“I don’t know how ‘hidden’ of a gem this is - but it is a gem. Such a unique place seeing as the only other one in the world is in London. Food is stellar and there are both British and American options on the menu. The display of motorcycles creates a fun atmosphere. There is a shop, barber, tattoo parlour, and display room for motorcycles as well as many other places to hang out here. Must visit if you are an auto or motorcycle enthusiast while in LA“

“From the outside, The Airliner looks like a dive bar serving standard dive bar fare. But make no mistake, Chef Vinh Nguyen has created a stunning menu of excellent, creative, and absolutely delicious food!
We had a tasting for my daughter's wedding, and we were served such terrific items as Green Chop Salad (spicy thair dressing), Hunan BBQ pork ribs, Green Curry Crispy Rice, onion noodles, and tater tots with Gochujang glaze.
I forgot to take pictures, but everything looked as great as it tasted.
The next time we are in LA, we look forward to going there for dinner, and we couldn't be happier that Chef Nguyen will be catering our daughter's wedding!“

“Great qualities of meat selection and a bunch of other types of excellent qualities of food. Definitely a place to go to celebrate and for special occasions. The beef, especially the galbi, the shrimp, takoyaki, and everything is fantastic. We can grab most of the food and the premium food came out very fast. Will definitely come back.“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic,locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“Beautiful bar. Modern with a home feel. The ambiance is very chill. Large and wide open window on one side gives you a good view of Sunset Blvd. opposite is the patio that has the food. You can order via a QR code and get a text when your food is ready. Drink menu is great! Bartenders are friendly.“

“Been coming to this bar for quite a few years and there’s been a few changes here and there. Overall though, it’s a bar I still very much enjoy on my days off or right after work.
I love this bar in the morning when it just opens. Tbvh the BEST time to come. You get the special and get to enjoy their patio and the fresh air and plants. Love love loveee this place for that. Staff is really nice and attentive any time of the day.
Great selection of cocktails and beers and always served with chilled glasses. Atmosphere is hip and chill and great for conversations or being alone.
Food thoughhh hmmm Nawh I wouldn’t do it 😭 the fries yes. Idk since they changed their menu I’m not into it tbvh. Portions are too small for how pricy. Too many restaurants around to eat here, mainly a bar.
For this review I got the shrimp tacos. Felt like shrimp you would put in top of pasta not tacos. Didn’t enjoy them sadly. The sushi is oki from here if you are looking to eat here.“

“Really good food! The manager fit us in even there was an issue with our reservation. He was so sweet. The menu is a bit confusing/overwhelming, but our waiter Nessie knew exactly what we should order and hooked us up. The miso sea bass was incredible.“

“I love the atmosphere at this place. The seating can fill up quickly depending on the day and I find the music is loud. My favorite place to sit is the stools on the outside that have a lovely view to the liveliness inside. Great spot for friends, dates or even alone!“

“I was told to review for a free Thai Iced Tea: Good atmosphere, the decor and lighting is beautiful! Good service, I went on a busy Friday night so it took a little longer to get the server's attention but they were soooo nice when they attended me. Not the best Thai food I've had, although I'm not a good guide for identifying Thai food authenticity. That said, the Pad Thai was not pleasing to my palette. Personally, it was too salty.
I do like that they their happy hour ends at 8pm on a Friday night, which is pretty late compared to other restaurants, and they are open late as well. Pad Thai -$17 + $4 to add chicken“

“We found ourselves starting off date night at Alma’s, ✨the only cider bar in Los Angeles AND with the biggest cider menu in the US and quite possibly the world✨ With so many delectable drinks in sight, we landed on a sour cider (me) and a Pilsner (him). Charcuterie Boards also are magically made right in front of you by the bartender, further giving off the Brooklyn vibe that’s fitting of the neighborhood?

“This place is a haven for ALL of geekdom. As a fan of the show, Fatman Beyond, we HAD to visit the Scum and Villainy Cantina during our SoCal vacation. It was even better than we imagined! It was smaller than expected, but what it lacked in size, it made up for with ambience. It was obvious how much heart went into it's creation. You could see J.C. Reifenberg's passion for sci-fi/fantasy in the decor. In addition, the staff was so incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The menu was creative and the food/drinks were delicious. To top it all off, Bamf Man, himself, came to our table and talked to us while we were there! Incredible experience! “I have been visiting this place since I turned 21.
They are Korean owned, in the heart of Korea town, but what gives them their edge is that they serve the same all American, high quality food that they did 25+ years ago. They are vintage and charming in.every sense of the word.
Over the years, the staff have always been great. It's a happy company culture, so no matter who is working there, it is consisten friendly service.
Stiff, well priced drinks, best $40 steak in town, zero complaints.“

“Went in last night for New year's, been living in the neighborhood for 16 years and went in for the first time and had a good time. I'm sure not every night is like new year's (2017-2018). Great people, good prices. The music was good. They have English and Spanish music at the juke box. Very chill place can be low key if you wanted to be alone. And plenty of parking. Restroom were clean I was very surprised. I'll be coming back.“
