Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “Celebrating my husband's 65th Birthday. Took a excursion today to cool off out of the valley heat and searched out an authentic Italian meal. I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. “I have been visiting this place for over a decade and it's consistently a great place to have dinner with family, friends, or co-workers. The food is good. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options and they are clearly marked on the menu card which makes it so much easier.

The service is friendly and prompt and the best part is they sing a birthday song for you in opera style if you're celebrating a birthday.“

“Me and my family ended up choosing this place due to its close proximity. The guy who took our order was humbled and nice.

The pizza itself has a nice and flavorful pizza sauce which is sweet, the crust also has a nice crunch to it. The veggies were also delightful.“

“My husband wanted Italian for his birthday lunch. We ordered a Locanda salad, polpete, vongole with pasta, lasagna, salmone with puttanesca sauce and vegetables, focacio bread, limoncello pear torte and pana cotta with 3 lattes. The salad came first, nice and refreshing, good dressing. Then the bread, a little dry, nice dipping sauce. The meatballs were flavorful, we took the leftover sauce home. Then the clams, the pasta part was excellent but the clams were not as appealing, no memorable flavor. The salmon was fine but the excellent part were the potatoes, good texture. The lasagna was a favorite, nice melty cheese. The desserts were fun: pear, lemon and a pudding-like pana cotta. The coffee was ok, not as strong as I like. Service was attentive and efficient.“

“We held our wedding afterparty at Gardino’s in August 2026. Pete and his staff did an excellent job hosting us! They kept Gardino’s open late on a Sunday night and provided us full bar service and served up garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, meatballs, french fries, and tiramisu. The service was reasonably priced with no minimums or buy out fee. Pete was very easy to work with and flexible to our preferences. Our guests all had a great time and were able to spread out around the restaurant and even make use of the tables on the patio outside. The planning for this event was pretty freeform; we worked out the details with Pete a couple weeks prior to the wedding on the phone and there was no contract. Nevertheless, the event took place without a hitch and we are very happy with how it all turned out! And the italian slushies were delicious!!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. “This is the shop on the first floor/ground floor of Eataly and it’s amazing. But it’s SO confusing to know where you are because a bunch of different shops are just lobbed onto Eataly. Like Eataly is this Italian themed mini mall inside the Westfield Valley Fair shopping centre. That’s why the star rating is so low and there are three reviews here lol. I have been to Eataly a few times and though their supermarket is great, their indoor restaurant is meh in terms of food and service (haven’t tried the separate outdoor restaurant), the only real reason I come here is for the service at Alla Pala and the gelato at IL Gelato di Eataly. They’re both on the first floor. Alla Pala has a great assortment of meals and sides. The taste can be a hit or miss esp since it’s costly, but I won’t pass up going there cos the staff at Alla Pala specifically are very professional and five star. The service feels so posh and upper class, it’s wonderful.“
