“I tried Tides for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Had the oysters, steak skewers, crab cakes and sea bass. The food was very good, although the steak skewers and crab cakes were only moderately warm upon arrival. Sea bass was excellent; but definitely could have been bigger for the price point. Oysters were on point and excellent as well. Amazing service by the waiter as well as well as the hostess. The birthday card and complimentary dessert were a nice touch. Upscale, trendy interior. Will be back!“

My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful! “If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food, Mayflower is the place to go. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding, and the portions are generous—definitely great value for the price.

The highlight for me is the Peking duck. It’s perfectly prepared, with crispy skin, tender meat, and all the traditional accompaniments. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere made the dining experience even better. The bus boy named Christian went out of his way to keep us our table clean and refilling our drinks.

Highly recommend Mayflower for anyone craving delicious, authentic Chinese dishes!“

“The gym is great. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Giant tennis area, 2 basketball courts, lots of cardiov machines, yoga studios with lots of classes, I usually don't have to wait for anything in the weight room. The big drawback is the cost. Very expensive membership. I wouldn't be going here if I had to pay for cost of membership.“

This visit nothing caught my interest on the specials so I was able to try a regular menu item I had not tried before. “I only gave it a 4 because depending on the time you order, the shrimp is either perfectly cooked and fresh or black. But the flovor of the sauce is delicious. Same with the eggs if you order when they just open there good, but later in the day, they look overcooked.“

“My wife and I love this place. This is our go to for lunch. I always get the BBQ Beef with Rice or the BBQ Chicken with rice. Everything here is delicious. I’ve tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Rice, both BBQ plates and next I want to try the seared Duck. We come here at least twice a month for lunch. It’s a cozy little place and very welcoming. The hosts are always friendly and smiling. The food is delicious and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I make the drive from Antioch every time because this place is a Home Run every time!“

“My wife and I went here with a couple who live in Pleasant Hills. Can’t remember what everyone had but I had sesame chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. We all had hot tea. I often order sesame chicken when trying a new (to me) Chinese restaurant as I have this often (or Hunan beef, Kung Pao beef/shrimp) and this gives me a basis for comparison. The sesame chicken was good. Service was good. I will probably go back when I am in the area.“

The food is amazing and the staff is amazing also. The cashier lovepreet was amazing he ran down all the promotions and if you have a phone number on file you can get discounts on food and gas etc. Offered me free Fuji water and everything they had to offer.... This is one of the happiest gas stations in San Ramon. Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself. There's a little old Chinese woman that works there she is sweet as pie.“

Place was only 20% occupied in a Friday night, so service was very personal and attentive. The food was among the best sushi I've ever had in the Bay Area. Also pretty unique and just a little different from other places. I will say they the price level is also just a tad higher (rolls around $20 and some significantly higher), but I totally see this justified by the quality of the food. Overall, very highly recommended. I would certainly go back if I was staying in the area again.“

Since my daughter's favorite food is anything Italian, we thought we'd try the local restaurant. They had chicken parmesan on the menu so I thought I'd try it. Wasnt expecting much because I was spoiled by Carmines. It was good... not as big a portion but plenty ... the chicken was pounded flat, lightly battered, and covered with parmesan. And the sauce on the penne was really good. A great surprise. And even the appetizer, the calamari was fresh, on a salad with capers ... really good. great local find“

“It’s good to find a neighborhood restaurant that serve Szechuan/chongqing spicy dishes. The price, service & atmosphere are good. Some dishes like the chongqing style fried chicken, spicy beef in chili sauce and toothpick lamb are great. Some dishes are ok, but really disappointed with the cold dishes. Especially fu qi fei pian that should be the most remarkable cold dish was pretty blend and the slices are too thick“

“I'm confused by the lack of recent reviews.. i went here the other night because they were open til 11:45pm which is awesome cus i clock out at 11.. went with a safe order, some zhangzhou rice n a couple chx skewers.. this place is the real deal whoevers reading this, you can safely ignore the old shitty reviews. The food was just insanely good.. not a particularly complicated dish but its one of those.. anyone can do this but few have mastered it* 100% worth it to try this place out. “This is my second time there and the food is authentic and super tasty yet again. They serve Dim Sum even for dinner which is a bonus. Their crab meat fish maw soup is a must and being a seafood lover - their seafood dim sum dishes hits close to home. Their manager is very accommodating and ensures all guests are well taken care of.“
