“I don’t typically rate restaurants, but we had to after eating here! The food was outstanding! Everything paired well, was cooked perfectly and was well beyond our expectations. The service was quick and everyone there was very friendly and welcoming! We will absolutely be back! 10/10 recommend!“

“The best place to watch a sunset with a cocktail and great food.
Drakes has outstanding service, a vegan/vegetarian menu, and the view from the bar is the best kept secret.
Vegetarian options: All you need to do is request the vegetarian/vegan menu and they have each dish outline in the ways they can accommodate.“
“Climbing the original wooden stairs of this historic house, I was instantly transported back to its former days .The room was large, clean, comfortable and overlooked a park and patio.Unfortunately the prime of its life is drifting into disuse with the once famous restaurant and musical venue, closed down. ? The self check in is easy, good french- press coffee, comfortable bed and original squeaky floors.Close to excellent eateries, bakery, and friendly staff at the local general storeNearby activities: A short scenic drive to Dillon beach“

“The barbecue oysters are fantastic! The clam chowder was a bit of a disappointment. I'd had it about 10 years ago, and it was the best I've ever had. It was briny, full of plump clams, and while it was creamy, it was not thick. What I was served was thick with no evidence of clams. It was like chowder served at Midwestern diners. The service was really attentive and helpful. I'll be back for the oysters, but I'll pass on the chowder next time.“

“a great place to get a dog or burger & fries which seems funny in a seaside town.
I’ve been here a few times- definitely not a glamorous spot but decent enough and there are views of the Bodega marsh.
I was pleased there were veggie options and ordered the veggie dog which was quite tasty. The fries were very good- if only I had known there are free refills on the fries- how cool is that?!
Vegetarian options: Veggie dog or burger are on the menu“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“We had the best chowder which was loaded with crab and scallops and split a crab sandwich. It couldn’t have been better. So glad we stopped here instead of at the crowded place further down the bay with long lines and a few picnic tables. We had yummy food and a view“
“I just had the best taco of my entire life. It was rabbit sausage with a salsa macha and persimmon. The tortillas were delicious, the sausage was plentiful and juicy, and the salsa macha was the right amount of hot and flavorful. Sooooo good.“

“Very much enjoyed my time at the casino bar and Grill. The bartenders were very kind and Fantabulous at their job. The tamale pie was awesome. Love that it was a place where locals go. I felt like I was back in time when the days were Grandioso.“

“Plenty of seating. Tables were clean. Good service. We ordered the fish and chips, prawns and chips and onion rings. The fish was extremely bland. Fries were good. Prawns were really good as were the onion rings. We enjoyed the view. Probably won't be back as there are way better places in Bodega to get fish and chips.“

“The Tides Wharf is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at whenever we are in Bodega or driving through! We love the fish tacos and the lemon bars from the bakery! We love sitting along the waters edge and watching the seals!
Dietary restrictions: My son has developmental disabilities and doesn’t like spicy food or his food to touch and they were able to make it just like wanted… he had calamari, shrimp and a burger!“

“The food here was delicious; I really have no complaints taste-wise! The only issue was the price. Everything seemed a little too expensive for what we got. Everybody at the table enjoyed their dish, though. Other than pricing, the restaurant had a great beach atmosphere and amazing service. Just know that their menu is seasonal, so you may not be able to get everything seen here. I recommend Costal Kitchen if you're staying at the nearby resort!“
