“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. My only comment would be that the food wasn’t as hot as I had hoped it would be by the time it came out to our table on the patio, but it was enjoyable. And the service is good.“

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“We had a wonderful Sunday brunch with an out-of-town friend. We were looking for a place that was somewhat on the way between picking her up at LAX and dropping her off at her hotel in DTLA Little Tokyo and could accommodate food restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian) and Akasha was all that and more! Great space with delicious food - including great GF onion rings and a fantastic GF banana walnut loaf cake that was so good that we took one home with us too! The menu was varied, interesting, and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!“

I enjoyed the mango smoothie, and my friends got more classic choices like matcha, oolong, and brown sugar milk tea.

Everything was very tasty! Priced accordingly for the Culver City foot traffic that frequents it. They also sell high-grade tea separately!

With its bohemian vibe and decoration it’s definitely a trendy but not pretentious place to stop by

“Everything about this place is PERFECTION. The owner, Plern, is an absolute genius! Plern has so much talent and puts all her heart into this place. You really feel like you’re being cared for here.“

“I'm a regular here - the masala dosa is so good I have to have it several times a month! Gobi Manchurian when I want a sweet and sour and savory and spicy carb treat. Get a side of plain yogurt to dip it in and mellow out the spice just right. Delicious smooth chai tea if I'm there for lunch (caffeine). Don't look for ambiance here, especially when they're at capacity. Very noisy with open kitchen blenders, searing dosa on the large griddle and tables close together all amplified by terrible acoustics. I only go at off-peak times.

“Found this micro bakery while searching for vegan cakes in cheviot hills. What a decadent chocolate cake! Our whole family loved it! We got the one with hazelnut cream. Soo good!

“S&W is a classic American breakfast/lunch cafe in the heart of Culver City right near the Kirk Douglas theatre. The location can't be beat but parking can be an issue(not in my case though as I used the excellent Culver City bus).

The menu has the classics and I liked I could build my own 3 egg omelette stuffing it with jack cheese, onions, corn beef, ground beef, bell peppers. It also came with sourdough bread and hash browns(other options available like pancakes. I spent $20 total but the value is above average it was alot of food.

Note: I really like that they ONLY take cash because it contrasts to the trend I really dislike of places not taking cash.

Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.I ordered:1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!2. I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍
