“The staff here was very friendly and fun to deal with, especially the cashier.

The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Don’t get me wrong, the meats were cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. But the bark, my favorite part of smoked barbecue, was lacking some flavor and pepperiness.

The portion sizes were pretty decent and they run on average with what a lot of barbecue places charge“

“The Sunday brunch is always a delight at Cafe Florian. It's the next in the Bay Area. The servings are always fresh and the roast beef and dungeness crab was awesome. You can always expect outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere. We have been coming here for the last ten years and it's always consistently excellent! The caters are attentive and the kitchen does a great job.“

Our young kids really enjoyed the dishes and we had to even order an extra bowl of just steamed rice 😅. - Milk bread = chef's kiss - Coconut fritters had an interesting combination of flavors and texture - Kohlrabi with pomegranate seeds was "super good" according to my 6-year-old. I could not verify because he inhaled the whole thing. - Meiji tofu custard with shrimp and snap peas: Another hit with both kids, which always equals a win. - Spanish octopus had the right amount of crisp on the outside and the right amount of bite overall. - Pork belly was a bit too sweet to our liking. - Banana milk soft serve with mochi and shaved peanut butter - Griddled pistachio financiers: We'd never had griddled financiers, so the bruleed financiers were a new treat.“

“We had an absolutely lovely experience here! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, everyone was friendly and attentive. Fantastic high end ambience. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. “BG is a gorgeous restaurant, with well prepared food, and live music/jazz, most days of the week. Owners are very personable and hands-on, which is rare, amongst restaurants. Great place for special occasions or just a night out with your favorite person/people. Share a great experience, without a shocking price tag!“

“OK, so my chicken salad was delicious and it looked like the other things that the people I was with had were also pretty good a Smashburger a salmon salad a BLT chicken tenders. “Not many restaurants open at 7 am, so I just chose Neal's. First time I have been asked if I wanted my corned beef hash and hash browns crispy. Usually I would mention it when ordering.

I prefer the corned beef beef bits a little bigger, but at least it didn't have a disproportionate amount of potatoes. The corned beef hash and the hash browns came very crispy, potato chip crispy. 😋

“The Redwood is a secret gem in downtown Palo Alto. I'm a sandwich for lunch guy, and what I've loved about the several that I've had is that Chef Julien takes excellent base components -- like bread/rolls, meat, cheese and veggies -- and adds extras that make it taste especially good. My wife is a soup and salad person and she's always been very happy with her food. We're so grateful that a friend turned us on to the place.

I'm addition, we recently had Chef Julien cater a dinner for us. He was especially thoughtful to manage the menu around dietary restrictions of guests. Everyone loved the meal, from start to finish.“

“Reservation at 7pm. Arrived 6:56 and seated 7:22, not sure what's the point of reserving. Server took our order, then returned when our plate was finished. Never checked in on us, never refilled water. Kitchen forgot our appetizer but it was placed as confirm by our waiter. Clam chowder did have a big piece of undissolved flour. Food was great though, will be back.“

Everything on the menu is delicious, but my top picks are definitely the fish tacos and the goat cheese with pistachio so unique and full of flavor. And their steaks are always cooked perfectly and taste amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, and the staff are always welcoming and kind. Every visit has been a great experience. “This place is by far one of the best breakfast/ brunch spots in the area. I made a visit here with my previous girlfriend, since we were craving for some good brunch and we were in the area. Upon arrival, their was a bit of a wait, but I did not mind since I am a very patient person. When we were called, the staffs gave us an option to dine inside or at one of their outdoor tables. We chose outdoor since it was a warm and beautiful day. Their menu consists of breakfast platters, sandwiches, shareable items, special dishes, drinks and much more. It was our first meal of the day, so we ordered basically whatever sounded good. Everything was made to order which is always a plus because freshness matters. When our food arrived, it was more than we expected and it was enough for a second meal. The staffs were welcoming, well trained and understanding which made our visit a satisfying one. I recommend this place to all breakfast lovers, if you are looking for a quick bite in the morning or if you just want to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“

“Palo Alto Creamery is located in the heart of Palo Alto at 566 Emerson St, right at the intersection of Hamilton Ave and Emerson St, making it very easy to find. It’s a spacious restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service.

The food is delicious and served quickly, even during busy times. This place is especially well known for its burgers, which are flavorful and satisfying. I personally loved the chicken wings the spicy and sweet flavors were spot on and the fries were crispy and tasty.

It’s an excellent spot for friends and family gatherings, whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a relaxed dining experience. Street-side parking is available, which is convenient given the central location.

“The restaurant is filled with festive spirits for the upcoming holidays! Nice decorations with tall glass windows for all the lights to shine through. Warm and cozy place. The waitress was so lovely and energetic even though it’s already midday.

The food was good. Only one small thing: the poached eggs of Egg Benedicts wasn’t poached enough. It was almost like a boiled eggs. Should be runnier. Otherwise, everything was good.“

“The burrito was okay. The good is the size — it’s pretty big. The bad part is the taste for me. The chicken had too much BBQ sauce and wasn’t fresh I think. I didn’t finish it because it was very mid. Nachos were good. I think if you are in between choices at that place, get something but burrito because my colleagues got other food and liked it more.“
