“Nice little spot tucked away in a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Great value items! I had the Ra-Bokki Rice balls. The ramen was very flavorful. Loved dipping the rice balls in the sauce! I will definitely be back to try the other items in the very varied menu.“

“K-Stop knocks it out of the park, every time. From the friendly welcome to the delicious food, this is a must visit place. I particularly am obsessed with their Bulgogi Kimbap and Iced Coffees. It’s the perfect solution for catering a business lunch or a quick and healthy grab and go to fuel the rest of the day. I HIGHLY recommend!“

“We we looking for something new in the valley and found this spot. We had such a good dinner at K Food Village the other night. It was one of those meals where everyone at the table was happy with what they got. I ordered the bulgogi, and it was exactly how I like it — tender, full of flavor, and not too sweet. My daughter had the bibimbap and really liked it. My wife went for the short rib soup, which came out bubbling hot and was so comforting, especially after a long day. Our other daughter wasn’t super hungry, so she just had the dumplings… crispy on the outside, juicy inside. She polished off the whole plate.
What really stood out, besides the food, was how welcoming and helpful the staff were. They were kind, checked in on us just enough, and made us feel completely at home. The place was clean, laid-back, and had a nice, relaxed vibe. The side dishes were great too — lots of variety and full of flavor.
It’s just nice to find a spot like this in the Valley where the food’s great, the people are nice, and the whole experience feels easy. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Maru Bowl is the quite frankly the best rice bowl spot in the SFV, maybe even all of Los Angeles. From their bulgogi to their fried tofu, their selection is top-tier quality all across the board. From the first bite, it’s undeniable that each bowl is made with so much love and attention. The owners, Joy and Daniel, are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and demonstrate the upmost hospitality to all their guests. As a regular for almost 5 years, I will always consider Maru Bowl as my absolute favorite place to eat. Thank you Daniel and Joy for creating such a wonderful and forever-impactful eating establishment. ❤️“

“I was apprehensive at first being a paleo modified eater. My honest opinion. The food was really good. The beef was not fatty or chewy. I got the extra spicy and if you can handle it its worth it. I got the Korean barbecue double salad no rice and it was excellent. Although it was not cheap it was worth the $. I got double meat and was delivered what I expected.“

“Love their food. We had the Stone Pot Bulgogi (nr 15) and Kimchi Fried Rice (nr 20). Hot, delicious, tasty and great portion size. Great value.
The lady working at the counter, I guess she is the owner, is so sweet and friendly.“

“Been going for the last month, tried almost all KBBq’s this is by FAR the best one. Quality is always great and the owners is very nice. I’ve noticed a diversity of employees that makes the experience all more genuine. The price is beyond affordable, the arrays of meat are delicious, and the side dishes add authenticity that can’t be replicated. The staff are beyond attentive at refilling waters, providing meat, cleaning, and checking in. I’ve noticed the owner takes the time to remember his customers and is always having a pleasant conversation that is heartwarming. Parking is accessible, the restaurant looks aesthetically pleasing and their grills are impeccable. I urge everyone and anyone to try this restaurant! ❤️“

“This place is awesome! Very good food and very fresh. It was good for my whole family since they had both spicy and non spicy options. The choice of protein options was exceptional. Service was outstanding. The staff is very helpful. For example, the clean bathroom needs a code to get in (since we ar in LA) and they were proactive to help my younger son get in.
Only small issue is there could be more variety in fountain drink options.“

“Food is always delicious here. We came for an early dinner because I was craving some Soontofu. They give you the usual Korean sides and a little fried fish, you get an egg and crack it into the soup, a bowl of rice and we usually order the beef or spicy pork bulgogi. Craving satisfied! When it is really busy here, service can be a bit stretched but they lve always taken great care of us.“

“What a wonderful experience. I knew this was gonna be awesome as soon as I walked in. We were quickly greeted and seated. They were playing the kpop demon hunters album....bonus points! Our server Gia gave us wonderful recommendations such as the sweet and sour crispy pork (life changing). We also had seafood noodles with shrimp, squid, and pork! Finally a small bowl of a spicy seafood soup. The flavors were insanely good and food came out quick and hot. Will forsure be back!“

“Pretty standard Korean food. I got the galbi combo with the regular beef soup (medium spice), and the galbi was BY FAR the best part of the meal. Juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. My only gripe is I wish there were more! The tofu soup was just okay—I’ve had better at other Korean restaurants like BCD. All in all, not bad at all for somewhere located in a place known for Japanese food!“

“Food: this is a sports bar/dive that serves great Korean food. I recommend trying the chicken wings or kimchi pork fried rice.
Parking: the restaurant has ample parking since it’s in a large shopping area, anchored by CVS.
Tips: they offer a good variety of draft beers. They have pork hock, which goes great with beer when watching a game.“

“Consistently delicious and hearty meals that are priced right. Server is attentive and welcoming. Although small, the restaurant is always clean and comfortable. Shares a huge parking lot. Best of all, meals are cooked in the kitchen, not in the dining area, so you don't end up smelling like Korean food the rest of the day.“

“It was our first time at Musse, and my sister and I were so impressed. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food made us feel like we were in Korea. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented—truly one of the best authentic Korean restaurants in the SFV. The staff was so kind and welcoming—we even started calling our server Unnie! We’ll definitely be back.“

“So glad to finally tried this place, I don't have to drive to Ktown when I have the cravings for Korean food. I was skeptical but I had to try this place at least once. I went there with my daughter for lunch, ordered kimchee fried rice, kimche jjigae and port katzu. The portions were good and the taste was pretty authentic. Definitely going back. I'm sure their sushi will be pretty good as well as our lunch was.“
“Been visiting for 20 years. Taste and flavor are always on point! Friendly service, you won't get unless you get the owner herself. But the food is always so friggin delicious, that I don't care about friendliness. It's not full service anyway, and the food comes out quickly. And, the price is so reasonable - better than reasonable. I could almost never go to any other restaurants in the same plaza because this place is so much more superior.“

“Sad the old place is gone. Newly renovated, cleaner, not broken tables. Quality of everything took a giant step up. Meat, especially. Prices went up too, but this is a different establishment than was here. Things taste fresher now, and not overly oily or sweet, however much I may have liked it prior, this is definitely a huge improvement. The speed at which things came out are a little slower but I hope they work they service kinks out soon since they just opened. New owners, familiar front of house staff.
Parking: Not much street parking, can become a mess at night“

“Smaller hole in wall type eatery. Teriyaki bowl was great. Great value for price. They charge to use a credit card here.
Parking: Parking is pretty terrible here, directly in front of the eatery. Located between a liquor store and a laundry mat and it makes finding a place to park difficult.“

“Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! Something very different for us. Black bean noodles! Very different way of us ever having black beans and we really enjoyed it. The flavors were very nice and the sides complimented intermittent bites to cleanse palet very well. Wasn’t a fan of the raw onions, but they were the smelly make you cry type, they were the sweet type, but just not a fan of raw onions. The setting was very cafeteria style, but please and casual. We saw that everyone just left their dish trays on the table when done and the food stall that was responsible was very quick to pick up dishes. So we did the same. If you’re looking for a snack and meal after exploring the galleria market, this place is perfect!“

“Came here today June 15,2025. The person wearing white apron is very nice to explain the menu and good service. Of all the 3 restaurant (HIDE, Big boi, Tofu ya) I went to. Tofu ya have the most decent amount of food for their price. Variety of side dishes. I’m glad I found this place. Will definitely come back.“

“The food is what you can expect from a fast food Asian restaurant but it's in one of the most active but not crowded shopping centers! I have yet to park more than 15 steps from the entrance!! Love this spot!
The staff, however, is amazingly helpful and always eager to make your experience better!“

“This place was definitely a place I was a little sketched out to stop by, but the reviews convinced me otherwise. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT WAS! I have lived in Santa Monica for 2 years now and this was my first time - some of the best food I have eaten since living in LA. Very fresh fish and unique flavor profiles. I got the Alaskan spicy roll and it was one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend!!! The gyoza was also phenomenal - very flavors and the sauce was awesome! I will definitely be ONLY going here for sushi moving forward!“

“Food was delicious. Bibimbap was awesome, as was the stir fried octopus. Flavors are great! The galbi portions on the galbi soup are very generous as well. However, overall a little pricey for the quantity and the atmosphere wasn’t very pleasant. There is no AC and the air is filled with the smoke from kbbq.“

“Ordered the original and sauce combo. Price point was fair. The boneless pieces were the issue, some came a little dry, and saucing consistency was a little uneven. There’s some latitude, given this was a pick up. Pick up was a little slower but not by much. The service area a little marred by the homeless pop around.“

“Amazing place, this is my 2nd time here and I love this place. The food is amazing, I went to celebrate my son's graduation here they took care of every one in our party( 11 in total) is very different from other Korean BBQ Restaurants I've visit, I feel I enjoyed the food more, is a very small place but the experience make it worth the lack of ambiance.
I will definitely will be coming back.
I don't know how much is for each individual plate because I had 11 people in my party and we just ordered until everyone was satisfied but it was worth every penny.
The serves make sure you get everything you need, I ordered the marinated beef it was very juice, they lack on variety of choices but it still gives you the whole Korean bbq feel, they provide you with onions, jalapenos and garlic per request, also their salad is AMAZING. It is it not luxurious as other BBQ places.
I still find the meat on this places a much better quality than other Korean BBQ places., I will definitely be coming back.“

“The food is AMAZING. I do feel a bit cheated out of the overall experience. The joint is inside the supermarket and they don’t have a seating area. Something the previous reviews neglected to mention. For a $100+ order and two have to take it to go, it’s definitely not what I expected. We did a picnic nearby to adjust. The food is a culinary trip. I highly recommend them. It is by far one of the best sushi joints in the San Fernando Valley.“

“GREAT chicken. Very crispy and not too heavy like some others out there. Me and my wife ordered 2 small 8 piece bone-in wings (Original Golden flavor), fries and coleslaw. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. Coleslaw was fresh & not too sweet.
My only two gripes with the food are: 1.the price) A little on the expensive end, as back home (Palmdale) we could get an eight piece combo with fries and a drink for the same price as just an 8 piece wings here alone (Korean place too). All good though, inflation hits everyone. Means we just will come here once in a while. And 2) you can only choose one marinade per wing set. Every wing spot I’ve been to allows you to do 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 another. Pretty standard practice, so I thought that was a little disappointing.
One more thing I should mention about the service: I wish the lady (she was Asian) would have suggested me and my wife share a medium (16 piece). It is cheaper to go that route if you both want the same flavor ($30.99) versus two smalls ($33.98). Would have saved us some money and been a nice gesture, but it’s hard to expect that when someone is running a business. Didn’t realize until after the fact.
Anyways, I’d recommend giving them a shot. Just note the things mentioned above before going, if they matter to you.“
“organic taste 😋 and fast delivery 🚚 I recommend“
“There are dining halls, and then there is Feast at Rieber. For those of us who have wandered through the sprawling, sunlit paths of UCLA, there is one corner of the campus where we were always welcomed—not just by food, but by a sensory embrace that transcended the everyday.
Feast wasn’t just a place to eat. It was a haven for the soul, a world of flavors that spoke to our deepest longings for warmth, comfort, and adventure. Who could ever forget the bliss of spicy tuna bowl days? That first taste, where the heat of the tuna met the cool, creamy avocado, all brought together with a perfect bite of rice—each bite was a revelation. There was a magic in that bowl, a whisper of the sea, and a burst of spice that lingered like the best memories do.
And then, there was the pho. How could something so simple—a bowl of broth and noodles—transport us across oceans, into the bustling streets of Vietnam, where every slurp felt like home? We would wait eagerly each week for its return, the fragrant steam rising from our bowls, rich with anise, ginger, and the deep umami that made us believe, for just a moment, that we weren’t in the middle of exams but sitting in a cozy corner somewhere far away.
But no tribute to Feast would be complete without remembering the roti bread with spicy mayo made by the gods themselves. Soft, flaky, and comforting—paired with the addictive heat of that perfect sauce. We’d tear into it with abandon, knowing full well that one serving was never enough. It was the simple indulgence that turned ordinary days into something extraordinary.
In the quiet moments of study breaks or the raucous laughter shared with friends, Feast was always there. It wasn’t just a dining hall—it was a companion through the highs and lows of student life. In its bright lights and bustling kitchen, we found refuge, community, and a connection to something greater than ourselves.
And now, as we sit here, far removed from those days, the ache for Feast is real. It’s a longing that stirs deep within us, not just for the food, but for the memories of those shared meals, where stress dissolved over bowls of ramen and joy was rediscovered with every bite of green tea mochi.
To Feast at Rieber, you were more than a dining hall. You were a gateway to the world, a love letter to Asian cuisine, and a warm embrace that we will carry with us always.“
