“HOW FUN! I love to play and to drink and this is everything out together in one. We celebrated my bf’s bday and had a bunch of kids with us. We worked directly with Ash, the manager, who set us up with games and even got us our own tables. The kitchen put out food fast and both adults and kids were happy. I love the soyrizo nachos. Excellent hospitality! Also love me a good photobooth :) wide selection of beers and cocktails - something for everyone!“
“As a retired San Francisco Bay Area NIGHT CLUB & LOUNGE ENTERTAINER, this quaint and neat Irish Pub is one of a kind !! .. .. .. I've seem em ALL, and this place folks, is truly a great place to share a drink with locals and out of towners, tucked away in the Benicia Tannery Building, with outside seating (smoking area) overlooking the Carquinez Straits .. .. AND ~ The owners are absolutely the BEST .. .. "A Must Place to Go" .. ..“
“The place was fun :)There was a little concert with a lot of instruments inside and that was giving quite a vibe to the whole experience.Great choice of beers - also Guinness+ cider! - and interesting choice of food. Chicken wings were very tasty. I saw on the menu that they do the desserts with beers, which should be quite an experience.“
“My friends and I rented out the private room for a joint birthday party, and it was awesome! The service was great, the room was all ready for us when we arrived and we just bought a couple of beer pitchers so people didn't have to keep going to downstairs for drinks. We had a great time, we will definitely be back!“
“Amazing cocktails great atmosphere . Hidden gem in Richmond FOR SURE!!! Make sure you have you id yes they card no mater of age. Take it as a compliment lol but don't give the door man a hard time about it he's just doing his job!“
“Typically neighborhood bar. No food served. Basic fun place. Ppl come here to watch the games, have a great time, and live their life. I'm not too impressed but it will work while I wait for a friend. I'm early for the Halloween Party“
“Kensington Circus Pub is such a hidden gem & most certainly one of our favorite neighborhood places to tuck into. It's not only a fun place to watch a game with friends, but also just for date night to cozy up to the bar for comfort food, a cocktail or freshly poured Guinness, and conversation. Love the British pub feel! Food highlights: corn fritters, thick cut fries, the clam chowder, Caesar salad, Shepherds pie, fish tacos, tuna melt, B.L.A.T. (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato), and thick cut pork chop to name a few. As you can see, we've been eating here for a few years - the food is always consistent, fresh, hearty portions, and honestly there's such a variety it keeps the overall ordering experience just so fun! The servers make you feel like family and the ambience is lively, especially when sports are on or live entertainment (check their website for the event calendar). We recently stopped in on a weekend evening for dessert, drinks, and music. They have what's called "England's most popular sticky toffee pudding" with a tagline that reads "so good that we have it flown in"...omg they aren't joking! It's so delicious - warm, in a bath of butterscotch sauce with vanilla ice cream and whip cream...yum! Can't rave about this community joint enough - with indoor/outdoor seating, kiddo/dog approved, ample areas for street parking, we'll see ya again for tunes and toffee pudding soon!“
“I love the positive reviews and I guarantee that anyone who loved the food in the past is going to love it even more this year. Super talented chef, amazing menu and remarkably hard working staff. Do yourself a favor and stop in before a show“
“Renewed interest when I saw their Instagram post about allowing friendly dogs inside. My friend was dog sitting and took our dog over to the confusion of the workers who said there was just a dog brawl the week before and didn't know the owner had made that post. They let him stay though, and our dog were the only one, so she got all the attention. Today there is one dog at the bar and two out on the parklet. My husband and I were third in line to "seat ourselves" at 6:45pm on a Friday in February. The couple in front of us left and we were next because the party of 4 wanted a booth. We were seated at the end of the long copper table meant for groups. We have been here with a larger group before. The only annoying thing about this seat is that some people who are impatient hover above you while they wait for a table. The waitstaff is efficient. They take your order and clear your table quickly. The check is paid with handheld machine and it's now a cashless restaurant. There are four tvs for sports lovers. Three over the bar and one in the "dining area." There are a few parklet tables, and some tables in the windows, which open during nice weather. Very convenient location across from Rockridge BART. Otherwise you can pay for street parking or find free residential parking. There are two unisex restroom, one hidden in the dining corner, and the other towards the kitchen. There is a full bar and happy hour. You can sign up for their email list or social media to keep up on events, but they regularly have karaoke and trivia. If you walk by, they will have posters on their windows. We have been here only occasionally over the last 10 years of living in Rockridge. Today we had the deviled eggs, which come six in a plate and are well formed. The cheeseburger is juicy but too bready for my liking. The fries have that double crisp crust trend that showed up some decade ago for no good reason, but ketchup helps everything. There is a caddy full of all kinds of condiments for the table. We also had the Caesar kale salad, which is very big. The chicken cubes are juicy but the crispy garbanzos aren't too cohesive. We asked for a takeout box and it was compostable and came to the table for us to self pack. Kid friendly so there were some kids during our visit. Neighborhood bar and grill. Nothing mind blowing but a good staple to have in the area. There is wifi available, check the menu on the wall for the password.“
“I finally took the time to come to Cornerstone Berkeley. It was surprisingly empty when I came in, with only 4 other customers inside. I had the Avocado Burger with fries and 2 beers (Cornerstone Blonde). They tasted great. I also liked the 4 TV hanging above the bar area, where you can watch several different sporting events. When I went to the restroom, I noticed the concert area for the live shows. Rather small for a concert area for my tastes, but if I ever see an event to my liking, I will try to come. The staff was friendly and helpful, big shout out to them. I will try to come at a later hour on my next trip here, just to see the larger crowd that come here.“
“My friends and I tried it for the first time and loved it. Friendly staff, quaint and we loved the food! We all hamburgers and sliders. I'll be back. There is not many tables to eat at if you have a larger party but they have a long inviting bar that you can dine at.“
“I didn't like the cocktail they made me, but if you want simple drinks or beer, it's a nice, lively spot. Lots of college kids, of course, since it's right by UC Berkeley. I like the fire they have indoors, plenty of outdoor seating, too.“
“I had been a costumer many years back when they opened up in Point Richmond, it was ok then but they have improved, later I discovered the one in El Sobrante and I really enjoyed the food and those hazy IPAs, Rochelle is a find lady I recommend going, the only issue that I don't like is that they are closed on Saturday evenings“
“The service was good. The bartender was nice and he be pouring up like it's no tomorrow, lol ....I felt like I was at cheers but nobody knew my name. I went there for poetry night. It was a lil nice hole in the wall and I would go back but the police was pulling everybody over as they left so idk if thats how they get down in Vallejo or if they really call they self "cracking down" idk but I really enjoyed the poetry. Queen Nubian was performing there and she's really good, definitely enjoyed her and the other artists as well.“
“Food and drinks were good, the old fashioned was nice, nothing extra special. The Brussels sprouts were the best I have tasted. The ambulance is more of a rustic old style. Dimly lit. But if that's what you like then you'll like it.Very close to Berkeley University, so lot of young crowd around. Difficult to get parking, so plan ahead.“
“Among my favorites. Self-proclaimed oldest brewpub in America, although that status from 1986 may not be true. Good food, nice beer selection in an old place dripping with boho charm. Alas, their sandwich menu selection no longer includes a stellar muffaletta.“
“We live in Pinole and I'm so excited to have discovered this awesome neighborhood pub! The vibe is super laid-back in the food is outstanding. They have a full bar and a nice selection of beers on tap. The brussels sprouts were amazing and the burger really hit the spot, not to mention the wedge salad was to die for! We will definitely be coming back to this awesome spot.“
