“Did the hour drive from North county on a Friday afternoon (also called 40 mins prior to ask if they were still serving, as I saw sign on IG stating "until sold out" ) Def. Happy I tried this spot. Their pho is reminiscent of the Filipino "Nilaga" - like a pho-nilaga hybrid and with the chili oil, it hit all the right spot The owner's hospitality was second to none; felt very welcomed and appreciated as a new patron. Can't wait to bring my family to try this spot. Sending this business all the positive and blessed vibes so they thrive and continue to grow!“
“Excellent food and great service. A smaller menu but the dishes are some of the best I've had. We've been here three times and will continue to come back. Highly recommend the stir-fried green beans, Dan Dan noodles, pork soup dumplings and the beef noodle soup.“
“The pho is delicious, especially the steak pho. The price is great for the size of the bowl, I never finish it but I always take it home and eat it after.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian pho is so good, a great variety of vegetables that go well with the pho.“
“So pleasantly surprised by this place! We got the both XLB flavors, a couple of the dumplings, orange chicken and chicken chow mein. The noodles in the chow mein were slightly overcooked but that didn't take away from the flavor. All the dumplings were delicious and the orange chicken was some of the best I've had. Crispy and sweet but not overly sweet. We have picky kids and all of them devoured the food. Prices were fair and we are looking forward to returning! Service was great, waitstaff were nice and food came out quick!“
“Tried this location for the first time. Enjoyed the food and the prices were more than reasonable for the portions. We did a combination of lunches and dinner plates as a to go order and everything was fresh and tasty. Our lunches with chicken was approx 12 each and included rice and a small soup. Soup was delicious!I also ordered their Beef Salad which thankfully they put the dressing on the side so the greens stayed crisp. (I’ve been to many Thai restaurants and they often put it on which makes the greens soggy by the time you get home and no good for leftovers). The flavors were right on.Will definitely return!“
“Excellent service! The food was very fresh and tasty. The drinks (iced coffee and coconut water) were also delicious. They have whole coconuts as well! I ordered a to-go order that was very quick and still incredibly good after getting it home. The shrimp in the shrimp vermicelli was very flavorful and sauteed in a sauce, not just regular cooked shrimp. Very tasty with fresh mint, Lettuce, and sprouts. I really liked the steamed veggies as well, I added a little salt to taste but they were very fresh and a great mix of veggies. The chicken and steamed rice was also good. The prices were very reasonable too!“
“Such a great experience. Best pho in SD. The fried food is always crispy af. The veggies are always fresh and never wilted. The broth is always flavorful and piping hot.At times, the restaurant can get busy and the staff certainly wears multiple hats. Don't let this bug you or pull away from your experience overall experience. I've found it only adds to the fun and is a part of supporting a family owned, small business. The boss lady who is in charge is a great host and always makes sure her guests are taken care of. I haven't found a better pho place in the US.“
“National City & the South Bay area are quickly becoming a foodie paradise. This place is new to me but I really liked their menu options. We had a unique Sushi n Gone roll, some delicious soup & a nice side salad. Come early because parking is limited during peak hours. Family friendly tho they do serve beer. Great staff.“
“Food is always on point and authentic. You can just smell it when you walk in that it’s the real deal. Absolutely love the taro milk tea here! The peanut sauce is the best - they add enough spice and flavor to it. They put effort in seasonal decorations, keeping the place neat, and just the overall atmosphere is nice. One of our favorite Thai places for sure.“
“First time here, but my wife has been here several times (she loves it). This place is quick and they had no problems fitting our party of 10 with no prior notice. We were seated quickly and water was brought out just as quickly. It seemed like our food was brought out right after we ordered it.Eggs rolls were good. I also ordered the Beef Noodle Stew, which was super filling, packed full of flavor, and had a generous amount of everything in it.I would eat here again and I would recommend it to f&f.Kid-friendliness: Plenty loud in here when it's busy so don't really worry if your kids are loud. Cups with tops and small/kid size bowls available.“
“Been here twice already. First time with a large group of friends and another with just the hubs. We didn't have that big of a problem when there were 6 of us. We came before the dinner rush and were seated immediately and were asked what drink we would like. They do give physical menus but if it's super busy, you can just scan the QR code, view the menu on your phone, as well as order through the phone. Pretty efficient, no complaints. The servers are nice too. We really liked the variety of food that we ordered from here. We got the XLB, and it was good. The skin is a little thicker than I like but overall, there was soup inside and the skin didn't break. Oh, and the flavor was good. We also ordered the pan fried chicken dumplings and those were crispy outside and bursting with flavor inside. It was a good plump dumpling. There is chili oil, vinegar and soy on the table, if you want to make a dipping sauce. We also ordered the green beans and that was just okay to me. The bok choy with garlic was crispy and light in flavor, it's almost like a palate cleanser, which was nice. We also had the popcorn chicken and that had a good crunch to it. Another dish we ordered was the fried rice and it actually had a good amount of toppings in it. It just wasn't all rice. It also wasn't oily. We also ordered the eggplant dish and that was slightly sweet and a hint of spicy, from what I could remember. You need some plain rice to eat it with. And my favorite dish would be the mapo tofu. It had that numbing flavor and it had a great kick to it. It's nice that it comes with plain rice but man, you need more rice than what they give because it's nice to soak up all the sauce. I love it. Two other dishes we ordered were the shrimp and pork wonton soup and pork spare ribs with garlic. The soup had a nice clean broth that was packed with sesame oil and white pepper flavor, among other things I tasted in the broth. The dumplings were plump and had a good amount of filling inside. It was also nice to have some fresh crisp bok choy as well. The pork spare ribs were crispy outside and soft and tender inside. Not a lot had bone and I appreciated that. They top it off with jalapeño, onion, garlic bits and that was good with the pork and rice, all eaten in one bite. The prices are a little on the pricier side. But the portions were fair and the flavor of the dishes we've had were really really good. Oh wait, we also have had the beef roll. And my friends and husband have said that it rivals a decent LA version. So I'll take their word for it. I realize that we also had the cumin lamb, which they said wasn't very game, but you can tell it's lamb. They said it was tender and a good amount of cumin flavor. The cucumber side dish was crisp and had a good amount of garlic and vinegar. At least that's what I tasted. We will definitely come back here again and again.“
“Delicious food made with love and care! I love this family owned Thai place. The restaurant is a little cozy so it may be better for take out. The portions were good and the taste was phenomenal! I'll definitely be back. Thank you for your service!“
“Delicious! We got the dumpling and wonton egg noodle soup, the combo egg noodle soup (#27), veggie egg rolls, and fried dough ("donuts"). The donuts were warm, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Egg noodles were delicious and broth for both our soups were excellent.“
“Despite shortage of staff, these family owners/cook/server have been so kind to feed my family with authentic Khmer/Angkorian dishes which I used to travel to Long Beach to obtain/enjoy! I like to continue to support such family who was forced to come to America, like my family, due to unfinished Nixon's war since 1969. God bless them!“
“The menu is varied, descriptive and contains photos of the entrees listed. I was very happy with the basil chicken. We also had spicy Thai noodles and another item; all delicious. The service is outstanding.Parking: Parking is located directly behind the restaurant, off a narrow side street. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible from the parking lot and into the restaurant using the rear entrance.“
“I really enjoyed my experience at Loft 94. It's a great spot in Jamul Casino to get some delicious food. The service there was pretty good. It wasn't too busy because we went on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately it was already dark by the time we got in, but I'm sure the views during sunset would be amazing. The terrace was beautiful with large fire pits, heaters, and comfy couches. The food was great. I ordered the Mazeman Ramen with Pork Belly. We also had the Ouchi Eggs (SO GOOD), the wings, and Shishido peppers. The ramen was good, nothing very unique, but a solid choice. The pork belly was juicy and real fatty. The wings were pretty good and worth ordering as an appetizer. The drinks we ordered from the bar were not the greatest, but cheaper than if you ordered at the bar down in the casino.“
“Best sushi place ever! The food and service is amazing!! everyone is so nice and friendly. our food came out so fast and was soo good. The spicy garlic edamame is the best I’ve had and the Samurai roll was amazing ?? overall the place is so good me and my friends loved it! I recommend everyone to go!!“
“I love Pho. I base the majority of opinion on the strength of the flavor of their soup. The stronger the flavor the less they rushed it when cooking it earlier. The portion was exactly like I like, not too much but definitely not too little. Ingredients were all good except the mint leaves look like there were used. Leaves were ripped in half and looked like it was picked on. Not saying it was but it had that appearance and they should know better. I had mine to go and it was wrapped up so I didn’t look inside. They gave out packets of the hoisin sauce and a packet of fake sriracha 1 each…that equals a loss of a star or it’s 5 easy.“
“I like going to this recently when I visit Jamul Casino. Just know you must be 21+ to enter here. The food is decently priced. If you are a casino player you can get a discount. Portions are decent and the quality is also decent. Since this is a casino, the ambiance is always a bit noisy or loud.If you’re not in the mood to sit down, they can take your orders outside a kiosk stand to the right of the outside.Vegetarian options: Yes. Vegatable options availableKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Inside jamul casino 21+Parking: Parking garage for casinoWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options“
“Absolutely awesome experience! Had a comfortable, clean, casual setting with lovely customer service. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They also have a new discounted happy hour menu which is convenient and yummy! I would 100% recommend to come here and try their food! It is one of favorite restaurants now !I even forgot to take a picture of the food since it was so good.“
“Authentic recipes, great pricing, excellent service, what more could you ask for? they have an awesome lunch menu. I highly recommend you get the soup or salad and for your entree you can choose vegetarian, chicken, beef, pork, seafood Etc and the prices are excellent such a great value.Update: The service is still good even though like other restaurants they are having trouble finding help.Parking: Kind of tight so if In big vehicle try the far end of the lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps at the handicap spots“
“This place is hided gem. We are visiting San Diego for a couple of days. Decided on Chinese food. Ma Noodle delivers so we took a chance. I’m glad we did. We ordered the Yang chow Rice, the salted chicken and the crispy shrimp. The food was great. The portions were big as well. It was enough for at least 3 people. I haven’t had Chinese food this good in very long time. Nothing overly or under seasoned. Great experience. Definitely recommend.“
“Let me tell you why I give 5 stars. The bread for the Bahn mi. Ive gone to waay to many places in San Diego that give you stale bread. Here they seem to toast it on the spot to maximize crispyness.Second, the broth for the pho actually has flavor, unlike most places ive been too.Third, good thai iced coffee. ( i do not personally like their boba) so its perfect without it for me.4th very reasonable prices considering the affects of post pandemic.“
“Absolutely one of my and my wife's favorite places to eat. This specific restaurant, this specific address, these specific employees create a wonderful dining experience.I am always delighted by the speed at which the food arrives at my table, and my wife is always astounded at the speed at which the food then enters my mouth. The food never disappoints. This must be the greatest Thai restaurant in the U.S.Jolly good show.“
