“The food is creative and delicious! Dad and mom work the front of the restaurant and they are absolute gems: attentive, friendly and they make the dining experience special and fun. The food options were tantalizing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! The experience would be even better if the interior looked more like earlier photos (less cluttered and more stylish).Vegetarian options: There are some options available.Parking: No dedicated parking, street parking only.“
“Small, cozy cafe, very friendly service, very good coffee, very abundant and tasty dishes, huge and delicious biscuits... The best of all? Prices are very affordable! I will be backParking: Parking behind the restaurant with plenty of spaces availableKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere“
“Went to brunch at this place a few days ago. It offers a good price, to quality/quantity ratio for breakfast and lunch. We sat outside on a partly sunny day, and they allowed us to have our dogs by the table.Mimosas were good, and I had the French toast while others in my party had the Alameda and classic eggs Benedict. Everything was very well executed if somewhat unadventurous. This is the type of place I would take my parents to who want a comfortable experience, quality and straight forward menu“
“Don't let the unassuming shop front fool you into thinking this place is anything short of extraordinary.Fresh ingredients, thoughtful and creative recipes build on strong foundations. What a gem! Soups scream quality, the broccoli and cheese is one of the best I've had.Hard to go wrong here!“
“Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes.Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat.Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself!Update: Feb 11, 2024Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side.Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!“
“Its been a few year since I was last here. Not a bad spot. Their signature coffee was pretty good from what I remember. Also the food options are good.I use to work in the building they are part of, so I frequented this spot. Not a bad option for coffee or lunch.“
“I go to Angel's for the breakfast burrito with bacon. It always delivers, esp. with some hot sauce. The building and interior need some TLC, but if you look past that you'll discover a gem with quick, friendly service. Grab coffee from Catahoula across the street.“
“Thank you all so much for helping me reach over 9 million views and getting me into the top 10% for business and restaurant reviewers in the country. If you'd like to see more, like, follow, and share. Here's the review:This place gave gave me so much nostalgia. It was a nice cafeteria style space. You can see into the kitchen as well as the waitresses station. They have lots of positive messages on the walls, and they remember your faces when you walk in.I could tell the people there have been coming for years.I ordered the peanut butter waffle and substituted the bananas for strawberries and no whipped cream. I had scrambled eggs with cheese and the veggie sausage since they had it, and Im allergic to pork. Otherwise, I would have asked them to just remove the meat from my order. To drink, I chose the hot chocolate and forgot to take the picture before I began drinking it. You missed out on the perfect whipped cream mountain she put on it for me, and the sprinkles made that hot chocolate moment, my happy place. ?The eggs and sausage came out first. They tasted like normal eggs and cheese. Nothing over the top, just comfort breakfast. The veggie sausage, I could tell, was the real thing when I passed my fork over the top. It had this nice crust that only veggie sausages have. It was well flavored for breakfast as well.At some point, my waffle came, and oh boy, was it big!!!! The peanut butter they use is a but sweet, so keep that in mind for those who may need to reduce their sugar intake. But paired with the strawberries and the hot syrup, it was ?! The waffle was freshly made to order and had those nice crispy parts on the sides. The waffle was able to hold up to the moisture of the toppings as well, which is always a bonus.A couple of things I noticed when people watching the staff is this:1. They all enjoy working there2. They dont wash their hands enough between touching the cash register and your food3. They dont have a drop plate under the drink dispenser and spill liquid on the floor, which is carpeted. I can only imagine the number of germs that spread. And seeing ine waitress pick something up off the floor and toss it out without washing her hands after, worried me.Improving these few things would make this place even better than it is. The staff were all friendly and helped each other. They communicate well and just need to wash their hands a little bit more often to keep germs from spreading. In the meantime, check out the images attached to my review to see what I had. And if you're looking for a small town cafateria vibe where people gather for the good vibes and breakfast that tastes like home, this is your spot. It's not fancy and over the top. It's home.? enjoy!Vegetarian options: Veggie sausage option, and you can swap out some things to make it how you want.Kid-friendliness: There were children here, so I am sure they have children's favorites ?“
“The tea scones are the best! I like mixed berry. It taste like a scone/biscuit. They sell in some grocery stores but they run out fast so I go straight to the source.I had the blueberry pancake today and it was delicious! One was plenty! Not thin but not too thick either. The service was great. The restaurant is always busy with guest but I can always get a seat or I take to go. Must try scones. ?“
“Always a good meal at good prices with nice people they are back for indoor dining now the pandemic is getting behind us.its a busy place at timesFeatures: No mask required its up to you.they wear mask for safetyParking: They share a parking lot so it gets dicey at times“
“Oh, my, god...I still can't get over how good this place was!! This has got to be the best Thai Brunch I've had and there wasn't a single dish that we didn't like! Did I mention, they have bottomless mimosas for $22 and you can try different flavors with each new refill I highly recommend bookmarking this place for your next brunch!* Curry Puff* Thai Tea Pancakes* Stuffed French Toast* Spiced Maple Chicken & Waffle* Mama Pad Kee Mao* Kaeng Karee Gai Tod* Plumlicious Bacon* Bottomless Mimosas* Bloody Mary“
“Good place to get breakfast/brunch without breaking the bank. The biscuits were hot fresh & soft on the inside. Corned beef hash and croquettes were also very tasty. The plain white rice could use some type of sauce/gravy but also pairs well with either the hash or croquettes.“
“Rockridge Cafe has been in business for over 50 years serving breakfasts and lunches. They are open 8am to 2pm daily and over the years have served millions of customers.we had a fabulous breakfast. I had the Hemingway: poached eggs with lox and avocado served with cheese over delicious bread. My wife had their Alaska Omelette.“
“It is a very large place, very good atmosphere, the food is delicious and healthy, the portions are quite large, the price is quite reasonable, and the service is good and the food usually does not take long and the atmosphere is quite calm, kind of romantic dinner but for breakfast.“
