“So today my family wanted pick up stix and I didn't want to get pickup stix due to the odd interaction I had last time I went in. I have been going to this location for years and have never had any issue besides the last visit. There is a cashier that is an older gentleman who refuses to give extra sauce and will literally go back and forth over a couple sauce packets. I am buying for 3 people and the 2 siracha that he said is already in the bag is not enough. I decided oh well it probably will not be a thing today, but unfortunately the same guy today did it again. I asked him what the issue was and he stated that the sauce is in the bag already. I asked do I need to pay for extra sauce and if so I will, he stated no I don't need to then finally agreed to give me sauce. I have never ran into this situation ever at any restraunt where when I am paying for the meal I have to argue and ask several times for a couple extra packets of sauce. It's wild and unprofessional to think you need to argue with a customer over 4 siracha packets.“

“I have eaten Vietnamese cuisine throughout California, and Grandpa Tao ranks among the best. In addition to the amazing tastes, the casual restaurant is friendly and comfortable. Ingredients are fresh, the environment clean and relaxing. I particularly recommend the Pho, the Rice Vermicelli (try it!) and the Shaking beef. You'll like it.“

“I have been craving good Thai for a few years. I have tried some not good and some okay other places. Thai Time is so good. The aromas of the spices tortured my already empty stomach with the enticement of good food to come. I have fallen in love with the food and customer service. I will be back as my budget allows.“

“This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“Never had a bad experience here. The staff are always super friendly and make you feel welcomed and take good care of us. This is our favorite no-frills, reliably good food, hole in the wall spot. Our son loves the food here too! Highly recommend“

“Its was really good im not going to lie to you. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the bathroom was really clean to. The food was really delicious and flavorful and it was made right there on the spot. All the food that was ordered was made fresh and piping hot so I can tell there was no microwave involved. The two ladies that work there were really nice, polite and provided the most excellent service. Will be returning.“

“Delicious local breakfast spot in east San Diego. Warm feels, good eats, and plenty of parking.

My dad’s favorite meal is breakfast and do they for sure have endless choices of good brunch food.

My favorite? The seasonal dishes. Like the pecan pumpkin pancakes. So good I still drool thinking about it.

“Incredible Italian food, perhaps a bit higher priced than the location and decor begets. Regardless, I have been a many, many time repeat customer for decades. I have never had a Chicken Caesar salad anywhere else that approached how good theirs is. The Sicilians White, BBQ chicken, and their marinara sauce are all on point.“

“It's so nice to be able to order for delivery without having to use Door Dash or Uber Eats or some other delivery service. I'm a truck driver, so I don't have an address to deliver to. But my pizza was delivered right to the truck. This pizza is fantastic. The crust has the perfect crisp. Plenty of cheese, and they put the perfect amount of each topping that they don't overpower each other. The price is very reasonable. I'll order here anytime I'm in the area.“

“The food was typical Mexican fare rice beans chips etc and is okay. The place is always very crowded and so loud you can’t even hear yourself talk. They also had a guy singing which really added to the noise, with this being a Mexican place the guy was singing Elvis, the Beattles etc which seemed odd. I personally would do away with the music it just didn’t fit in.“

“Love, love, love El Cajon Bistro! It really is the best breakfast in town. Almost as if the North Park brunch scene found its way to east county, and I'm so happy it did. I always get a Benedict, the poached eggs are always perfect and the hollandaise is satisfying. The salsa that came with the breakfast potatoes was SO GOOD. I will be dreaming about it until I can have it again. My grandma and I always come here whenever I am in town. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered 5 Ground Beef Kabob Skewers , 5 Chicken Tikka Skewers, 1 chicken cream chop, 1 Shawarma Wrap, Rice, Hummus & Salad. Served with Pita Bread, Grilled So when I got home I find out there is only 4 Ground Beef kabob and 4 chicken Tikka And that was so embarrassing for me because I invited 5 people for lunch That was really bad experience“

“Great food. My favorites are the fried zucchini and the chocolate peanut butter shakes. My complaint: I’d love a half order of fried zucchini or order by the piece! A full order is just way too much and half of it or more just gets thrown away.“

“I love the quality of food at this place and the deal they have for lunch it’s $13.49 for a Personal pizza with one topping salad bar and self serve soda. But they also carry my favorite Happy Dad seltzer so that’s why I stopped in. I didn’t see it but asked for it. They have two flavors, grape and fruit punch my favorites. The salad bar is great. It has pepperoni and croutons tomatoes black olives, cheese, raisins, carrots, bacon, bits all the dressings and different pepperchinis and jalapeños and everything so you can get pretty good stuff on the salad bar. The pizza came out pretty quick and cut into 6 slices almost like a thin crust but great has a bit of a kick to it. Really good customer service very friendly, fast and clean place. Highly recommend this establishment!“

“I was having new tires installed across the street from Silva’s and I asked the clerk at the tire store if Silva’s was pretty good - he said, “Fantastic!”. I ordered a machaca burrito with a side of spicy pickled carrots and it was served quickly. The ratio of seared pork to eggs was perfect with the right amount of grilled bell peppers and onions. The flavor was better than the machaca I make myself and I consider myself a connoisseur. I’m going to make it a point to go back and try some of my other favorites.“
