pharmacist were speechless and felt very special for that service. I will be going there every time I’m in Corona.“

“One of Corona's older Mexican restaurants serving excellent food, burritos, tacos and other Mexican specialties. This restaurant has a small dinning area with some benches outside. Was here on a taco Tuesday afternoon and it seemed too hot inside so we enjoyed our tacos outside on the benches. The tacos are like home made the best in the area you get 3 tacos for 7.99 which is an excellent deal. There's plenty of parking. Restrooms are outside and you need to ask for the key. Recommend this establishment for some excellent Mexican dishes.“

“Had trouble finding the restaurant since it’s located inside a liquor store. Burrito was not cheap, not expensive either, but was huge. For the price definitely got my money’s worth. Good burrito, good value. Didn’t get a chance to try different dishes.“

“The chicken tacos are pretty good, especially cheap on Tuesdays. Their burritos are a little better than ok. Kind of a dingy place but open late and there are worse options in the area. Lousy area and overall. If you’re hungry and everything else is closed it’s cool.“

“Vanessa at the front is a sweetheart. Always smiling and so very happy to be there working. I wish I could bottle up that spirit and sell it on ebay. The food is so worth it. Big plates of everything so much more that Miguel's Jr. I paid about 14 or something like that for the carne asada fries and it fed 2(two) full grown adults to splitting at the seams. Miguel's barely gave me a shallow plate for the same meal name and costs 2dollars more. This Alberto's has a salsa bar that is the best I've seen in riverside since before the Green Burrito joined Carl's Jr. They even have a free chip thing to get your own chips and salsa. ¡¡5stars plus+++!!“

“Been coming here for the past 3 years and it's time I finally write a review. My favorite spot for carne asada fries!! Always so consistent and looove the salsa bar. Such a generous spot always giving you rewards like free churros or burrito on your birthday. Only place I'll redeem my rewards cause coming here is always a treat. “I am giving a 4 star because there is always room for improvement. However, I have been here many times and have always received amazing food. The tortas, tacos, and quesadillas are all so delicious. My order has never been messed up and the meat has never been dry. Hands down one of my favorites places to go. Plus, the cashiers of the liquor store are usually very nice!“

“We’ve tried a lot of fast food Mexican restaurants, but Castanedas is hands down the best in the area. The food is absolutely amazing — everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The nachos, rolled tacos, and burritos were all delicious and fresh.
Prices are on par with similar places, maybe slightly on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality you’re getting. One of the highlights is the salsa bar — tons of options to customize your meal just how you like it. And the menu? Huge! You could eat here a hundred times and still have new things to try.

“I Dios mio, cannot get enough of the aquas Fresca Sandia, melon, ooh..wee! ? So fresh, made right in front of you from fresh cut fruit. They have a "pico de gallo" made of every fruit possible, it seems like. ? Cut fresh right in front of you. Drizzle some Limon, tajin on that. Fire! ?

“Very good Customer Service and above all their Varied Mexican Dishes of Mexican Food Michoacán Style and their Very Competitive Prices in terms of Price and Quantity ok and their Special Chile Sauce in Oil very Tasty and Spicy.
