“I have only had takeout from this restaurant, so it's hard to speak to the atmosphere. But, with how delicious the food has been the two times we have ordered, everything deserves 5 stars! The gyro plate is out of this world! Everything is so fresh and their tzatziki is scrumptious! I always eat an entire order of grape leaves myself! YUM! They have wonderful specials and buy 2 deals, too. :)“

Reached out and promptly received a call from Carla she was great with giving all the information of everything that is included with booking with them, right off the bat I loved speaking with her she was super friendly even with just speaking over the phone and very nice and friendly when we met to confirm details. everyone in her staff was very friendly. Banquet hall is beautiful in itself, food was amazing we had so many people compliment on how good the food is(mind we we hadn't tried till day of event) we booked because of Carla

“This food was so authentic and flavorful and reminded both my husband and me of the best meal we shared on a trip to Jordan 5 years ago. It was located a little inside a street market area. It is clean with authentically middle-eastern ambiance and music, with plenty of seating. Don’t let the condition of the surrounding neighborhood scare you off. It’s worth the trip! Plus the worker was friendly and brought us out a baklava.“

“Fantastic food with lots of gluten free options. We had dinner here prior to a show at the Belasco. The steak fries were so good and so much food I could not finish. Inside there are 3 tables and a counter with seating for 6. Lots more tables and chairs outside on the sidewalk with shade of an awning.“

I’m always craving their mazeh plate (especially in the sweltering summer, it’s so refreshing and tasty). I swear their smashed olives made the world stop the first time I tried them. Im OBSESSED with their torshi! I legit think about it several times a week.

Honestly everything is good- chicken, potatoes, sandwiches. Barbari bread is out of this world and I always get a few extra slices.

Great beverages too- albaloo spritz and Al’s Palmer are yummy and refreshing.

They have several desserts I’ve been meaning to try but the ferni and sholezard are too good I can’t not order them lol.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the perfect casual spot to catch up with friends.“

“Clean, fresh and flavorful food - Cornish hen kabob plate and tabouli salad- was quite a nice surprise and delightful experience nestled in the heart of the Garment district.“

“The family and I decided to stop by and grab Mediterranean food and my husband brought me by his spot he has been going to for 1 yeah or+ years. Upon entering you get greeted by the sweetest owner and staff. The menu is quite extensive and has variety of things from kabob plates to wraps; then burgers and vegetarian options. I ended up getting the lamb and beef kabob plate with hummus and rice. I also got a side of falafel and some fries to share with the family. The hubby got the beef kabob plate and we shared with the girls. Portions were quite filling and more then enough for our family , hummus was so good. Everything is fresh and house made to the sauces that come with it. The garlic being some of my favorite. This family owned place serves really good food and made sure the family was fed and happy. Definitely recommend and absolutely coming back.“

Which the Permited kitchen actually is the chefs home adding the extra layer of hospitality, unlike anything else . The from Scratch Dinner experience offered a variety of different cultural foods from Palestine, Summer shared stories with us about her culture , history, and her upbringing. Making the Food so much more special, knowing that is made with love and it's her form of resistance against oppression that she offers to the world . 20% of the proceeds are donated to Palestinian families, who are experiencing extreme hardships due to the Ongoing G3n!cide in Her Homeland. Thank you Chef summer, for welcoming us into your home and feeding us .“

“Food was excellent. You can taste the quality of ingredients and I mean everything from the tomatoes to the rice was delicious. The tortilla had a bit of a burnt taste to it. Would love to see them upgrade it to something with a little more rise but the wrap portion was massive! 2 burritos in one. Amazing customer service, they go out of their way to serve customers…they get it. Will be back!“

“What a blessing it was to stop by here. What started as just a day to look for dresses, we were amazed to find this place!

Not only was the food absolutely delicious! But the owner welcomed us with open arms. Everything fresh, and made with love.

Coming from San Diego, it was a treat to be feel like we were “home”. You all have to try this beautiful business! You will savor each and every bite.

“The food was really good, and the prices for decent. When we got there, it was only my friend and I. Though as the day progressed a lot of people came and went. The service was excellent and the server as well as what I think could have been the owner or the manager keep coming and asking if there was anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to go and eat.“

“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. The restaurant was light, bright and clean. I totally recommend this restaurant.“

“It was my first time here, the place looked clean. The young lady at the register was super friendly and courteous. I ordered the lamb chop plate as well as the chicken Kabob plate. The lamb chops were very tasty and tender. The ONLY thing was that the rice and lamb chops were very salty. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my food, it was just too much salt. I'm willing to give this place a second chance only because I love lamb and they are close to me. The pros outweigh the cons and hopefully next time it won't be salty. Will keep you posted“

“Making the most out of this Covid-19 situation for pick-up. Order was secure, exact, and made fresh. They were backed up as when I first got there they were a little short staffed as The Friday Dinner rush was starting, but they kept their cool, their extra hand showed up, and they did well. Just make yourself visible so they got your name assuming you pre-ordered for pick-up. The short wait will not disappoint. And they definitely didn't forget my white sauce - always my biggest fear as it's truly the essence of this place!“
