“This beautiful Thai restaurant is located in Danville. Yesterday we had project dinner in this restaurant. Liked the fish dish more than chicken dish . Thai Basil chicken was little sweeter in taste similar to teriyaki chicken. Shrimp tempura & whole Brazino fish fry was awesome in taste similar!“

“The food was delicious and quick to arrive. Service was okay. It wasn't very busy and the waiter didn't check in on us often so we would have to flag someone down for water refills. The busser was clearing the table as we were sitting there and would reach his hand out to each person waiting for us to hand him our dishes.“

The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated, the Prospect Roll had the perfect balance of texture and flavor, and the Katsu was crispy, juicy, and comforting.

So they are doing fabulous but here are some additional suggestions from me - -I wish they would do a weekly soup and quiche flavor according to the seasons as they do with desserts. -I would love to see a comprehensible cake list with sizes and prices to be able to order cakes for birthdays and such. -I would love to see opera cake slices as it’s one of my favorites. -Since most items are on the $$ side, it would be great if they let people sample a few of the newer things because people are hesitant to spend money on something they are not sure they would like. “Tides is a great place to dine! The restaurant is lovely: well spaced tables; beautiful lighting; very nice art work; comfortable chairs and banquettes; and an excellent color scheme. The food is wonderful: we started with a dozen oysters and crab cakes and both were delicious (we were a party of four); our entrees were the excellent blackened halibut (one guest did not care for the spicey topping, so cut that off, but the other guest devoured the fish with gusto), the sea bass was perfect, and the scallop risotto outstanding; everything was prepared beautifully and plated beautifully, too; portions were just right; for dessert we shared the lava cake and butter cake to rave reviews. Service was excellent: Robyn was our server and she was everything you hope for in that position; she timed everything nicely; she made great suggestions; she was warm and friendly; she checked for our satifaction with each course; she made sure our water glasses were filled when needed; and she did not rush the end of the meal after presenting the bill. If I had NOT ordered an expensive bottle of wine, our bill would have been about $350. For the vibe of the restaurant, the quality of the food, and the excellence of the service, Tides is a geat value; I highly recommend Tides!“
