“Cruda was a fantastic spot. I was excited to try the camarones culichi. I was so thankful for the waitress that helped us and let me know that the culichi was a bit spicy that day (usually it's not that spicy) so I ended up skipping it and getting the shrimp tacos. So ask your server if the culichi is spicy before ordering. I don't do well with spicy. The ambiance was very neat - love the neon sign. If you know you know! ;) Overall, great place a little pricy but ask for the specials if they have any. we got double the oysters because they were having a sale. Solid place.“

The tacos arabes were a result of Lebanese immigrants to the area and boy are they delicious. I came here later on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy and it was pretty chill. Just a few other people around me. The folks here were friendly and helpful. I ordered:A taco arabe especiale- their signature taco with their marinated roast pork on this soft flower tortilla. This was topped Oaxacan cheese and slices of avocado (especiale). There was this chipotle sauce on top of everything. The sauce added some smokiness to an already great flavor and texture profile. I really liked that flour tortilla. Quesadilla de flor de calabaza - zucchini blossoms with melted Oaxacan cheese inside a blue corn tortilla. Love corn and I love this. I missed the chance to go from the last time I came by. Many other taco vendors also recommend this truck for goat birria tacos.We got some goat birria quesatacos, labio taco dorados, which were lips, asada vampiro, and of course, gotta get consome. Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. Dipping in the beefy, hardy consome, game over. I've never seen beef lips before, so I gotta give a try. It got the texture of beef tongue, also quite delicious. Like any other taco trucks and vendors, service is always impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and supportive to other vendors. I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again. The best birria tacos!!!“

“Been coming to this place for years at least twice a month. The tortas never disappoint. I've placed phone orders and they never get it wrong unlike other places. Their customer service is good. In my opinion, it's the best tortas in Los Angeles. However, my only critique is the fact that they are extremely stingy with the napkins and even worse, with the salsa. They give 2 napkins and 1 salsa per torta. If you ask them for more salsa they charge extra. Apart from this, they only accept cash. We are in 2024 they should be accepting card or at least Zelle/Cashapp. All that being said, I'm still a loyal costumer who will keep enjoying these delicious tortas but that wants more napkins and salsa lol“

They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“

We knew it was good when people we're ordering for the next day already. She has a very good variety of things. They had so many different tostadas, their tacos were so good. The location is a lunch truck there are chairs and a little table where you can sit and eat your food. They also have take-out and they're there every day as far as I'm aware. All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!“

Seriously I bet this place starts engines in heaven every day because the Kearny Asada burrito I ate could’ve been 12 feet long and I would’ve eaten at all. I really enjoyed the sauce is too I picked up a good old Mexican Coke to wash it down I love that they take cards because I rarely carry cash. The way it was perfect I only had to wait about a total of six minutes which means that everything was cooked super fresh the packaging was fantastic I absolutely love these guys I would follow them wherever they go. There is no seating area but they have a self serve table full of salsas and toppings to prep as you need. The lady taking the order is very friendly, very patient, that is very important to me. The tacos are small in size but the amount of meat inside the taco is decent. I recommend the buche, suadero, lengua and they used to have tripa but i was told it was not selling as much so they took it off the menu unfortunately. I've had their nachos and they fry their own tortilla chips and it's very delicious. This is definitely my new taco spot.“
