“Great experience from the start. Was met at the host table by manager we greeted us and showed us to our seats. Followed by an extremely knowledgeable waiter who explained menus, drinks and cuts of meat. Steak, sides and seasonal holiday cocktails all blew away expectations. If a negative if any the setting is very intimate so it was loud in the restaurant but that's not an issue as my family and I used to speaking up. It was my son's birthday and they made it a memorable one for him. Amazing restaurant and staff highly recommend for anyone. Lucked up with street parking in front of restaurant as well.“

“Excellent service and attention to detail. French onion soup exceptional as was the wedge salad and flourless chocolate cake. Steaks were very good, not quite the best ever. But worth going to this restaurant while in the Harbor area of San Diego. One miss in our opinion: creamed spinach.“

“First visit to The Remy and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we sat down, everything felt thoughtful, welcoming, and elevated without being stuffy. The cornbread was a true standout—warm, perfectly textured, and honestly unforgettable. Every protein we ordered was cooked beautifully, flavorful, and executed with care. Service was attentive and kind without being intrusive, and the overall vibe made it feel like a special night out. We'll definitely be back—already dreaming about that cornbread! 🥩🌽✨“

“Classy and elegant atmosphere perfect for a fine dining experience (without the snobbery)! The table side caviar service is pure ecstasy and a must if you’ve never had it before. The whiskey flights did not disappoint either. Our waiter treated us like family and the entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a memorable meal, the Huntress is a slam dunk! Highly recommend!“

“We received an email regarding a steak and lobster 3 course meal, we arrived a little late for our reservation but was greeted with open arms. The nice receptionist sat us at a booth, super comfortable with some light music playing in the background. The restaurant has a certain beauty and the waiters were quick to set us up with drinks and they came promptly. We've had the waiter Korey before, he has the full menu memorized and knew how we liked our food. He brought out a seafood tower along with some oysters and dipping sauce. The appetizers were fresh and delicious. Korey is a pleasant person to talk to, always joyous and full of great local information. Our steaks were perfect, juicy, tender and full of flavor. We were surprised by a warm lava cake, yummmmm. The wife and I always appreciate Morton's and the employees, from Samatha, Joshua to Kory and Crisp. Thank You very much.“

“My husband and I have dinner at Black Angus almost once a month. This experience is why we keep coming back. The food is consistently delicious, We usually split the 16 oz. prime rib dinner and add an extra salad and zucchini appetizer. Our server, Jennifer, was very attentive and brought the food out just as we finished the previous course which was perfect. It's one of our go to local dinner spots.“

“The service was great! In fact the owner Sarah was so friendly & graciously had a steak replaced when the first one wasn’t what one of our friends expected. Sarah was kind & professional. She was so pleasant & even brought a bottle of champagne to our table & personally served it at the end of the evening! Alex , our server did a great job as well! Thank you both for a wonderful evening & meal! ??“

“After traveling over 3K miles to San Diego, it was a huge disappointment at the North Harbor location. Ordered an expensive steak with sautéed mushrooms. The mushrooms weren't on the steak. Mentioned this to our server. She returns with a Cup of Mushrooms instead of taking the plate back to the kitchen to have the Mushrooms placed onto the steak. The other dish was served cold. Clam Chowder should've come first before the meal. The soup was Cold on top and Hot at the bottom. Needless to say that bit I ate, made me very ill. We purposely didn't eat that day just to have a memorable experience like the one I had back in the 90's at the LA Mesa location. Went to the restroom. The stalls were occupied except the Handicap one. The door latch didn't work. Couldn't close the door properly. There was No hand soap available. I usually carry a very small bottle of Dawn liquid soap in my purse just in case. That's how I washed my hands. . No water refills and, The place Ran Out of Coffee!!! Seriously? We were told that there was No More Coffee until the next morning!!! The Creamer was brought out in a Fast Food Wax Soda Cup. We were celebrating a Birthday. A slice of Chocolate Cake was dropped off at the table.. Nobody Sang Happy Birthday, Nothing!! A very Cold Ambiance, Unfriendly, felt Unwelcomed too. This is very Bad for Claim Jumper. The Staff is the first people the Customer sees and talks to. Staff Standing at the side of the Bar, Jilly Jacking while customers are trying to flag down the server, is Bad!! Too bad my uncle Anthony Ghio who was the owner of Anthony's Fish Grotto across the street from Claim Jumper, closed many years ago after Mrs. Ghio passed away. Anthony's is no longer on N. Harbor Dr. or we would've Dined there. Total bill was $145.00 Will Never Go Back!!!“
