“After walking the ever so steep San Francisco Hills in this area on the way to China Town, I stumbled upon a quaint little food shop with a tiny little woman by the name of Jasmin.
Entering you are greeted so warmly and kindly.
Her restaurant is not so big. The menu is big and obvious with all the ingredients posted. She serves beer and the theme of the place is very nice.
After taking the order, she quickly hopped over to her cooking area and whipped out the order as quickly and efficiently as it could be. When I got there, a few people trailed right after me and she served them just as well she had her system down.
If you're in the area, I would highly suggest dropping by and picking up a quick bite at Jasmins. ?“

“The food and service at Slider Buns is fantastic! The staff is super welcoming and friendly and efficient and there is a super affordable lunch special available ($12 for a burger, fries, and drink) weekdays. Great comfort food (burgers, fried food, etc.)“

“Where do I start! This place is such a treat! Not only is the food AMAZING but the service is incredible! On the way to SFMOMA my pickleball partner and I thought we would stop and get something to eat - Hooley Dooley were we happy! The food is so so good, the kombucha is delicious - my fave was the one that tasted like summer and Christmas (with currants in it).. AND the service is incredibly special, Numan (I think the owner) is such an awesome and incredibly nice person - it legitimately felt like we were eating lunch with a best friend! 10/10 would recommend!!! Ps. The hummus is life changing.“

“Really good chicken! We bought The G Meal plus some sides which was enough for 2 people. The chicken was crispy and delicious. However, their fries were soft and their mac and cheese quite firm and a little cold when we got it. Their Texas Toast was okay, but not sure I understood the idea of having it with chicken.“

“This was the best mexican food I have ever eaten! I got the eggplant tacos and they were amazing. The eggplant was crispy and so delicious. The Avocado, Onion and the cilantro were fresh. Definitely would recommend this place. ?

“Their banh mi and spring rolls with peanut sauce are excellent. Their peanut sauce is also on the thicker side which I really like ? compared to many other places whose peanut sauce is more like runny liquid. Their other options aren’t bad either; it makes great for lunch food. Highly recommend takeout as it seems this place is setup for that.“

“The best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area! Prices are excellent. Get the Number 5 to sample everything. I would come here at least one a week if I lived nearby! Order to go if you don’t want to sit in the tiny 10-person space. The food is worth it!“

“Ok.. I just hit the jackpot with this Cafe'. I have been craving a hot pastrami sandwich for the longest time thinking the only place to satisfy my craving will be in New York until I gave Sweet Joanna’s a try. I was lucky to be there when one of the owners, Mr. Zaro, took my order and confidently assured me that their sandwiches are the best. He was not lying. I got the best looking layered sandwich of pastrami, cheese, pastrami, avocado, pastrami lettuce and tomatoes on a warm Dutch crunch. I had to take a photo of this master piece to post here. I was in heaven when I took the first bite. The bread, the cheese and pastrami were heated first, explained Mr. Zaro, then the other fixings were added. That way you get an amazing crunchy bread with warm pastrami, melted cheese and the fresh veggies. This place will be my first stop when I am in San Francisco. It is clean with friendly staff and a great service.“

“Hands down my fav dim sum place by far. Point and choose. Just about every type of dumpling you can think of. Always a line. And such a good prices. Cash only. Most people take it to go. But you can sit on basic tables with bare minimum for ambiance. Still a winner no matter what you choose.“

“Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) - The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal - had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil.
The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish.
*I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout.
FINAL REMARKS: Would come here again for the aforementioned dish.“

“How is it possible for chicken to be so tender? It just is! Always order more than you can eat so you have some for later. Plus the million sauces are amazing. Get a few extra. The wait is very short, can get get busy at lunch time, but always a great experience. Always piping hot and flavorful. Mix and match regular and crispy.“

“Best fast casual Japanese food in the city! Ever since visiting Japan at the beginning of last year, I haven’t been able to find any casual Japanese food I really like in California until this place. I got the custom bowl with eel, imitation crab, and teriyaki tofu for protein and a mixed base of salad and rice. It was super satisfying for dinner on a rainy day, and I felt full but not heavy. The portion size was just right, and the ingredients were fresh and yummy.“

“This place is expensive, 10.00 for a 4 inch sandwich, but it's totally worth it! I got the BBQ brisket sandwich and YUM! The only downer is that the guy at the counter is hard to understand, which happens, but the look of disappointment he gave to anyone who didn't tip was not cool. I never tip the first time I go there. After the first time, if it's eat in, I tip, but carryout is a no.“

“"Embarked on a culinary journey with my brother today! Opted for Panda Express takeout as Super Duper Burgers lacked dining. Enjoyed their savory fried rice with chicken right outside Super Duper Area. Mixing it up for a delightful meal experience! ?? Price-wise, Panda Express always hits the spot! #FoodieAdventures"“

“Great simple lunch meal. Perfectly pickled vegetables. Nicely seasoned rice. Good ratio of ingredients. Kalbi beef did not have the bone, which I preferred. No kimchi as another reviewer already noted, I think that’s referring to the kimchi fried rice. Overall very yummy and flavorful.“

“Without a doubt my favorite burgers. I ordered the golden state and the Korean fries. The ingredients are locally sourced in California and taste spectacular. Simply delicious.Regarding the fries, if you are not used to Korean style dressing, it is not a peanut flavor which might not be very compatible with the fries. I suggest ordering the regular ones.“

“One of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in SF—100% better than Chipotle, with all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the noodle bowl and quinoa bowl. They’re only open from 11 AM to 2 PM, and I just wish they were open longer and on more days. A true hidden gem!“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a hidden gem for fried chicken lovers, offering a bold and flavorful Cajun-style experience. The chicken is consistently crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside, with a perfectly seasoned crust that sets it apart from other fast-food chains. Their honey butter biscuit is a must-try—soft, flaky, and slightly sweet, it complements the savory chicken beautifully. The menu also features delicious sides like Cajun fries, mac and cheese, and jambalaya, all packed with rich Southern flavors that make for a satisfying meal.“

“This place is no longer a grab and go.I was looking forward to selecting single pieces as other reviews mentioned, but I didn’t look at the more recent ones saying that is no longer the case.I ended up leaving and finding something else to eat instead. Most of the premade bento boxes are $17+ and I think there are better options for that price.“

“This place used to be a homeless lounge. Man, have they remodeled and really utilized their workers well with staffed touch screens for us easily frustrated elders over 40 ???? their janitorial staff is on top of it ??? and they by far are the quickest and most economical place to eat in the entirety of FiDi next to Harrington's Pub...
Wheelchair accessibility: Being slower with sports injuries from my exuberant youth, I seek these options out. Clean and accessible! I highly recommend this port in the SF economic budget minded storm.“

“I sometimes order pickup from World Wrapps in Corte Madera or SF after my work in Marin; have been doing so for years now. I love their salmon and beef bowls.
The one in Corte Madera though has iffy quality checks. This is the second time now I've had missing items in my order. Recently I ordered an extra salmon (+$7) that wasn't added. You can see in the pic only one bowl had double salmon when I got it for both.
I think they should reduce or simplify their online order options if they can't keep up with it.
UPDATE: they reached out to me and were able to get me refunded on missed items + gave some credits on the next order, which was appreciated.“
