“Service is quick. The grab and go salads are phenomenal. Variety of beverages in their fridge, everything from juices, seltzers, protein shakes, teas low calorie options. Be sure to check out their specials and soups. Had the chicken and vegs soup because i was under the weather and it was like a home styled chicken noodle soup (without noodles). Great low calorie option. They had a special on chicken marsala and it was soooo good.
They have a large menu to chose from for different dietary needs.

“This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.“

Go for the Ararat kebab plate- it has everything and is plenty food for 2 people. Excellent baklava to top the feast off. “We were very very happy with our dinner. A group of 8 we all did the 7 course tasting menu and everything was delicious and nicely presented. Couldn't be happier with the value for the amount of food we got. Cocktails were delicious too. Service was friendly and they even remembered that we were celebrating birthdays. “This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! Last night I was particularly appreciative of the excellent care/service they provided to a vegan member of our team. They had thoughtful menu options and cautioned against cross contamination in cooking oil, depending on how strict the person is with their diet. All of this was done discretely, kindly and supportively while also giving everyone else at the table excellent service!“

“The food was delicious and so were all of our wines, but unfortunately the servers didn't know how to handle an allergy, which left a bad taste in our mouth about the whole experience. I'm writing a review in hopes management will take training their servers about allergies more seriously! We arrived at 5 PM, so when the person who brought our food out wasn't able to understand what we needed regarding the allergy, there were plenty of staff available that could have helped out. Instead we asked that person 3 times, and then 2 other servers. Only one of the three staff members correctly informed us of the type of nut and understood that we needed new utensils to avoid cross contamination - it was a big distraction to our otherwise enjoyable meal.“

“I go here often and keep waiting for it to be a bad experience — it never is. Only pointer is to put in your order if you’re in a crunch for time, but trust it’s worth the wait! I’ve tried a couple of their sandwiches and all are delicious. My favorite is the cappicola. Can’t recommend enough!“

“I’m moving out of town and this is what I will miss most. They have done a major overhaul of all their offerings over the last year and this is a major to go hub for all types of food in the area. I’m so glad to live across the street. The Smashburger and banana pie are to die.

Other restaurant owners should send a couple of spies over to observe and understand why a great and friendly restaurant such as Zut! Is always busy with happy customers.
Parking can be an issue on weekends due to that Berkeley area being so popular, but
go for it.“

“A few of my friends came here for a cool Tuesday night out. The vibe here is amazing! Music was bumping! Food was great! Hookah was flavorful and the staff was were knowledgeable with great recommendations! Definitely a must visit! I asked how the weekends were and I was told it gets quite busy so show up early. I ordered the shaksuka, which tasted great, but I didn't feel full afterwards. My friend ordered a brunch plate with eggs, lamb, salad, and potatoes and it was quite ample and delicious. I think I'll get that the next time I go there. This was my first time to this venue, and I definitely want to go back.“
