“Honestly, this is one of those places you almost want to keep secret. The cafe is a converted house, so it feels much cozier and more welcoming than a typical coffee shop. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged.

I ordered a latte and a crepe, and both were excellent. The latte was smooth and flavorful, and the crepe was absolutely delicious. The owner was also incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home.

I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing cafe with great coffee and food“

“Formerly called The Reverse Orangutang now turned into this little coffee gem. What makes this probably one of my favorite places in the area is the fact that they offer such creative drinks along with the names. Besides that they do straight up coffee items as well. Flavorful coffee with a chill ambiance, what else could you ask for? Well maybe if the service was a little more friendly and not so hesitant to offer dine in service then yes this would definitely be a five star coffee shop in my book. Besides my personal gripe with that they do eventually give in if you ask for dine in service. Presentation is great along with the coffee. The shop itself is a shared space with another business so seating can be limited inside but they do have a small patio area on the side and a couple of seats in the front. So if you’re in the area and looking for flavorful coffee drinks or straight up Joe then definitely check out this place.“

“Great coffee and chai! My husband and I stopped in while visiting our kids in the area. Adorable place and some of the coffee we have had. He had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and I had an iced dirty chai. We loved them both. We will be back any time we are in town!“

“It’s in the name, roasters. This is what they specialize in. They roast their own coffee beans and sell them too, they sound delightful. I will be coming back to try more coffee and buy their coffee beans. The complex flavors of the coffee beans came through, it was smooth and delicious. It’s a little watery, but I personally don’t mind as I could get the coffee flavor through.

But I have one issue and it’s their matcha. I’m very disappointed. Not only did it not taste like matcha, and I mean, it truly had no flavor, the syrup or whatever they use to add additional flavor of your liking also did not come through at all. It straight up tasted like milk with an essence of something. I think they need to go back to the drawing board and measure everything again c how much matcha, how much flavoring of choice to add, because we are not coming here to pay $6+ dollars for milk, when we can go buy a jug at the markets. Matcha is definitely not a specialty and I don’t think it should be on the menu. There has been a shortage of matcha from Japan and frankly, any place that doesn’t do it justice should help contribute to this shortage by not buying or selling it at all. It’s an insult.
I have various brands of matcha I’ve collected from my travels in Japan and add my own additions to it and I enjoy collecting coffee beans from my travels or here locally and making coffee at home. I don’t speak from ignorance or lack of experience or experimenting myself, their matcha shouldn’t be on the menu unless they make some changes.“

“The Bottom Line Up Front:
In a world filled with corporations masquerading as sophisticated boutiques, Philz is a growing chain that still retains a cozy atmosphere while serving up great coffee. I've been to other Philz, but this review will focus on this Brea location.

The Drink:
I got the seasonal salted caramel cold brew and it was delicious. Picture Starbucks' caramel macchiato but less sweet and with less acidic espresso. This Philz drink was smooth and creamy, with enough caffeine kick to keep me powered throughout the day.

The Service:
Our barista was very knowledgeable and offered a few suggestions and a couple of samples so that I could make the right selection. Grade A service!

The Setting:
Located in the new section of Brea Mall, this Philz location is a freestanding building so you have to walk outside of the mall to access it from the southwest side. There's no street parking, so you'll need to park in the large parking structure across from Nordstrom (currently...but they are doing more construction so this could change in the future).

The Conclusion:
As part of a franchise that doesn't act like one, the Brea location of Philz offers great coffee with excellent customer service.“

“Stopped by Enchanted Coffee Co and it was the perfect start to the morning. I ordered a Miel latte with a triple shot, and it was absolutely delectable — smooth, balanced and just the right amount of sweetness.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The wait time was short and the overall vibe of the café was calm and inviting, ideal for an early morning coffee run.

“I have been here multiple times and will continue coming here everything I have ordered has been amazing!! The strawberry cold foam is sooo good the peanut butter latte with banana cream top is just as amazing! Their food is also great ! I love their bacon breakfast burrito… they promote inclusion hiring people with disabilities which I think is awesome! With that being said some of my visits I have waited for my order and other visits my order is out so fast, but this is very well worth the wait! It is also one of the if not only the only coffee shops that asks what my milk preference is without me having to remember I switch my milk .“
