“Noticed the shop driving by, we've never been in one so Hubs and I decided to stop and go in. Nice to have a close place other than the bakery in the grocery store, to get a special cake. We tried the white chocolate raspberry mini cake. First time and cannot say enough ... absolutely heaven! Best cake I've ever had in my life. If you want a very special treat, this is it! Sooooooooooooooo good!“

“Dani made custom cookies for our wedding and they turned out so cute and delicious. She worked with us in the design and it turned out exactly how we wanted. She also went above and beyond and delivered the cookies to the venue on the day of our wedding. We were blown away and can’t thank her enough! Our guests loved the cookies and raved about them.“

“I’ve been wanting to try NBC for along time, recently moved to Santee and this location is very close to my house. I tried a few of their cakes. The red velevet is very good and moist. The carrot one is a little dry and have a giant hole in the middle. I personally love carrot cake but i’d not get it again here. The biscoff and new marble are soo goood! I wish i could choc opt for the balls though. It’s not that bad but i’m not a fan.

I also wish that they have Less icing option available. I love cheesecake icing but it gets overwhelm when it’s too much.

Shout out for the customer service! Visited them twice and received a fabulous service on both visits! This place is my fav when i crave desserts.“

“I contacted The Cupcake Store for a special order and they were so willingly to accommodate me. They were absolutely fantastic. My son who has been all over the world tasting different desserts said these were some of the best cupcakes he had ever tasted. They were a hit with everyone at the birthday dinner and I have already told all my friends about the bakery. They were fantastic the flavor profile and moistness was done to perfection. I will definitely be a returning customer.“

“We ordered 14 cupcakes for a special occasion. 12 chocolate peanut butter and 2 pumpkin spice. The chocolate peanut butter cupcakes are amazing!! Probably the best all around in San Diego, but I would definitely NOT recommend the pumpkin spice. They are extremely soggy on the bottom of the cupcake. I called to ask about them, and they are apparently supposed to be that way. Yuck, who wants soggy soaked cupcakes? Not us. So I would recommend steering clear of those.“
