First he never offered us water, the coffee were cold, twice we had to ask to bring us decaffeinated hot coffee, instead flour tortillas he gave me corn tortillas, another thing, in 20 minutes that we got there he gave us the receipt, he never asked us if we want to order another thing like any dessert or something , with that attitude we decided to not order dessert.“

“I’m use to the pho spots in little Saigon Garden Grove and this place is very reminiscent of that. The square tiles, the mismatched tables and chairs. The atmosphere feels authentic which excited me for the meal to come. Ordered the pho special and definitely did not disappoint. Very friendly owners. Very fairly priced matched with quality Vietnamese comfort food. Not much more you can ask for.“

“This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“I have been going to Gyros House for years, and have never had a bad experience. It's my go-to for gyros, and (in my opinion) the best option in the Parkway Plaza food court.

The food is reasonably priced and amazing quality. The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned, hot, and tender. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. The pita is soft, warm, and flavorful. The sauces are perfect. The portions are big and very much worth the cost. The french fries are crispy and light, always hot and perfectly salted.

The customer service is incredible. The man who always makes my gyros always has a smile on his face and puts a smile on mine. Same with the woman who sometimes works the register. They are kind and helpful.

“It's so nice to be able to order for delivery without having to use Door Dash or Uber Eats or some other delivery service. I'm a truck driver, so I don't have an address to deliver to. But my pizza was delivered right to the truck. This pizza is fantastic. The crust has the perfect crisp. Plenty of cheese, and they put the perfect amount of each topping that they don't overpower each other. The price is very reasonable. I'll order here anytime I'm in the area.“

Prices are also affordable. 15$ for carne asada fries is reasonable considering my the portion. Way better than Tapatíos who charged me 20$ for the same. Definitely recommend El Cotixan. Green salsa is mild and red is a little spicier. Great experience overall!“

“Yi Sushi Review

Today I stopped in at Yi Sushi for a quick bite and ended up staying for an experience! I was greeted by a young lady with such a kind spirit, which set the tone for the visit.

They had plenty of specials and happy hour deals that immediately caught my attention. The Shrimp Consomé soup intrigued me right away, and there was also a Salmon Kama special that sounded amazing. I had originally planned to get my food to go, but since the salmon was dine‑in only, I decided to stay—and I’m so glad I did!

I sat at the sushi bar, where the chef served each dish directly to me, fresh from his hands. Let me tell you, that Shrimp Consomé soup was chef’s kiss! The flavor, the texture, and the crunch of the patty with the green onions on top—it was absolutely perfect. I could have easily gone for a second bowl.

Next came the Unagi, served as a pair. Fresh, rich, and so satisfying. Then came the star of the night: the Salmon Kama. I didn’t know what to expect, but it did not disappoint! The salmon was grilled to absolute perfection—tender on the inside with just the right amount of char. Honestly, all it was missing was a side of rice, which I’ll make sure to order next time.

I was so full by this point that I had my Crunch Roll packed to go. But before I left, I couldn’t resist trying a piece of Yellowtail tuna. It was exquisite—soft, delicate, flavorful, and not fishy at all. That’s definitely on my list for my next visit!

“Extremely generous portion sizes. My mom had the watermelon salad which was unique and refreshing, i had the french dip which is what i always order and is how i judge restaurants, and it was great. fries are amazing and the au jus is rosemary infused which made it delightfully fragrant but not over powering. and my mom’s espresso martini came in a chilled glass which is a nice touch. the bread was also hot and very good. oh plus excellent service! and i like that you can hear the live music but it’s not so loud. highly recommend (:“
