“First things first. I grew up around the area so this shopping center is very familiar to me. About this Chinese food joint, I'm 30 years old and ever since Im able to have a memory I can remember eating this Chinese food. Of course it has gone threw it's ups n downs and of course it will have drama out in the parking lot do to it being in the area that it's in. But back to this joint, I've seen many food spots come n go from this center but never has this restaurant been in trouble of shutting down, sure once in 30 yrs they must of had a bad grade for one reason or another but I can tell you for sure is that the food is exactly what you expect from a fast food Chinese spot. Noodles are thick and juicy. Fried rice is as fried and juicy as you expect. Prices have gone up like everything else in life. Back then I remember 5 dollars got you a 2 side combo. Now it's around 7ish bucks a 2 side combo. Recommend the chicken on a stick with sauce. Like I said I've known this place as long as I've known Compton swapmeet but thats gone already and this spot is still here. Don't let a few Asian immagrsntd spoil your Chinese plate remember all races have attitudes and this place has real Asians working there. Let me just add i have never known the real name of this spot and never cared or bothered on knowing it. Those that know this place simply know it as the Chinese spot on Atlantic that's how good it is. like I said it's been open since the 90s so a bad review from new customers really won't cover the thousands of happy belly's like me. I'm heading there tomorrow as a matter a fact. I'm also a fan of it's sister spot on Rosecrans got started way after this one but same style same people same service same deliciousness!! Not a paid actor nor will I be compassionated for my review. Just glad this place is still around.“

“First, they bring out a small bowl of salted, roasted peanuts to snack on while you peruse the menu. The egg drop soup feeds 3-4 people. It’s huge. The dinner portions are massive. The service was absolutely 5-star and fast! We were encouraged by the fact that most of our fellow diners were Asian, and there was a steady flow of traffic. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. It was a seamless experience.“

The vibe was classic and nostalgic: red carpets, framed press clippings, a very cash-blessed Buddha at the entrance, and servers who move with the quiet efficiency of a place that’s been doing this right for decades.

We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the fried pork chops with jalapeños — both excellent. The noodles were perfectly chewy with a subtle smoky wok flavor, not too oily, and generous with chicken and vegetables. The pork chops were addictive — crispy on the outside, tender inside, with just the right kick from the jalapeños.

Service was kind and fast. Portions were generous. Prices reasonable. There’s something reassuring about a restaurant that isn’t trying to be trendy — just consistently good.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lee's BBQ & Boba Chinese Food. I was thoroughly impressed! The flavors are absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared perfectly. “just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. “Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. “The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.“

“Incredibly fresh, not greasy, lovely wood detailing in the dining room. Had the chefs filet which was tender and amazingly black pepper with onion. Also the black bean shrimp was fantastic with bell pepper and chili.
