“Of all the Indian restaurants in the Bay Area that I tried, this restaurant has the best food imo. I discovered this place by chance on the way to Napa. After having a full meal, I ordered another meal for takeout because the food was so good. I've been here twice now. It's exceptionally good.“

“Great food, great service and reasonable prices for the area. Had the chicken tikka masala, and would order it again! Medium spiciness and found it to be on the milder side of medium.
Arti made us feel at home, and took care of us, even when they were getting takeout orders persistently.
The ginger ale has a spicy taste and you can really taste the ginger. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a soda that tastes like Canada Dry. The mango lassi drinks in the fridge are really good, and I don’t generally eat mangos.
Recommend coming hungry after a hike or day at the beach!“

“Had just arrived in San Francisco, and hit the road heading to Sonoma for a wedding this weekend. Looking for a place to have lunch and we found Avatars on line. So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! Friendly staff and a place we will fondly remember and look forward to trying again on our next trip out here!!“

“This place made the tastiest veggie curry dish - I asked for the Channa Masala extra spicy and they did such a great job! Their garlic naan is very good too. I am not an expert or Indian food aficionado. However, I love the taste of their food and the girl I spoke with over the phone was very sweet!“

“Overly priced. Service was excellent, but food not upto the mark. Place and no salt. Quantity for the price, not worth. Took veg thali, appetizer with one less sabzi would have been great… dessert was disappointing, to be honest felt like idli dipped in milk, was so hard“

“Family run restaurant. Direct from Goan India... so good! Yummy menu. I've ordered nearly everything (meat or veg) and all is delightful. My personal faves are the aloo Gobi, Dal makhani, Chana Masala, and baigan bharta. Meat dishes yummy, biryanis delicious, and my young kids can eat the mild, I don't go above medium- hot for myself (I love spicy food).“
