Price. No more pre-pandemic, pre $20/hr wage specials like $5 meals. Everything's $10-15 for a fried chicken meal, and bucket meals $30-50~. Bucket deal on 12 piece was $20 today, $30~ with a large cole slaw and 2 biscuits.“

Usually the customer service is pretty good, but on this day 11/29/25 @ 1030pm The younger guy working the cash register had zero customer service skills. “I was visiting from Montreal, Canada, and I’m so glad I stopped by Dave's Hot Chicken! The food was absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect level of spice. What really made my experience special, though, was the outstanding service. The manager, was incredibly welcoming, took the time to suggest the best sauces to pair with my chicken, and made me feel like a valued customer from start to finish. It’s not every day you encounter such genuine hospitality!

“Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

Justin knows how to get the orders out fast when it’s really super busy and when there’s a lot of pressure. His skill at working under pressure is amazing. “My wife and I moved out of southern California 9 years ago and the only thing we really miss, besides family is the Mexican food! This local, no frills spot really hits the mark. The food is on point and meets all our breakfast, lunch and dinner needs! If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop for take out or dinning in the patio area!“

I ordered the half chicken combo which included three side items. The chicken itself is super juicy and delicious. For my side items, I got a double side of potato salad and rice and they too were mouth watering. The person who waited on us was an extremely pleasant man who turned out to be the owner. He gave me a brief history on the restaurant which I found to be very interesting. Owning a successful food establishment requires a lot of work. Having to change up your menu items and re decorate the dining room every couple years sounds like a huge challenge. I will definitely be back in the future to try one of their Korean entrees. Did I mention that the other half of the menu is Korean food? Extremely diverse menu!!!!!!!“

The waitress Luna was very friendly, amazing, polite, and helped me choose what flavors to get and items to get based on popularity. (Honey bee is popular, but I prefer Sweet and Spicy).

Wait time doesn't take long, usually about 15 minutes. The chicken wings and tenders are cooked fully and they are loaded for the sauce. Definitely, recommend the combos as you get a lot of food for the money.

I look forward to coming back here and trying out the other flavors.
