Our server, Toni, was accommodating about all of our reasonable ( and less reasonable) requests. We sat in a corner quite close to our neighbors but it wasn't too bad. The sound quality in their space makes it so you don't get bombarded but a lot of loud clanging. It's pretty upscale and the food is Michelin level amazing but also has a chill vibe.Goes without saying, we will certainly be back.Vegetarian options: The veggie options are just as amazing as the non. “Went to brunch at this place a few days ago. It offers a good price, to quality/quantity ratio for breakfast and lunch. We sat outside on a partly sunny day, and they allowed us to have our dogs by the table.Mimosas were good, and I had the French toast while others in my party had the Alameda and classic eggs Benedict. “I am an out of towner and was looking for a place to catch the Eagles game. Some friends told me about this bar so I gave it a shot. George & Walt's is in a great are and the place was very diverse. There were plenty of TVs airing all sorts of games and pool tables. The bar is cash only (set to change soon) with tons of drinks specials. The bartenders were friendly and quick to check in. I was happy to have so many food options at this dive like bar. Everything came out delicious and the service was incredible!“

“My friend and I visited Addis Ethiopian Restaurant on Friday, 2/9/24, for an early dinner. We decided to order the Kategna as the appetizer. It was crispy and delicious. For the main course, we got the Meat Combination Platter for Two. It came with 3 Ethiopian meat specialties such as the Doro Wot, Sega Wot, and Sega Alicha along with Injera, Ayib, Boiled Eggs, and a mini Salad. All of the meats were beyond flavorful and bold in taste. My friend and I finished the entire platter feeling full and satisfied. For the drink, I had a glass of Ethiopian Honey Wine. It was sweet and I enjoyed it very much. Everyone inside the restaurant was pleasant. The customer service was attentive and lovely. The indoor ambiance was decorated nicely with flowers and candles at each table. Overall, Addis Ethiopian Restaurant is a great spot to satisfy Ethiopian food cravings. I recommend coming here.“
“The Afternoon tea on a Tuesday is a Berkeley hidden gem. A three tier stand of sweet and savory tea treats with a teapot of loose leaf tea is presented with warmth by the long-time staff. They treated my daughter who turned 21 with kindness and generosity and it was a lovely, relaxed afternoon. It's also a fraction of the price of other tea establishments. Highly recommend.“

“A couple of the bands I'm in played here (Sakful and Chino's burning).The Pa system is awesome.The engineer (Paul Shortridge) is very knowledgeable and has the house tone dialed in for any band expressing their style on stage.I was so impressed by the place I started going to the open mic nights on Mondays.And to top it off, the food is freaking awesome!This place is a must if you like good original music, great good and a super friendly atmosphere.“
“We came here for a business lunch, we had reservations at 11:30am. They were quick & easy to make online. It just opened, so it wasn't too busy, but you can see they get packed closer to 12-1230pm. We sat right at the window table. The view was amazing. The service since we walked in was great. Everyone smiled & greeted us. The waitress was great at her job. I really wish I had remembered her name. She interacted with the table, and it was a pleasure to have her serve us. The bussers made sure our plates were cleared & were on top of refilling drinks.We had the prawns & Bruschetta bread as appetizers, delicious! “I finally took the time to come to Cornerstone Berkeley. It was surprisingly empty when I came in, with only 4 other customers inside. I had the Avocado Burger with fries and 2 beers (Cornerstone Blonde). They tasted great. I also liked the 4 TV hanging above the bar area, where you can watch several different sporting events. When I went to the restroom, I noticed the concert area for the live shows. Rather small for a concert area for my tastes, but if I ever see an event to my liking, I will try to come. The staff was friendly and helpful, big shout out to them. I will try to come at a later hour on my next trip here, just to see the larger crowd that come here.“

Victor was my server and I told him about my allergies and he was very accommodating and attentive.I ordered a burger with onion rings and ranch. Omg I’ve never had the most crunchy soft yummy beer battered onion rings in my life. I was blown away with the fry and the flavor.The burger was cooked perfectly the a medium rare and was everything I needed.The table offered vinegar, a few hot sauces, (I unfortunately cannot remember which hot sauces) with salt and pepper.The bathroom was clean, well lit, had soap and paper towels.Thank you for the hospitality!“
