“Wow get the duck. We loved everything. Love the plate sharing concept. Order the yodel dessert even if you have no room. I'm still thinking about it. Service was great and very attentive. Our waiter recommended the Gruner vetliner that we loved.“

“The menu isnt extensive but has classic pasta and starter dishes. We started with the classica bruscetta and buschetta prosciutto & fichi, and the classica bruschetta was my favorite. The freshness of the tomatoes and flavor of the pesto was impeccable. We tried the cheese wheel pasta that comes with special pasta of the day (gnocchi with mushrooms and truffle) tossed in a cheese wheel and served in a pan. It was on the heavier, creamier and cheesier side and i would recommend it for those who are looking for a ooey gooey dish of pasta. Our server recommended the stuffed lobster and shrimp tortelli pasta. The sauce is creamy (but not as creamy as the cheese wheel pasta) and is made with tomatoes. The dish is topped with a big ball of burrata. We tried the espresso martini and cosmopolitan. The espresso martini had more of a strong coffee than bold liquor flavor, but the cosmopolitan was a little sweet and boozy. Overall, it was a solid meal and be prepared for a food coma afterwards. The interior is beautiful with wine bottles, paintings and pictures hanging on the wall. Street parking is the way to go. Our server was friendly, and the portions are generous for its price point.“

“We were happy to spend happy hour with the staff this Friday. The Tapas were delicious and the beer ice cold. The owners asked us to join them for delicious desserts prepared by their excellent chefs. Altogether a great evening. We are glad they are open again.“

“Botanica is like that quiet classmate sitting in the peripheral of your class. You don't notice them much, but one day, you got to chat with them and realized that they are really interesting and you just can't believe that all this while they have been there. They have a huge selection of cocktails and they all sound so delicious. I love the artistic pictures of each cocktail in the menu (even though they don't help in explaining what the drinks are) and they also have a couple of rotating cocktails. They have some small bites to go with the cocktails and we tried the Harissa lamb tarts and they're delicious! Our bartender was friendly and attentive. She helped us decide on our drinks by explaining to us what flavors to expect from each drink and what might go well with the food. I appreciate her attentiveness! The decor inside is electric, especially the restroom lol. There are some plant-looking things as the name suggests but on the whole it doesn't make me think of a garden.“

“Definitely make a reservation. Totally hip place. Great service. Food is OK. Sadly, the swordfish was not tasty at all. In fact, it was very watery. Definitely not five star tries to be a little too Fancy and a little too much seasoning. And a whole lot of smoky of everything. Cocktails are incredible. Bartender was so good. Decor is just basic. But it’s a very busy place with a really nice little patio out front.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly based on menu and Quaintance of the restaurant maybe at lunchtime it is but not for dinner“

“Great ambience, small and quaint. Right on the edge of Hillcrest. The host met us immediately and was super friendly. No wait for a party of 3 on a Saturday afternoon. For starters we got some plum hot Sake which was amazing and Gyoza and Sweet corn. Both hit the spot. For entrees we had Spicy Tonkatsu, Pork Tonkatsu and Kimchee Tonkatsu. All were good with lots of flavor. I liked this place. Not sure if I'd make a special trip...but of your in the area this place is great!“

“This is a go to favorite spot for my book club. The food here is always amazing and the atmosphere is lovely. The owner is a great person and helpful. This past year they were willing to host my book club even though they also had two other large parties (and it was raining). The service is always great and accommodating. The closed in patio is lovely and great for your pup. They are dog friendly! We will definitely be back and would recommend it to others.Parking: The lot in front is usually busy and full. The street spots are usually taken as well. If you go around to the back there is a paid lot with plenty of parking.“

“Ask if there's seating in the back patio, it makes the experience way better! My family and I ordered a number of things on my menu but a few that I highly recommend - SHRIMP & GARLIC BACON WRAPPED DATES POTATOES SHARABLE TAPPAS We also got the sangria which I don't really recommend because it was really watered down but if you're into wine then you should definitely go for a glass! The service was amazing; they were super quick and welcoming.“

“I ordered it online and they were quick to complete my order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and kids chicken quesadilla. The food was great. In regards to the pizza, the crust was thin just like I like it. The sauce was flavorful, and there was enough pepperoni on it. That's for the quesadillas. There were three Chicken quesadillas. I asked for only Monterey Jack cheese on it because they put both of them according to what I read, and they followed the instructions completely. I appreciate that because my great niece does not like the orange cheese as she calls it lol.“

“Great place for artisan tapas and curated wine PLUS killer happy hour till 6 even on Saturday. Their mango lychee sangria is amazing! Their take on traditional tapas was also quite refreshing - like the date hummus and the spicy aioli papas. Jason our waiter was super nice as well.“

“Small neighborhood sushi spot with great sushi and sake! The sake specials are something to definitely take advantage of! Unfortunately the bang bang corn was not in season during my most recent visit, but we’ll be back in no time. It would be best to call for a reservation, as they do get busy.Parking: Parking sports in front of restaurant and neighborhood parking.“

“It was sooooooo good. We had the carne asada flatbread and it was amazing. They only have French press coffee. I won't recommend it. It wasn't worth it. The service was great though. Everyone was really friendly. Also close to the beach and it was nice walking by the water after we ate.“

“What a fabulous place for a night out on the town to meet new people or creating memories with friends and family. You won't be disappointed. This place has class and sophistication with live music and Happy Hour nightly. Since this was our third time dining/drinking here this week, we thought we would share the love and invite one of our favorite couples to happy hour. The GM, Rudy was very hospitable and Gabz produced some delectable cocktails. The food was A-MAZ-ING!! We ordered the Chicken Flautas served with a tasty mole sauce, Pork Belly Tacos, Spicy Wings, Beet Hummus & Crudite Plate. For dessert and the pièce de résistance we ordered the chocolate cake. This was truly an overall excellent experience and we'll be back as often as we can!“

“As you know, parking is always tricky in North Park but there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. The service was so quick. We got water and as we turned around our food was already delivered to our table. They have self serve water (plain and sparkling) outside. I love how spacious outdoor/bar seating is on the patio. The music was great. A great vibe overall. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and craving some bomb ramen!Food review:Underbelly ramen: (5/5) The noodles, meat, and broth were all perfection in this bowl of ramen! It was a good portion and the meat was SO tender and delicious!Tonkotsu ramen: (5/5) The noodles were cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful, the soft boiled egg is always my favorite part, and the broth is delicious, I could just drink bowls of it. It's not super heavy and has so much flavor.Beef gyoza: (4/5) These were tasty, but there was not as much filling/meat inside as we like.Short rib bao: (3.5/5) The meat was very tender, but the coleslaw and spicy mustard didn't mesh well together in my opinion. I ate the meat, pickle, and bun and it was delicious. It comes with 2 buns, so plenty to share!“

“Enjoyed the substantial cocktail menu and that their happy hour deals are every day of the week. My cocktails were well balanced and served in lovely drink ware. You can tell the bartender knows what they're doing. Very few people on a Sunday afternoon, but a great spot with various seating options (inside / outside, bar / big table / small table) making it a solid choice for most occasion. Didn't try the food this time.“

“After dining at Buona Forchetta, I can't imagine enjoying pizza and pasta anywhere else in San Diego. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel like you're family. They're sociable, upbeat, and ready to make your meal a memorable one. Our dinner began with two different wines. I'm a wine enthusiast, and I didn't snap any photos or recall their names, but rest assured, their wine recommendations are spot-on. The Regina Margherita pizza was a revelation. With its incredibly flavorful thin crust and the heavenly sauce, it was a pizza-lover's dream come true. The Spaghetti in Due Pomodori was, hands down, the best pasta dish I've tasted in California. With a simple yet tantalizing blend of organic tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it was sheer perfection. The nightly special, Pollo Milanese, was another hit. The chicken was tender, brimming with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And then came the desserts. We indulged in every option on the menu, and each one was a delight. We didn't leave a crumb behind. I highly encourage you to channel your inner foodie and savor each one, just like we did!“

So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well! The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“
