“The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They always find a way to accommodate a request even if it is last minute. For example they took care of me on Saturday when I needed a cake for my son's birthday party on Sunday without any complaints even though I was the one asking late. At the Santa Cruze Ave location in Menlo Park I was told that all I could so was choose from what was in the display fridge. Props to Carlos at the EPA location who even gave me his personal cell to make sure everything was seamless! And the cake was super yummy as well!!!“

“A friend suggested this place to me yesterday so of course I had to pop in to check it out. I walked in and immediately noticed how clean it was. Not only was the owner there, but he was super friendly and told me and my daughter about how he makes the ice cream himself with the help of his wife. I really don't think I've tried creamier ice cream. Was VERY impressed with everything about this place and will be coming back with family and telling friends to go here as well!“

“I love this place! It’s great to get Asian-flavored ice cream. Also their takoyakis are very good too! I like their custard takoyakis and their Oreo one. My boyfriend likes their Nutella one.

The ice cream’s also really great here too. They have a good milk ice cream. I also like their cookies and cream ice cream. They also change up the pairing of their swirls ice cream, so it’s nice to drop by and see which flavors they’ve paired up for swirls this time. I also like how they make the ice cream fancy. You can get a waffle fish on top of your ice cream. Also you can add toppings like sprinkles or Oreo crumbs. And like adding a cherry on top, you can add mini macaron or a strawberry.

The inside is new and clean. There’s not a lot of seating area on the inside, but it’s still pretty popular in the evenings and people just stand around on the inside or outside of the store.

The service is good. I like how you order at the kiosk ordering station. They can take some time to make the takoyakis, but you can watch them make the takoyakis from behind the glass at the counter. Also since this place is so popular you sometimes have to wait for them to make your ice cream too, but I don’t mind the wait because their ice cream concoctions are worth it.

The place is run by an all-women team, and they recommended the Beacon Cheeseburger. I'm glad they did! The burger was cooked perfectly, as was the bacon, and the bread was just the right texture. “I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

Stopped by for some gelato and was really impressed by the variety of flavors, especially the lactose-free (vegan) options. Got to try three samples, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. It can be hard to find good dairy-free gelato, but they nailed the texture—creamy and satisfying without feeling icy or thin.

Service was friendly and efficient, and there was no long wait, making it an easy stop for a quick treat. The setting is nice, though more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and linger.

All the flavors were really nice and you could see real vanilla bean powder, nuts in the different flavors. Pepper did not stop licking till her icecream was done and then was looking for more. “She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All her antojitos are delicious, fresh and never overpriced. Great value, taste and quality.“
