“The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I had the French dip sandwich and it was the fattest French dip sandwich I have ever had. The au jus that came with it was slightly thicker than what I expected, but it had a deep taste that went so well with the sandwich. Absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and they got our order out quickly. Would definitely prefer to go here than to other fast food places surrounding this little gem. Will definitely be back again!”

“Just devoured a bowl of the beef pho at Pho Saigon #1 and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the thinly sliced beef was so tender. The fresh herbs and a squeeze of lime really tied it all together. The Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls hit the spot. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving some fantastic pho!”

The owners, Kris and Chi (forgive me if I spelled that wrong), made me feel so welcome right away. “This is a small hole in the wall restaurant outside of Travis AFB. The restaurant tables are old and it can get a little muggy in the summer. But don't let any of that fool you...they make the very best Quesobirria anywhere! It is so flavorful, just a wealth of spices. It has a generous amount of birria and a lot of melted cheese. One day I'll have to remember to take a photo, but they're so good I just dive and and devour them!

“As former Chieftain member, I am found of their wines, the cozy tasting room and patio area literally at Mankas Corner. Live music and small bites make for a great experience. Their cabs are 3.8 of 5 with the petit sirah a 4 of 5. I would not lay these wines for longer than 3 years. Overall, a good wine destination but the high monthly member fee costs more annually than Napa wine clubs.”

“I ordered the Family Meal Special they are doing for the lockdown. Everything was delicious. The fire grilled flavor came through in each bite of chicken. The tempura was a nice large portion of perfectly al dente with dipping sauce. The child’s teriyaki chicken has two gyoza inside and is honestly a great lunch size portion. The vegetable noodles have great flavor. I have a ton of leftovers, as it is just me, so I’ll be eating some of the rest at dinner; starting with the miso soups.”

My dad got the seafood cocktail and some Cabeza tacos and they were all fresh and delicious. The rice was a little lacking on flavor. But I understand you have to keep the sodium down for certain diet types.
We also got some cheese enchiladas to take home for my mom
And she said there were delicious too!!

I understand some people will read this and disagree with me but customer service is huge to me. my wife and I used a full $100 gift card on lunch for just her and I so we both had enough to take home for dinner the same night. we forgot our to-go bag on the table (yes our fault). less than 10 minutes late, we realized the food wasn't with us. Called the restaurant and said we were on our way back. The host who answered said "sorry, that table has already been cleaned and we threw it away". We even had a full conversation with our waitress about our intentions with the amount of food we were buying. It just irritated me that no one had the mind to just set it aside for a few minutes at least.”

“This is my favorite pho spot and we travel out of town just for it. We come from vacaville because the bad customer service the vacaville branch of this company. Came here and omg the broth is so much better! The BBQ spring rolls have way more meat and the customer service is super amazing. This is the spot to go! My kids request it at least one of month if not more and they dont care its hot outside they want thus soup!”

One half of the restaurant is for hibachi and the other is not. You can also order off the sushi menus if you are doing hibachi.

It has been several years since I last had pizza from this establishment, and I noticed a significant difference in the pizza. The taste and texture reminded me of Round Table pizza, albeit without the feta and gorgonzola cheese. I enjoyed the pizza overall for the cheeses.

“My son (47) and I (78) went there today. It recently opened.No one there except an Indian woman and man. It is their place. Nothing is prepared until you order. The fish is very hot when delivered to your table. The fries are great and properly salted. The onion rings were a disappointment. The cold slaw was just cabbage with mayo. The portions are adequate. Soft drinks in a can. We like to go to small, family restaurants. We will not be going back to this one.”
