“The food was very good. One person had to flag staff down because she ordered a dish which included chicken, there was no chicken in the dish. However, a side of chicken was provided, we wish sauce was also supplied. Once our food arrived to the table, we saw our waitress once. She disappeared, we needed water, napkins. But like I said other than the mishap with the chicken mole the food was great. There was a wait of an hour. Shame on me for having a May 10th birthday. Take it from me this place is worth the wait

“Fire…that’s what my 10yr old granddaughter says to say when things are really cool and delicious. So Firehouse Cafe is Fire 🔥 and I have to say my Chicken Cobb Wrap was off the charts delish!!! It was huge and had to take half of it home. It came with fries and I ordered the seasoned fries that were like a steak fry and cooked to perfection. My mom and Dad eat there all the time and love it. Dad says oatmeal is the best and it looked creamy and came with fruit, brown sugar and raisins. Mom had Cobb salad and it was so huge she couldn’t finish it. Everything was fresh. The waitstaff was so attentive and for being so crowded I was shocked how fast our food came out. We wanted for nothing except a couple of “to go boxes” and that was it. The only and I mean only thing I would say would downgrade a 1/4 star would be it’s a bit noisy when they wash the dishes up front and that is the worst of it and can be over looked cause the food and service are so fire. It’s really great to have a family owned neighborhood breakfast and lunch place that has something for everyone and when you’re there you are treated with kindness and you are really cared about. Absolutely amazing. The presentation was top-notch, and every dish looked as good as it tasted. You can tell the kitchen puts effort into every plate. I was especially impressed by how reasonably priced everything was—quite a surprise in today's economy, where dining out often feels expensive. The service was another highlight. “I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.

Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.

Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!“

Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts. “This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.

I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.

“Had a tasty experience at No Toro Cafe this morning! Brought my family to enjoy some great food! We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). “The cafeteria is a standard food hall with lots of seating and tables.

The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.

Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.

“I had not been to IHOP in a while. Stopped in while waiting to pickup a family member. Steady parade of customers observed while sitting near the cashier.

Ordered a discounted 55+ senior breakfast and substituted (my favorite) protein pancakes for the basic. The plate was very warm and kept the food warm throughout the meal. Eggs overeasy and crispy bacon. All cooked as ordered. Pancakes were a smaller than regular plates. Still, plenty of food.

Jose took care of everything I needed during the meal. Helpful, efficient and kept the table from being cluttered.

Parking was easy and everything, in and out, was clean and well maintained.

Stop on by when you have a chance. Lots of upgrades are happening.“

“We always seem to get the same waitress and she's on point. Always kind, anticipate your needs and checks on you appropriately. We always go on a Saturday and it is busy and she juggles very well. Love breklakfast here, but food got one less star because the lunch not so hot. I ordered fish and shrimp. Just stick to their specialty, which is breakfast. Get the seafood at a legit seafood house.
