“My family loves to dine here!“

“Our dinner last night at IHOP was outstanding. I believe the difference was the service we received from Benjamin. We were greeted with friendliness and a smile as soon as we walked in the door and were seated promptly. Beverage order taken and filled quickly. All options and substitutions we addressed and accepted. The food was delicious, exactly how we wanted it, and served in a timely manner. Benjamin made sure our drinks were always full. He was really on top of everything during our meal making it a very smooth experience. We have gone to this IHOP many times over the years and typically the service is adequate. Unfortunately the previous time we had gone it was terrible. So much so that we addressed it with the manager another day. They offered to comp us a dinner, but that wasn't what we wanted, just better service. We decided to give them one last shot before writing them off. Last night was the complete opposite in the best way. Just service that went above and beyond any expectations. Benjamin really made all the difference and he is the reason will continue to go to this IHOP.“

“Bostan by Grandma is all about attention to detail. The decor is immaculate, and the food presentation is equally beautiful.

The restaurant feels alive. No two tables are alike, every corner is decorated, and live flowers are all over.

The menu has a mix of traditional Armenian plates and Americanized offerings, along with an extensive coffee list.

And it really feels like everything here is meant to be shared. Not just because the portions are large, which they are, but because the presentation inspires conversation, whether it's from beauty or nostalgia. It really feels like popping into a long lost family member's house for a meal.“

Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. “Basic diner ambience, the food is always good. I’m a picky eater wanting crispy home fries and crispy bacon and 9out of 10 they deliver exactly as ordered. Good service and it has an overall good vibe“

“I would say this is one of the better diners/coffee shops in the valley. I stopped in for my first time this morning and was pleasantly surprised, it was actually better than I was expecting. It’s a traditional American diner complete with fast service, fair prices, and a huge menu. There is a large free parking lot attached in the back otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out within 10 minutes.

For my breakfast I chose the Sausage Patty Benedict and added avocado and really enjoyed it. It was better than it looks in the photos. The sausage is grilled so it has that nice grill flavor and the hollandaise was not too watery. I also got a side of sliced tomatoes and would suggest trying them too as a side. Inside is pretty large with counter, booth, and table seating and can host many different size groups. I would highly recommend and will be back again in the future.“

“Stopped here on the way to the airport and I was not disappointed! I had a ham, cheese, mushroom and onion omelette (not on the menu exactly) with country potatoes and it was delicious! The coffee was good, the food came fast and got and the server was great. I'll be eating here again when I'm back in town. But they are cash only, luckily I had some on hand . . .“

“IHOP is always a fun spot to take the kids when you’re ready for a sugar rush and stacks of fluffy pancakes. Honestly, I go there mostly because my kid wants to — and he loves it. For adults, the menu has plenty of solid breakfast and lunch options too. At this location I tried the egg white omelet, which was a healthy and tasty vegetarian pick.

It’s also worth noting that IHOP has been among the chains with the steepest menu price increases since 2020 (reportedly around +80%). Even so, the quality-to-price ratio stays fair, making it a reliable choice when you just need a casual meal that keeps everyone happy.“

“Got the veggie omelette today. Perfectly cooked. Very nice, fresh spring greens and country potatoes on side.

I come here also for the farfalle marinara: my kid's fav. Sauce is super, best we've had, she asks for this dish twice a month.

I have their pasta punch card for repeat customers. When I get a free small pasta I usually choose the penne aglio olio, a very nice snack, piping hot, fresh out the pan.

My check suggested 18%,20% or 22% but when I paid the tablet started it's suggestions a bit higher and didn't let me customize to an 18% because of the surprise unchanged. When I tried it defaulted to 20%. I found it surprising that I couldn't get out of there under $24.50 for a simple pancake platter! Ouch. “Yeah it's expensive, as any restaurant located in an upscale office area in a concrete jungle is, but the food is pretty darned good. They had another Trimana that I went to more often, up the street, but it floated off down the river during the pandemic. The manager of this one on Oxnard is a very nice man and he even said that he can't control the costs - except if they were use cheaper quality ingredients and then it wouldn't be as good. I recommend any of the salads or sandwiches. You can't go wrong with like any of them. If you have no food in the fridge at home or need to go for a lunch meeting, go to this Trimana, you won't be sorry.“

“Had to go to the Italian consulate and when we came out, we were starving. Decided to try Blu Jam Cafe right down the block and we were so impressed! Absolutely excellent salads, we had the SW salad and the spinach salad. Both were done to perfection, every bite was delicious! Wish they were in South OC!“

“I have been going here since before it was Jinky's. I am glad that Jinky's replaced the previous place. Their food, atmosphere inside and out, and menu is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I mainly go here for their turkey chili bowl and ice tea. Parking can be a little tricky, so pay attention to the signs. The people from the other businesses tend to confront you if you park in their spot.“
