Not to mention, the prices are fantastic, especially for LA. While we didn’t love every dish we ordered (learned we didn’t like the ‘gravy’ dishes very much), and it hasn’t replaced our other favorite options in Whittier and Van Nuys, still a good spot.

“It is a Togo vegan place with delicious bento box at amazing price. My mom who is vegan always asks me to stop by whenever I am visiting her to grab her a bento box. They do take credit card (used to be cash only). They also have a lot of frozen food for sale.“

“You will never get a sub quite as lovely as these. I don’t know why they’re so good, maybe fresh bread and fresh ingredients IDK but Turkey extra chili is my fave!! Mom loves Milanesa and the fried sides are YUMM too! I learned how to make my voice heard at the old little market. The big construction men at lunch time would be shouting out their orders. I was 11 years old and had to shout my order too!! Been a patron since 1982!!“

“I had a bowl of pho at Pho 99 and it was amazing! The broth was rich and flavorful, the beef was tender, and the noodles were just right. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and cozy. Highly recommend for pho lovers!“

“Came here pretty much when they opened for the day, there was already some people inside for a Saturday. When we finished eating, the restaurant was barely half full?

Food wise, the bbq meats are pretty decent cuts for what you pay for and the big shrimp we ordered is actually pretty good. They didn't have a real fishy smell, which is a plus, knowing some places just serve what they have sitting out.

There is a sauce bar with appetizers near the front of the restaurant, the bar itself is already baked into the price, there isn't any extra fee. There is also a self serve sherbet freezer with three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and rainbow, as of writing this.

For the non grill foods, the soup and cold noodles are decently portion, definitely should split it up with others so you don't overfill. The popcorn chicken can be ordered as a half order, and to my surprise, it actually is pretty decent in terms of texture and juiciness, only downside is I wish they used some spice in the coating to give it a bit more oomph.

Overall, if I am ever in the area here, I might consider coming back when I'm looking for AYCE.“

“This is my cousin‘s restaurant, but even if it wasn’t, I still love love, love their food.This family knows how to cook! Handmade tortillas and sopes like they do in Mexico. Their beans are better than my mothers, but don’t tell her that lol I’m a big believer that if the beans aren’t good the rest of the food isn’t good so I always start with the beans!“

“This place is definitely a staple, we have been coming here ever since I can remember. They open at 10:30am. My family and I went for a graduation celebration. They always have great selection of pizza readily available during bunch of lunch (buffet). They also have Spaghetti, veggies, smash potatoes, salad bar and their famous chicken & mojos. Their service is also on point, different employees kept coming around offering if we needed anything or more plates. The arcade section is also fun for kids!!! “This place is more of a drinking bar. I tried this place out 2× and food was nasty so I never went back again until recently my friends wanted to go there to drink so I tried it the 3rd time. The restaurant is a bit old but look past that and enjoy the food and service...the lady server and i believe her husband is the chef but both are very attentive.
