“I’m so glad we found this gem of a place in San Anselmo! My wife and I live in Brooklyn and come to the area every year to see family. This bar/ hang out spot is one of the most welcoming spaces in the area. The mid century / south west aesthetic instantly adds a coziness element. The staff are super kind, the drinks are so fresh and creative, and the pop up food was packed with flavor! Shout out for the space being very sensory friendly- large ceiling sound proof panels and wood on the walls to absorb noise. I will be back!“

“Amazing place and people!!!! The manager, Candice, is so sweet and helpful! We got married at Deer Park Villa nearby and chose to have our after-party at Nave's after looking into multiple bars in the area. Nave's stood out to us over the others because of the friendly, casual, laid-back, and fun vibes! Candice made it so easy for us, helped us coordinate with Ghiringhelli's Pizzeria in town to have late night food there and ready for us when we arrived, and even let us bring our DJ and allowed him to set up his equipment and continue to play for all of our guests. We cannot thank her or Nave's enough for this! They even let us come back and do it all over again the next night! Some of our best wedding memories were made here this weekend. All of the staff and other customers were so friendly and welcoming to us! We definitely recommend Nave's for a wedding after-party or event! “Great for events and parties or just swing by for a drink. Best well kept secret in Marin. Fun funky bar and great outside patio area. There is a wonderful upstairs hall as well with a private bar and kitchen. Lots of options.“

“It’s the only bar in town so you have to go there is a restaurant across the street that serves food and drinks but it closes. Their is not enough staff to cover the crowd they have for a Saturday night especially when they charge a cover charge hilarious the haggards were playing but you have to like that music to enjoy the place pool tables nice touch but very old and stained maybe a three star place maybe“

Great atmosphere with some really cool pics of old bands and legends like the rat pack, 2 patios, 1 in the back, and 1 next to parking lot, 2 pool tables, and the bartenders are knowledgeable with drinks. I believe they serve hotdogs (not sure) but you are welcome to bring food and eat it there.“

“love love love it here! my mom and I stayed in fairfax for a whole week and we ate here several times. food is amazing, atmosphere is amazing, staff is amazing. special shout out to our main man Ty who remembered us by name and was always super fun and friendly every time we came in. he may even play you a few songs on his guitar if you’re lucky. this place was definitely a highlight of our trip and i’ll miss going there when we leave. we could also tell that this place is a huge hit with the locals which is always nice to see. thanks for all of the great food, drinks, conversations, and songs Barefoot Cafe! until next time! -Ebony“
