“Our first time at the Pony Room, for my birthday. I googled it and saw all the great reviews,. so we decided to check it out with friends. So glad we did! What a hidden gem for these foodies. Great variety on the menu for everyone and large portions that are very shareable. I had the Hamachi Crudo, two of my dining partners had the burger, which was amazing but splittable, another diner had the lamb popsicles, he said they were wonderful, but needed a little more spice. We all shared the pear salad, I loved the lavender dresssing. We also had the focaccia, so good! Our Italian friend said it was good but should just be called bread as it's not traditional focaccia. I loved it, but I tend to agree as my family also owns a traditional Italian restaurant. We shared teo bottles of wine, which are a very good value according to my ex-Somm husband. We will absolutely be back, and bring our friends. Stewart, our server was exceptional and made the experience even more awesome. I gave ambience four stars because although the entire place was absolutely beautiful, the bar, the entry courtyard and the outdoor patio we could see from our table, our actual table was in a corner of the plastic lined patio, which took away from the total ambience for me and felt a bit claustrophobic . I'm sure as soon as it warms up they will take the plastic away, but for me, next time I would request to sit inside the bar area or somewhere more open. Overall a wonderful find, you'll see us again soon!“

Great vegetable crudités that looks like you are pulling vegies out of a garden but taste delicious (just don’t eat the stems, they are a little bitter) ? From offering great wine recommendations to food recommendations, we enjoyed our night with spectacular food and service. He was very attentive and helpful when it came to picking the right options of food for us.

This restaurant goes above and beyond to showcase their hospitality to guests. From the time you check in to the time you walk out, you experience great service and attention. From the small things such as resetting our table to cleaning after every dish and checking in on us, to serving delicious food, this restaurant is one I’d recommend to friends and family over and over again! “We came to Sbicca on Mother's Day, and they absolutely reminded me why I love this place so much. I already go often, but this visit made me appreciate them even more. They initially gave us one of the smaller patio tables, likely assuming our party of five included younger kids but I showed up with some tall teenage boys. The staff quickly and accommodatingly found us a larger table. At first, it was half in the sun and our group was melting, but when a shaded table with an ocean view opened up, they graciously let us move. I was so happy to have a comfortable and beautiful spot for my boys. The food was delicious, the service was quick and flawless, and the whole experience was exactly what I hoped for. “Rare Society is amazing! It is a special place for dinner. It is pricey, but the price reflects its quality. We had a family dinner, six of us. We started with the rolls and bacon, two orders of each for the six of us. We ordered The Associate meat board to share and fried chicken. We added au gratin potatoes, pickled onion rings, and broccolini as our sides. We finished with butter cake with sour cream ice cream and bananas foster cheesecake. We shared everything and absolutely loved every item!

Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.

The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

Today there were 6 Packers fan and the rest of the other team fans had to listen to the loud Packers game. Also, one bartender saved seats for over 2 hours for people who didn't show up. That is not right for everyone who shiftwd seats to accommodate the regular guests. Not "shore" if we'll be back during football. I hope Pete figures it out.“
