“If you are one of those who likes to enjoy something quiet and where you can breathe tranquility, this is your place. The attention is wonderful and the owner is charming. I recommend it 100. Oh by the way, their specialty is micheladas, you have to try them, you'll love them.“

“This past weekend, I had the chance to visit Mirate without a reservation. Given it was Coachella weekend, I imagine it's usually tough to get a table here without a wait. Right from the moment we walked in and were directed to the bar area, I felt like something special was about to unfold. The environment was both open and lush, creating a sense of bliss similar to the feeling of being on vacation. The drinks menu was impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the La Soñadora, a clarified milk punch, out of the two I tried. We ordered five dishes, and four really stood out. I would definitely order the pork belly tacos, kampachi aguachile, jalapeño cornbread, and the baby gems again. We were too full to try the churros, although we wanted to. Our server was wonderful and played a big part in making our afternoon at Mirate a 5-star experience.“
“This is a very cool place. The food is delicious and the service is spot on. They have a motorcycle theme, and they have motorcycles on display, they have a store on premises to got swag. They have a tattoo parlor and a barber shop. It's really a cool place to go.“
“Agnes Restaurant & CheeseryIt was not yet noon. I finished mailing documents at the El Monte post office and wanted to find a place to eat. Suddenly I thought of Pasadena Old Town, which I often went to when I was studying. I hadn’t been there for a long time. The car drove into Old Town and finally found a roadside parking. The toll was an old coin-operated type. I didn't see coins during this trip, and even banknotes were rare. Fortunately, there is an app on the toll that allows you to pay directly. , quickly download the app and pay with a credit card. You can only park for 2 hours, so just browse around as you like. The restaurants in Old Town are completely different from what they used to be. I didn’t know any of them, but I happened to see Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery, a cheese specialty store with bright and clean windows. It was small and elegant. It seemed that it also had a restaurant. When I walked in, I saw a variety of cheese and red wine. Immediately I intuitively chose Primento cheese omelette and cappuccino. After a while, the dishes were all served. They were also small and elegant, which is unimaginable in Los Angeles, which is famous for its big wins.Primento cheese omelette is a refreshing salad next to a yellow egg roll. When you take a bite of the salad, you can never describe it as "refreshing". It is thick and thick, the viscosity of the salad oil is very high, and it also has the heavy taste of traditional Western food, regardless of the saltiness. , quite delicious. The egg rolls are well-cooked, and the crispy shell is filled with rich cheese. It is very fragrant and thick, and has a bit of spiciness. It is different from the egg rolls eaten in other restaurants. It is a paradise for cheese lovers. After that, I walked around the store and saw a lot of cheese and red wine waving at me with a smile. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy them this time. After leaving the store, I felt that my stomach was still empty, so I went to look for food again. After noon, the store started to get busy. Let’s try it for dinner next time.“
“Always good. It's just always good. Great environment, relaxed but it you want to be fancy you'll still fit right in. Good service, great drinks, good food. Superb people watching. Everyone's preferred first date spot. If you arrive early you can visit the garden and say hello to the chickensParking is always the worst so be prepared to pay to park whether you park in a lot or valet just be aware that the valets are going to park your car on the street same as everyone else ?I wish they were open in the morning for coffee, even if it was just a little cart with simple coffee and pastries only.Parking: Parking is always the worst so be prepared to pay to park whether you park in a lot or valet just be aware that the valets are going to park your car on the street same as everyone else ?Everywhere in the vicinity is like that, the curse of a cool neighborhood. And also the city rezoned the parking and reduced the numbers of spots to maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of what there was and made huge unnecessary red zones everywhere, but that's another story ?☕“
“Really delicious food. Tiny outside eating area. Valet parking, which is good because this isn't a neighborhood where you'd like to be walking around at night getting to your car.Kid-friendliness: NoWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Cute little bar in the neighborhood! As a fellow yelper said, a great place to do before going "out out" if you know what that means. Neat, modern, kinda dark, good mix of people. Come for the drinks, stay for the interesting people you might meet. This unassuming bar was a pleasant surprise and I'd come back again.“
“Great place. Wide variety of Craft Beer from local highly rated breweries such as Green Cheek (one of my favorites). Service from all staff on point, always willing to assist with beer related questions, if not too familiar with the craft life, Stephen is always helpful and pleasant. If you prefer something off beer, the sake margarita is a must.“
“Went here for the first time in a while, bought a bunch of drinks for my rugby teammates and even though they never paid me back, I still had a great time. The old fashioned was really good, service was great, the inside looks amazing. 10/10 would let my teammates mooch off here me again.“
“1st Tryout After Seeing Rave Reviews. They Serve St Menu Only. Tae (A Bridge Over Paddy & Fields) / Yang (A Lotus Flower In The Mud) / Saeng (Life Begins) / Dae (Sometimes Nomadic) / Wang (Remain In Between) / Wang (Remain In Between) / Byung (Finally Realize) / Jeol (Wait For Another w Doubt). Beef Short Ribs Stand Out. Overall , It Was A Very Good Food & Enjoyable Experience.“
“Woah, such a cool place! Super awesome that it is dog friendly, has great food, alcohol, wifi, and a bunch of outlets around the area if you want to do some work. I came here with my bf and we stumbled upon this place by chance because all of the other coffee shops were packed with people and so we ended up just walking around. We just walked up to the parking area and asked the guard if there were any coffee shops nearby with wifi and outlets. It just so happened, he pointed at this bike shed behind him and said he thinks this place has all the things we were looking for. We were skeptical because there were just a bunch of motorcycles behind him so we were confused. We decided to check it out anyway and this place has easily become such a hole in the wall, great find! Service is amazing and they made us feel like it was home. Food was so good! We got the margarita pizza, the zucchini fries, and a beer. I would 10/10 order everything again plus more if we had the chance to come back. Lots of dogs coming in and out with their owners, so I was very happy about that! My pup, Benny, loves this place and I bet he would love to come back as well.“
“What am amazing space. The picture here does not do it justice. The menu is creative and everything was delicious. The drinks are primary Gin and Whiskey based and were strong. Definitely not for the weak at heart. I appreciated all the attention to detail. It's probably one of the most beautiful places to dine in LA.“
“ButtonMash is the epitome of a gamer's paradise blended with delicious food and drinks. From the moment we stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere was palpable, with the sounds of laughter and the clinking of glasses mingling with the cheerful beeps and boops of arcade games. Our experience at ButtonMash was elevated by our incredible waitress, Victoria, whose warmth and charisma made us feel right at home. Despite the bustling crowd, Victoria ensured that our needs were met promptly, adding an extra touch of magic to my birthday celebration. The menu at ButtonMash is a delightful fusion of mouthwatering dishes and drinks, perfectly complementing the nostalgic ambiance. Whether you're craving classic comfort food or innovative culinary creations, there's something for every palate. But what truly sets ButtonMash apart is its impressive array of video games and pinball machines, transporting guests back to the golden age of arcade gaming. From iconic classics to modern favorites, there's no shortage of entertainment to accompany your meal and drinks.Overall, ButtonMash exceeded our expectations in every aspect, from the exceptional service to the delectable fare and endless gaming fun. Whether you're a hardcore gamer or simply looking for a unique dining experience, ButtonMash is the ultimate destination for food, drinks, and play.“
“This is literally the funniest and fun beer bar I’ve ever been to,but I find myself addicted to their Caesar salads they find themselves addicted to my poor sense of humor. I find myself addicted to tipping them more. They find themselves addicted to inviting me more. we formed a perfect relationship, but I will tell you the service is great they’re extremely friendly and the food quality is incredible. This isn’t dive bar food. They have a really great area for outdoor seating right on the corner and they have a number of sandwiches. I’d like to try. They also offer vegan options, but the number of craft beers here are exceptional and I find this place so pleasant“
“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“
“Our first time to this beautiful restaurant . We tried the tasting menu! WOW was it amazing. Loved learning about the wines. Had the featured drink of the week by Finn. loved it. It was garnished with a petite flower. My only regret is I got full and couldn't eat it all. Thank you to Matt our server for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. The lobster pie was so creamy and delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender.“
“This place is great for a big group hang out or celebration. The food is amazing and drinks are super good (and strong). Very affordable as well. The person who took our order was very friendly and attentive. Overall, my first experience with this place was great and I'd go back again.“
“Quality, presentation and hospitality are beyond excellent and over the top! Super delicious, super friendly. You're gonna get the full treatment here like you would in Japan. The atmosphere here felt like an upscale but really casual place that's good for every occasion and large groups. We can’t wait to come back and try their tomahawk steak!“
“This is a retro yet super trendy neighborhood bar that offers strong craft cocktails and some Italian bar food bites. The drinks we tried were all super strong and tasty. The food is good as well but keep in mind that it's fairly small portions more meant as snacks. The atmosphere was top notch! It's pretty crowded even on weeknights, so you'll have to hover a bit to snag a stool or table at peak times. It's pretty loud and small so maybe not the best for groups.Parking: Try surrounding residential streets“
“They have Karaoke 3 nights a week and they have a great selection of cocktails and drinks. Beer is a bit more limited but still good selection. Alex is always a great bartender and makes delicious drinks.Parking: Not much parking. You can find a spot on the street for free.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly“
“Cool little bar to watch a game & grab a drink. We also ordered some chicken nachos & they hit the spot. The parking was a little tricky, but we found parking on the street (not sure if there was additional parking in the back somewhere). I enjoyed looking at their wall art - very LA. The service was good too!“
“One of my favorite restaurants in LA. The food is consistently great, the bar program is creative, the service is friendly, and the vibe is chill and fun (especially on the patio and at the bar). Unlike almost all restaurants serving small plates they do not make you order everything at once or rush out the food, so meals here feel luxuriously relaxed. You can't really go wrong with the menu but in particular do not miss the boquerones y mantequilla, which is a brilliant dish.“
“We went on Saturday night around 9pm, cocktails were outstanding!! Delicious and balanced! Great prices and there were 2 people attending the whole place but it was not too crowded, we ordered fries with steak and the meat was very soft, we'll definitely come back , lots of street parking!“
“Super cool bar I would have never found on my own. Met some friends here the other weekend. Good cocktails, and they serve food too. Was here on a Saturday night at ~10pm. The crowd was good, it was filled enough, but still able to get seats at the bar. Liked it so much, came back again the next night!“
“Met Anderson Paak the last time I was here, but I’d already dubbed this place my favorite local spot long before I danced with my idol under the disco ball.Strictly vinyl. Great cocktail menu.Only negative: their digital branding needs work. Kinda wish they’d hire me to curate their social media. ?“
“Nice Mexican restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA. The restaurant had great ambiance and attentive service. We had an assortment of vegan and vegetarian sides, including flautas (made vegan), beans, rice, and fingerling potatoes. The dessert options included vegan sorbets and vegetarian churros.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options with a clearly labeled menu. Many of the Vegetarian items can be made vegan.“
“Terrific restaurant to get Japanese street food. The staff is very friendly and provides great service. The food is made to order fresh. The grilled vegetables are all very good. The forbidden rice bowl had an amazing array of flavors throughout.“
“This is a great little bar. Lots of beers on tap (50+) including many California craft breweries. Pool table inside. Great heated outdoor space. Ping pong, foosball, and boardgames outside. Not a lot of food options (chips, nuts, giant pretzels, etc.) but there was a decent food truck right outside when I was thereParking: Seems like plenty of street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Patio seemed plenty wheel chair friendly. Inside was was a bit tighter but possibly ok.Men's room was super small... Probably not wheel chair accessible. Not sure if there was another option.“
“The food is very inventive and unusual combining ingredients you would normally not think of. So delicious it makes you want to come back for more. I would eat here a few times while I'm here. We came here last time and returned again. We will be back.“
“I was as skeptical as you. And yes, I was blown away. Love Hour is deserving of the hype, deserves your dollars, and will leave you satisfied while you eat or remember the best burgers and hot dogs of your life. We went on a Thursday, late night. Ordered a double burger, hot dog, and honey fried sandwich with fries. Burger and dog were so dang good I want to cry. Beef was so crispy, the bun was perfectly packed and never fell apart, the home made sauce hits like a unicorn. And the hot dog? Let's just say it's what you dream ball park dogs are like. I was not crazy about the chicken sandwich. In absolute and relative terms it fell flat compared to what else is offered at the resto. Come here!!“
“I celebrated my birthday this weekend at The Famous, Bianca one of the bartenders was amazing.! Great customer service.! Including the owner, as I planned my party he communicated with me And made sure everything was good. This was my first time. I am definitely going back highly recommend this place.“
“We really enjoyed our experience here. In fact, I have shared with several people since then how much I enjoyed being there, and the fact that it was the best meal I have had for sometime. We had the pork chops and salmon. In particular, we felt the meals were very tasty, well presented, and the carrot cake dessert was unique and simultaneously light and decadent. The service was also excellent. Our drinks were regularly filled, and someone was always checking in with us to make sure all of our needs were fulfilled. The only thing I would change is better signage for parking. It was unclear which parking lot was specific for the restaurant, and because the road is one way, we both, in our separate cars, ended up having to go all the way around the block before figuring out precisely where to go. I had to call for specific instructions, and the person with me called me for further instructions. Better signage outside, and also signage for precisely where to once you get out of your car, would be helpful. Also, since you can only park on one side of the parking lot, signage for that would also be helpful.“
“Kinda fell in love with the place last night. Saw a perfect gig (Rose City Band), the staff was lovely, the music was on point and exactly what I'm into, the record store's great, it's all damn great and I'd make it my second home if I lived in LA.“
“One of my new favorite bars in LA!! Came here after attempting to eat quarter sheets pizza, and it did not disappoint. Bartender was friendly and great at memorizing orders. Ambiance was friendly and warm all around. Loved that their drinks are different, with latin influences which fit the atmosphere. These people deserved their spot in the top 22 best bars in LA“
“This is literally the best bar in LA!! If you’ve ever watched Cheers, Crawford’s is where you go and every body knows your name. The best food, THE BEST SERVICE ❤️❤️, the best pool play in town hands down. Glad there’s no alcohol here so I can stay longer!!“
“Food is amazing, fresh and looks incredible. It will get pricy to get full so be prepared to order more than you think. Service was also wonderful. Our only complaint was the epic volume level of the restaurant. Something with the acoustics but we were pretty much forced to shout at each other to be heard. Also outdoor dining didn’t look appealing being right on Hyperion with a ton of traffic in your face.“
“I really enjoyed dining at Edendale. The beer selection was above-average, the food top-notch, and the service was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Missy, was efficient, friendly, and, dare I say, playfully flirtatious. Her charm made this meal memorable in just about every way. I'll be sure to visit Edendale when I'm in this part of town again.“
“This is my favorite wine bar near Hollywood.I was told by a friend who lives locally that this is a great wine bar that tourists never get to visit. The food is delicious, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish, and it makes me smile to see each customer having a wonderful time, making the meal enjoyable.I came here by myself, worked on my computer, read a book with a glass of wine, went on a date with friends or as a couple, everything was a wonderful space. All the wines taste extremely delicious. The atmosphere is also very good. The staff's customer service is also very polite and kind, and I definitely want to come back! The white wine I ordered was so delicious that I bought it as a souvenir ?There is also a wine shop attached, and if you can buy what you drank at the shop, there is also a large selection of organic wine produced in California, so I think you can choose and buy there.Anyway, it's a very nice wine bar! It's my favorite! Please go and try it!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no elevators or anything, just sofa seats.“
“Funky hip joint in a unsuspecting neighborhood. Saw some celebs in the wild here but won't mention names so people don't go hunting them down.Nice big open space to meet with friends or make new ones. The menus for food is magic but not the food. Had the chicken fingers and man they were delicious! Only down side is the parking. Take the gamble to drive or just take an Uber and be responsible. Overall a cool spot!“
“Loved the underground vibes. It was so dark and exciting just getting to your seat. Music was cool but not too loud, which was great for connecting to your date via witty banter and conversation. Sitting at the bar made you feel like the bartender was there just for you. Drinks were balanced, well presented, and delicious.“
“Was visiting my daughter who lives in the area. The food and service were great. Need more local craft beer options. Had the signature burger. Came hot and exactly as ordered. Family loved what they had to eat. Brussel sprouts were a favorite. Drinks were tasty as well. We will make a point to visit each time we're in town.“
“Historical Pasadena restaurant that some people forget about. I hadn’t been here for years until this evening. I’d give 5 stars, but my pork chop was dry and little overcooked. Everything else was wonderful, including the drinks. It’s very intimate inside, but as the restaurant fills up it gets quite loud. The patio is covered and heated, but you may find yourself having to talk over the nearby tables or road noise. Valet parking only, $8 at the time of this review. There is street parking available on Fair Oaks though.“
“Close your eyes. Now picture an old timey soda fountain with a mad assortment of pinball machines. Now add beer! Open your eyes. You're at Walt's! Friendly and fun servers, nice selection of brews, hot pretzels, yummy hot dogs, and a nice back patio. Legend has it that Walt's is the former location of the very first Vans Off The Wall store, which is pretty epic in itself. Go. You'll enjoy. We did.“
“I'm a frequent visitor to this restaurant because I appreciate the quality of the food and the excellent value for the price. From the flavorful Angry Chicken to the delectable Kimchi Fried Rice, every dish I've tried has been delicious, with generous portion sizes.“
“Had a great time at this cozy sake joint. Our group tried 3 sakes, all of which were top-notch and showcased the diversity of flavors sake can hold. The food was also great — we had the chicken katsu sando, the okonomiyaki, the salt and pepper tofu, and the kurodai otsukuri. The atmosphere is great too.“
“This place is really amazing! Literally 10/10 I would recommend. The food is so delicious, I would definitely recommend the hot beef brisket Ramen bowl !!!! And the customer service is through the roof! The works are always there for anything you need and really fast service!“
“We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!“
“This has been always been one of my favorite bars in LA, but has gotten even better over the last few years with the new patio area. Great selection of beer, wine, kombucha, etc., solid bar food, and the staff is always helpful and willing to let you do a taste of something before ordering. Wanted to also chime in regarding H.R.'s one star review of the bar. We were outside that night as well, and her telling of events is hilariously untrue. She assaulted a patron, threatened a second patron, poured a beer on a third patron, and was finally asked to leave by staff. Her husband also threatened our table despite us not being a part of the kerfuffle she started with the people at the table next to us. It was definitely an eventful night, but the staff handled the situation well given how unruly she and her party were.“
“This den has reasonable estimating and clean environmental factors. My children significantly delighted in and wanted to play there. Additionally, the staff was extremely obliging, cautious to my children, and agreeable. In the long run, I loved everything out there. It was awesome and meriting to be appraised a 5-stars. We would visit again soon!“
