“Wow! Ok, it was a little expensive, but TOTALLY WORTH it. Dim sum all day! Their Dim Sum menu was so nice that I didn't want to write on it 😁 Food was amazing! Nice BIG pieces. Delicious. Perfect. Service was attentive. Private restrooms, not stalls - and very clean. They were using just one hall at lunch but they looks like they have seating for very large parties. Check out the pictures I took.“

“Love the salmon and my new fav is the dynamite shrimp bowl!! Rice cooked perfectly, shrimp are perfectly cooked and just the right spicyness and bright flavors to perk it up! Delicious! My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful! Staff is sweet and helpful! Thanks great experience !!“
“The gym is great. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Giant tennis area, 2 basketball courts, lots of cardiov machines, yoga studios with lots of classes, I usually don't have to wait for anything in the weight room. The big drawback is the cost. Very expensive membership. I wouldn't be going here if I had to pay for cost of membership.“

“Montecatini Restaurant is always a welcome evening for our family. We can always count on perfectly prepared meals every time whether it's a traditional pasta dish, seafood or house specialty item. Their service is friendly and efficient and our experiences there are consistently top-notch. We love to start with either the prawns wrapped in pancetta with pesto aioli appetizer or the bay shrimp on butter lettuce salad. The prawns are full of flavor and great to share, and the bay shrimp salad is a great portion, small meal-size with delicate balance of flavors. The carpaccio is also a favorite of our family, we order it with the arugula, red onion and dijon dressing. You cannot go wrong when ordering your favorite Italian entrees; we've literally never had even an average experience here! Pastas are perfectly cooked, well sauces and the portions are abundant. The Classics are authentic, delicious and the seafood entrees are always perfectly executed! They offer a full bar and a wonderful wine list! This restaurant gets my highest recommendation!“

“First time trying this place on 5/9/25 and I must say it’s pretty darn good. Service was great and the food was amazing. Fish was seasoned well and the sides was good although my rice was kinda clumpy. Service was fast also and I will definitely recommend coming here for some good food. I also liked the little jukebox playing the old school music.“

“I only gave it a 4 because depending on the time you order, the shrimp is either perfectly cooked and fresh or black. But the flovor of the sauce is delicious. Same with the eggs if you order when they just open there good, but later in the day, they look overcooked.“

“Great food and service the staff was super friendly and patient with us being first-timers there! Highly recommend the pokerrito! Dining area was a bit dirty from the heavy lunchtime crowd coming and going but all the staff there were too busy making food to get to the tables to clean, so it was understandable.“

“I've been a few times so far. The first time I went the food was spectacular, this was for dinner. When I went for brunch it was a little lack luster for the breakfast carnitas. However, I think how it was prepared just wasn't suited for how I thought the breakfast carnitas would be served. I'll definitely be back to try other main courses.“

“My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.
They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.
Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)“

“Fresh and delicious! So nice to grab a quick, easy dinner here on a hot night.
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating regarding my need to avoid sugar. They even let me taste 1 drop to be sure I wouldn't get myself in trouble with a blood sugar spike.“

“I hadn’t heard of Tugboat until just this week reading an online story about the restaurant. It’s downright difficult to find a Fish & Chips eatery in the area. Living 25 minutes from their Pleasant Hill location is an issue but I decided to give it a go. I’ll definitely be back. The menu is extensive including the likes of prawns, catfish, oysters, calamari, even lumpia. I came for the fish and stayed for the tempura style prawns combo special. At $15.99 you’ll get a generous piece of fish, four prawns and a basket of fries. I read in an earlier review the fish wasn’t cod, and I really don’t know if it was but it was tasty with a golden brown deep fried crust. The tempura prawns were meaty and prepared perfectly. While you order at the counter, the food was delivered to my table along with tartar and cocktail sauce, and ketchup. The necessary malt vinegar was already at the table. The fork was plastic but I didn’t use one. It’s a casual place and I dined alone—finger food fish n fries if you will. The restaurant is bright, airy and sunny with a very definite nautical theme from the wallpaper to paintings and accessories/ornaments. There was no trash disposal in sight to enable an easy self bussing of the table, the soda machine was out of order (what no free refills😳) but their cold box of soda, teas etc. was ice cold so all good. The location is in a small retail center (Ellingwood) two doors down from an Outback Steakhouse so there’s plenty of parking. I’ve read where some think it’s pricey, but fish is expensive so I was satisfied with my bill. As mentioned previously, I’ll definitely be back, and if you like fish and chips, I’d highly recommend giving it a try.“

“My wife and I love this place. This is our go to for lunch. I always get the BBQ Beef with Rice or the BBQ Chicken with rice. Everything here is delicious. I’ve tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Rice, both BBQ plates and next I want to try the seared Duck. We come here at least twice a month for lunch. It’s a cozy little place and very welcoming. The hosts are always friendly and smiling. The food is delicious and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I make the drive from Antioch every time because this place is a Home Run every time!“

“Good food, friendly service, fun times. But when your table is done, move your crew along so others can also enjoy it!! We waited extensively even with a reservation. It stresses the staff and the system and prevents the restaurant from serving more patrons!“

“Vanessa’s Bistro is hands down my favorite restaurant in Walnut Creek. I like to get out and try new places but yet I always find myself coming back to VB2 for amazing food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere. It’s my favorite place to take friends that have never tried it. If you want to impress in a casual way it’s perfect for a first date or girls night out too. Try the Claypot Rice Or Prawns with mango and garlic butter noodles! Potstickers Chicken rolls All of it!“

“This staple of the San Ramon food culture is still incredible. The service is fast, friendly, and accurate. The food (appetizers, rolls, and nigiri/sashimi) are fresh, delicious and prepared with care. The location is convenient and there’s plenty of parking. I will continue to happily give this place my business, and if you’re looking for the best sushi place in the whole area, you’ve found it. 10/10 will definitely go again.“

“We recommend the pear & strawberry salad; order the starter size unless you want to fill up on salad. The chicken piccata and chicken saltimbocca were both excellent, with delicious buttery sauce and plentiful portions. The flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce was an excellent topper. If the service had been a little quicker, it would have been a perfect night, but that's a quibble.“

“My son and I went there, tonight. Generous portions, and made me a Chicken Chimichanga, even though it’s not current menu. The flavor was great, and the chicken very tender. I liked the addition of the radishes and carrots on the side. (Slightly pickled) Fast service and friendly, too. We will go back.“
“Ok, if you have never had amazing mapo tofu or laziji (fried chicken pieces in dried chilis), two of my favorite Sichuan cuisine dishes, you HAVE to order these two dishes from this place, plus a bowl of rice. Phenomenal flavor, they hit it spot on with the best that we have had in Beijing, the only other place that can compare is Tasty Szechuan in Hayward, so of course we are happy there is a closer place to us in Dublin. Need to have it made spicy, or the tofu lacks the right flavor. The pain is worth the flavor! Their green onion pancakes are not good, but their gan bian sijidou (stir fried green beans) are super good, as well as their eggplant dish (if you like a slightly sweet flavor). Just thinking about those 2 dishes gets me salivating! Oh and then if you want the best milk tea, get it from nearby Feng Cha - regular black tea mill tea, don’t add any toppings, no ice, 75% sweetness (or 50% if you like it with just a touch of sweetness), sooo good, better than most places we tried in Taiwan. For $6, so much more worth it than all the mediocre ice cream places I have tried around here (still have not found an amazing local creamery). Enjoy!“

“If you’re looking for a shrimp taco, look no further. One order is a set of three shrimp tacos, which perhaps is a drawback for some looking to try a large variety. But don’t fret. It’s almost as if the restaurant knows as soon as you bite into the first one, you’ll be craving many more. Served on two tortillas with cheese melted between them, the shrimp is lightly battered and fried before being sauced with a savory salsa. Simply delicious“

“Really Nice guys; I want them to succeed because it's nice having a taqueria down the street. They have a great taco Tuesday special, although the sign is tiny and you might miss it. As I write this, it's $10 for 3 street tacos and an agua fresca or soda. And then they give you chips & there is a salsa bar, so that is a major plus. I have also had the nachos, which were very large, and the Chilaquiles, which were nice & spicy.“

“At Golden Sand Harbor, everything just felt right. The tea came in cups with a clever grooved design — so hot we wrapped them in napkins, and the staff immediately brought extra without us even asking. Small touches like that set the tone.
The food was excellent: Singapore noodles light and flavorful, har gow and shumai perfectly done, and the beef tripe that the gentleman at the door suggested — exactly the authentic taste I remembered from Shanghai. He knew what I meant, and he was right.“

“Our 3rd time at Tides in about a year was a quiet Sunday evening. I just love the decor in this restaurant. The deep green velvet upholstered banquettes, the high ceilings and the use of plants create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. As usual, we had very good service, and our meals were excellent. As an Andrea Aker, I appreciate that they had several nonalcoholic cocktails to choose from. I decided to try one called “the love of L“. It was a lavender flavored lemonade with lychee syrup. It was delicious. A little too sweet for my taste. To make it a 10, it would be great if there could be an option to have this without as much sugar (or even with stevia sweetener). It’s a small group of mine about most mocktails: they are all made very sweet. Still, it was beautifully presented and tasty. My husband enjoyed some of it too. He got an old-fashioned that was smoked. It was kind of elaborate —they smoked at the table. He loved it! We tried the new Teriyaki steak skewers as an appetizer. I really like this! I almost never order beef at a restaurant, but this preparation appealed to me. There was a lovely little salad with a sesame based dressing that accompanied them. Both of us got fish entrées. I had the Seabass and he had the blackened halibut. We both liked his better. It came with a mango salsa and a scrumptious Passionfruit beurre Blanc sauce. We couldn’t resist ordering dessert. Carrot cake is one of my husband’s favorites and this one was prepared without raisins, which is perfect because he doesn’t like raisins. It was delicious. I got the flourless chocolate torte. That was also a winner. It has a texture like ganache or fudge icing on a cake. It came with a raspberry coulis and some whipped cream. We also got ice cream to go with. Usually Tides is busier, but this was the first Sunday night of the back to school week so the whole town was pretty quiet. And with only a few other tables, the noise level was nice in the restaurant and we could easily hear each other talk. I’m pretty sure even when the restaurant is more full that it’s still one of the quieter restaurants.“
