The food was amazing!!! We ordered the spicy cajun edemame, crispy pork, and tom yum seafood fried rice. All three dishes were wonderfully prepared! Great job to the chefs!

The only thing lacking was the service, but the staff was young, but I would venture to guess that they will learn and the service will get better in time.

Our server Jacob asked to reopen their kitchen just to make us some dessert even though it was after hours. “I went to this place because it was recently ranked #3 among fusion restaurants, so I wanted to give it a try.
We ordered the pork belly with fries, nacho chips, and tacos.

Wow—nothing was too salty, and everything was so easy to enjoy. My friend and I ended up finishing all the food while chatting without even noticing.

The tacos were especially memorable. They’re small but generously topped, and when eaten with their homemade spicy sauce, they definitely made me think of having a beer.

The woman in the photo, who is the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. As a nice bonus, when we spoke Korean, they gave us a small discount.

Definitely worth to trying.

“It is a great place that opens till very late. We came at almost midnight and had some cold beer and authentic food. Some of the food is very authentic such as the blood sausage. We tried that and some fried whole chicken, fried tofu, and squid. It was nice you can just ordered thru the pad and they served quick. They gave us some free orange slices too.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

Cashier super friendly. I was in between spicy and sweet chicken or regular chicken bowl. I ended up getting regular chicken bowl. Upon getting my order the nice Asian young man asked me if I wanted to try and sweet and chilli sauce they used for the chicken I was debating on. I said ofc! “I have been to many Wabas over the past few years and this is still my preferred location. Chicken bowls are not complex and shouldn’t be that hard to deliver a solid bowl/ plate. They cook the chicken well, don’t skimp on the protein compared to other locations, and have good customer service. It’s also clean, solid music lol and overall a decent spot for a quick lunch/post gym sesh/etc. I feel this place deserved a review - I don’t always have time to make them but here n there I’ll make time for the worthy ones.“

The spicy chilli sauce they have is really good if your into that stuff and if you’re not feeling like pho you can order their fried chicken leg which is super crispy that is also served up with fried chicken skin which is addicting. “I am a Senior citizen so I go between 2 - 4 pm Mon thru Thu because it only costs 10.99 to eat at this buffet . The food is usually fresh and tasty which includes a good selection of Sushi and some Seafood 😁
They also have good pastries and ice cream for dessert 🍪
The regular price seems a little high compared to other buffets in the area . If you are really hungry this a good choice compared to McDonald's or fast food restaurants.“
