“I dont understand why this place doesnt have a line around the building... I've been coming here for a while now. I used to live in Santa Ana, then Paramount, and now Laguna Niguel. Every time I've made the drive because the drinks are AMAZING. For the most part I'm a Thai tea kinda person and the Thai Tea Blossom is ALWAYS on pint and add the Sealt Creme..... its heaven in a cup. The staff has always been good and the art does blow me away, some of these people should be doing comics, manga or cartoons. This place should be on everyone's list if you're into delicious drinks, think I'm kidding?? Again-- I drive from Laguan Niguel to get a drink from here!!!“

“Taro Latte, and Vietnamese coffee ube foam is stellar, A grade. But Vi, the owner, is the star of the store. She made sure everyone loves their order before you leave, and will alter it if needed. The store is lovely with plenty of seating, toy machines, and anime merchandise. Will definitely be back for more.“

“I eat too much pizza and its become hobby of judging pizza independents. He said it would it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. Pizza was amazing for the price point. Hospitality grade was beyond what I would expect from a small pizza establishment. Gentleman at the counter presented my pizza my like a fine wine ordered in a restaurant. Offered ranch at no charge. Offered cheese and peppers. Plates and napkins were provided without request. I approve of this fine establishment.“

“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. In my humble opinion, Umacha is my favorite place to go to for quality tea and flavorful boba. Even though Umacha is a smaller stand, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the shop itself is very visibly appealing too. The boba is very tasty and never extremely undercooked or overcooked like many boba places I stumble across, and the tea is strong and especially great when they make it fresh there. “This is the original Tastea location, and it’s got so much history for me. It opened when I was just finishing high school — I was 17 or 18 — and this place was the hangout spot. One of the first big boba spots around, and easily the most popular. All my friends worked here, everyone came through — it was the place to be.

When they dropped the green boba, it was game over. People were lining up. Even now, with so many new tea shops everywhere, this one still holds up.

My go-to drink is the Peach Me Sweetea — still undefeated. When I want something simple (and cheaper), the Simple Black Iced Tea always hits. Lately, though, I’ve been obsessed with their ranch fries. They used to have the buttload fries — not my favorite seasoning — but this new ranch version? So good. Everything’s fresh, hot, and made to order.

Honestly, I’ve come here just for the fries sometimes and forget to get a drink. I never get the boba, but the drinks and those ranch fries? Nowhere else does it like this. Still one of my favorite OG spots.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

“Love our experience at Eightfold Tea Shoppe this past weekend. The girl working was very efficient and was straightforward with us letting us know that the drinks were going to take a little bit longer than usual as there were several orders ahead of us and she was the only one at the moment. It was definitely worth the wait, the drinks were made to perfection; good balance with the tea taste and sweetness. We ordered the Earl grey cheese cream and mango swirl.

“My favorite place for kumquat lemon iced tea with crystal boba. I love the vibe when you walk in is very peaceful and relaxing. They also use fresh fruits so you can taste it instead of too much syrup. Would recommend !“

“My husband and I have been regulars for years. Our favorite drink has always been the Oreo green brûlée milk tea. We like the crunchy Oreo bits, cream flavor, hint of floral green tea, and soft boba.

This latest visit on Saturday night,
the boba was soft and mushy rather than chewy/bouncy as previous visits. Not sure if it was a one off situation.

They’ve transitioned their Fivestars points system to a new rewards system. We noticed our points were not showing, but after contacting the posted email address they retrieved and added the missing points.

Parking is always easy and plenty and the A/C in the store is always strong which are pluses.“
