“I go here often and keep waiting for it to be a bad experience — it never is. Only pointer is to put in your order if you’re in a crunch for time, but trust it’s worth the wait! I’ve tried a couple of their sandwiches and all are delicious. My favorite is the cappicola. Can’t recommend enough!“

“The food was good, but there was a significant delay with my Snackpass pickup. My order number was incorrectly labeled, causing the food to sit on the counter for over 20 minutes until I spoke up about not receiving my food three separate times. No compensation, just an apology.

Update: I've came back multiple times. I love the food, and I haven't had an issue since! Would highly recommend.“

“How did I not know about this place? I saw it pop up on Uber Eats (new to me) so I ordered the lamb and beef meatballs with rice, lightly pickled beats, tabouli and some included arugula. Faboo! It's very fresh and a very generous portion. The optional hot sauce is not to be skipped if you like a bit of heat.“

You can eat outdoors or inside comfortably.
Other restaurant owners should send a couple of spies over to observe and understand why a great and friendly restaurant such as Zut! Is always busy with happy customers.
Parking can be an issue on weekends due to that Berkeley area being so popular, but

“Fantastic restaurant with a world class view! I had the Mediterranean appetizer (hummus etc.) and the steak. Both were delicious. Seated at the window with a nice view of the Embarcadero and Ferry Building. Wine was great. Service was perfect. The Hyatt next door has a bridge connecting to the restaurant entrance.“

The beef was very tasty and tender. The rice was perfectly cooked and salad was fresh and crispy. My wife had the chicken kabob plate, which came with rice, salad, naan, hummus. The food portions were great and the price is amazing, and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere to enjoy lunch. Every childhood event, you’d open the tray and there would be the pomegranate chicken and the yellow rice. Nothing better. “Oh my goodness do I love this place! We gave Milos Meze a try the first time spontaneously late last year when we were walkng by on our way to another restaurant. But it was so good that this time we returned intentionally for my birthday. We don't even live in SF, but it was worth the drive into the city for the great flavors and fresh ingredients and warm and professional service that Milos Meze provides. Favorite dishes for this vegetarian are the flakiest filo crust spanakopita I've ever had anywhere, the light as air zucchini fritters, the bright and herbal creamy tzatziki that comes with both dishes, and the nutty romesco-like dollop of hitipiti (I think it's called) that comes out complimentarily with pita before your meal. It's such a treat to eat at place as delicious as this that also offers vegetarian moussaka with the creamiest eggplant ever (not some frozen patty, duh) served with a crisp fresh heirloom tomato salad. And the wine list is very good too! My date loved his glass of the San Martino Pino Grigio, and the light red from Greece that our server recommended for me was perfecto! Chef's kiss all around!
And the outside sidewalk seating on a beautiful warm day was a plus too!“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“I don't remember how many times i've been here lol. Whenever I was too lazy to prepare lunch for myself, I usually bought gyro in this place and then went back to my lab/class. The price is affordable for Berkeley Standard (i remember it was around 12 usd before tax).

This place was also in UC berkeley north gate before, so it was close to my building. Then the one in north gate was closed. However I didn't mind to go back and forth from my lab to this place in southgate, my lazy ass didn't mind to go downhill then uphill lol.
And yeah, this place also offers halal food, so that's a plus“

“Ordered catering for a bridal shower of about 35-40 guests. Wish I had taken photos because the food came packed and presented to serve with beautiful printed cards for each dish. Every item we ordered -- lamb, chicken, cauliflower, roasted potatoes, squash, salad and mezza plate -- was phenomenal. All the guests loved the food and appreciated that there was something for everyone -- vegans and GF guests alike. “Falafel corner is a great spot to grab a quick lunch . Be aware that Its not on the corner it's in the middle of the block . The shape of the falafels here is unique , they are not balls but more like small pattys . The falafel is always hot and very fresh . Crispy on the outside and a fresh green look on the inside . The tahini sauce and the hot sauce they use are very tasty ,and the veggies are always crisp and fresh . The staff is alwAys friendly .They have good prices . “Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. “This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.“
