“A lil pricey for a sandwich but very good stuff. Nice fresh sourdough; the bread was soft and had a nice slight crunch to it. The original (ham and turkey) was tasty and came with cheese. I saved half for the next day and it was still delicious. Somehow even better when cold. The crust sourdough dip with warm au jus (roast beef) was amazing. The roast beef was so tender! It was worth it. I also really enjoyed the bacon jam; I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed the bit of sweetness and caramelized onions in it. Really solid! The bread also held up nicely when dipped into the au jus. The cookies are not too bad; I tried the lemon and it smelled great. Taste was good too but unfortunately it was a lemon cookie with coconut shavings inside (which was not mentioned) and I'm not the biggest fan of coconut! The interior is nice and spacious. They are located in an office space.“
“Chill, local-style deli with extremely good sandwiches. I ordered a toasted Italiano. Hella tasty, and the veggies were still perfectly crisp after the drive home. Think I demolished it in under 10 minutes. 10/10 will come again when I'm in the area.“
“Good sandwiches (huge selection), clean, well-priced. Lou’s sauce is great. My one pick point is that the amount of meat / ingredients is small compared to the bread slice. There were at least 4 bites of the sandwich that were almost entirely bread. Either cut the bread smaller or add more filling.“
“Specialty's Cafe and Bakery is a great option for a quick and casual meal. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The cafe offers a wide variety of cookies, muffins, cakes, and pies, all of which are made fresh daily.I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a good meal in Mountain View.“
“Parking: Located at the end of a shopping plaza, and plenty of parking in the middleKid-friendliness: Could be. Does not have many seats. Several tables outside would work on a warm day.Wheelchair accessibility: Likely meets guidelines for businesses“
“The BEST banh mi sandwich I have ever had in the TBread special It was a party in my mouth. The bread was fresh and crusty and all the ingredients in the sandwich were perfectly complemented. I will be thinking about this one for a long time!“
“My new job is near Pops. I've only been there once. There are several people making food. Place your order with them then pay at the window. The food prep people are friendly and well skilled. I had a pastrami Reuben and it was awesome! The price was very reasonable. There were two vegetarians in our group and they both said that their food was very good and it looked good to my eye.Pops has a lot of seating that looks better than just okay but almost all their business is takeout. It feels a little humid inside and maybe that is why.Bottom line? If you're near Pops at lunch time? You could do a lot worse!“
“Due to the rainstorm, I didn't want to go very far for food and opted for the nearby cafe. The Café was open and pretty much empty (understandable because I'm sure most people were working from home instead of trying to drive into work). I ordered the croissant and a banana nut muffin. The muffin, you can request to be warmed which I opted for. The egg, cheese, and bacon croissant was delicious, and I would order again. But I am curious about the other items on their menu, especially when it comes to the latter half of the day. There was a lasagne on there that I'm super curious about.“
“Best experience ever. Manuel is the owner/operator and really helped with with my company’s group order. The order via DoorDash failed and I ended up calling the restaurant direct and placing the order for 12 people to be delivered in less than 1.5 hours. He was super easy to communicate with, the sandwiches/soups were awesome, and it was all delivered on time by a peppy driver Saul :). I love Erik’s deli on my own, but definitely recommend for catering and group orders as well. It also cost less to order direct than via Door Dash. Thank you, Manuel and Erik’s Deli Team!“
“Eric was a real one! Amazing customer service and a really pleasant vibe even when there’s the a big lunch rush. I love to ge the soup and sandwich or salad and sandwich combo. The turkey avo salsa is always a hit. ????The Thai chicken mango salad is also super tasty and a decent portion. ? ?I come back to this place often and I’ll continue to for the great service and amazing food.“
“I often order catering or large orders for work. My orders are always accurate, ready on time, and packed with care. They are also very accommodating of my special requests especially for any dietary restrictions or personal preferences. This is my tried and true place to take care of lunch meetings.Good sandwich options.Easy online ordering.Reliable service.Consistent product.Cookies with a sandwich is always a plus.Great rewards for frequent orders.“
“Really solid lunch place. My go to is usually the roasted beets and goat cheese salad. I recently experimented with their holiday Turkey sandwich and it was solid. All in all I recommend checking mendo farms out if you are looking for a healthy, affordable meal.“
“Nice small place in the neighborhood for sandwiches! Kickin Chicken sandwich was really tasty. The dutch bread had crusty exterior but was one soft loaf. The pickles were tangy sweet and both sour. Service was quick. Not much seating available inside.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian sandwiches on the menu“
“If you're looking for quick lunch or dinner that has clean foods, this is a place to try! The ambiance is light and clean! There is patio space as well as indoor seating. There are sandwich, soups, salads to choose from. My go to is the avocado and quinoa superfood salad. The portion is large and the salad is most importantly very good!!! I love vinaigrette is flavorful and light! The cookies are great treat! Love the ginger and date and hemp cookie! There are great options here for those who are gluten free or vegan. The service is great and honestly the mobile orders give an on time delivery or even ready earlier. This is a great location and will be coming back!“
“Ol man Peckerwood said next time I'm in Palo Alto I should eat at the New York Sandwich Shop, they're the best he told me. Well, I had just dropped off my 17th century Globenstien Flintstaller to the Sotheby's Auction house for authentication and headed straight there. What a place! The sandwich I got was amazing. 5 stars all the way. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Loveeeee the Pee Wee (vegetarian) first time having it so I hope it continue to meet if not exceed my (high) expectations. The sourdough is just perfect, tastes very fresh and not stale or over toasted, just right. Sauce is amazing, it's a French dressing apparently. Vegan turkey is soooo good better than the mediocre "tofurkey" found at Safeway. The purple cabbage added nice crunch and the Swiss cheese I didn't taste. If your not a picky eater yes get pickles and lettuce plus tomatoes! Only thing is it would be nice to have vegan cheese, I would have gotten it just couldn't find it on the menu.“
“I give Sand witch Monkeys a 5/5 stars, because the texture of the veggies and bread are just perfect! The flavors of the bread, veggies and sauce all together are a delight to my taste buds. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who is still skeptical if they should go or not!“
“I love the sandwiches here, and I recently started eating gluten-free. I just had a lettuce wrap club: 1/2 turkey, 1/2 ham, 3 strips bacon, and it's fantastic. Lots of great crunch you don't get in a sandwich, even. Definitely recommended if you're on the lookout for gluten-free options on campus!Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free option in the lettuce wrap“
“Been coming hear for years. Never disappointed with what I order here. They have a good selection of beverages and chips and of course the sandwiches are fantastic.Vegetarian options: Good selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan options“
“Alotta's is a little out of the way sandwich shop that focuses on freshly prepped each day food and a friendly smile and conversation. The presence of this sandwich shop is strong enough that I was recommended this place while flying into San Jose airport. I drove the 25 mins into the quiet streets of Palo Alto to taste the hype. The hype is real. Along with great food there is a Santa Margherita to Porto Fino mural on the wall (attached for your viewing pleasure). I recommend the meatball sandwich and a bag of spiced nacho cheese Joe chips.“
“It was a super hot day and I had just finished a long hike up the hill, I was ravenous and was researching restaurants near me, however, I did not expect to come across this gem of a criminally under represented restaurant. The food was phenomenal and there were plenty of choices in terms of menu items, and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend going here for lunch because I assure you that you will find some sandwich combo you like there.“
“Nice straight forward new sandwich shop and mini Middle East market in town. Really appreciate that there a number of intriguing specials on the menu. I never know what to order, so I usually ask for what's popular. But this case, lots to try on subsequent visits. Woman behind the counter (the owner), very helpful and kind. I'll be back as often as I can.“
“I have been in customer service industry for over 30 years. And i always make a point to recognize good customer service when i see it. I have been to this Subway a few times for their catering service and have been very impressed and pleased with the service we received from Biplov. He is consistently very friendly, professional and great to work with. Thank you for the great service.“
“I had no idea there was a TOGO'S right by the gym. I kinda lumped TOGO's with Subways so I was so surprised at how friendly the workers here were. Upon walking in, we were actually greeted despite how busy they were. We came on a Saturday around noon and there was a long line. Luckily I ordered online and my order was ready when I walked in. I got their new French Dip (filled with roast beef) and Pastrami Dip. Both came with piping hot au jus on the side for dipping. oh my godddd it was sooo good!!! I did not have high hopes but it far exceeded it. They did forget the pepperocinis I added on the sandwiches which I think would've elevated the flavor profile but it was still so good. I will say that it was pretty pricey. Two 9-inch sandwiches with chips and a large drink came out to $45 so that did take me by surprise. But if I were to recommend a sandwich, this location would be on the list because of the service and cleanliness.“
“Had a chance to stop by since it’s been on my list of places to try and was in the area! Had to go with the French dip since that’s their main item on the menu. Ordered a combo and got the onion rings that were perfectly fried. While ordering they ask if you’d like their horseradish on the side if you want an extra kick, and if you want ranch or bbq sauce (which are an additional fee and not made in house). The horseradish was a lovely pairing to the dip and the au jus was pleasant and not too salty. Not sure the bread I got was the same as I’ve seen in the other photos from other reviewers but would definitely come back to try their other items!“
“I absolutely LOVE Lutticken’s! It is my home for karaoke every Thursday night with KJ Anthony! The regular crowd is so welcoming, diverse, fun to be around. They are my second family. Carlos serves up the best cocktails in the area and their whole kitchen crew serves up the most amazing menu. I will continue to come back week after week!!“
“I used to come here pretty often when they were in Menlo Park, and when this particular location was on the other side of the parking lot, but I think this new location is much better for them. The place is bright and filled with natural light. The noise is average and you can see the hustle and bustle of the workers working on both sides of the menu. Everyone is mindful of new customers coming in and they get your food to you quickly! They have options for all dietary needs but probably not too many for plant-based or vegans. Definitely make your way out here before the afterschool rush as you will be met with crowds of teenagers ready to eat and socialize. Definitely one of the hidden gems here on this side of the bay area and a good amount of food food for your dollar.“
