Loco moco was juicy and clearly made very fresh. Cooked a perfect medium and packed with flavor.

“I come here whenever I get a chance like if I'm near by yk. I really love the food especially the macaroni and rice and chicken😍. I moved out of Santa Ana long ago so it's been a while. Crazy how the restaurant hasn't changed that much or maybe not all but I've changed like a lot lol when I first ate there I was in highschool..I'm 22 now like bruh. “The most authentic Hawaii experience you can find outside of Hawaii! Not only was the storefront decorated with Hawaii themed memorabilia that made me feel at home but the service and food was A+We ordered two spam musubi ( a Hawaii classic) the Teri Mix Plate and Seafood Mix Plate.First off, everything is made to order NO food is sitting around and the food is FRESH!All the food was excellent and had amazing flavor reminding me of home! The spam musubi and Mac salad were amazing and it felt like I was still in Hawaii!I 1000% recommend this restaurant and you should definitely stop by when coming to Disneyland!P.S. We would have taken pictures but we ate the food too quickly it was that delicious!Thank you again Aunty Cheryl for all the kindness and great service!“

“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“Solid Hawaiian BBQ joint. Chicken, beef, pork, and katsu on the menu. The combo plate gives you a taste of everything and weighs like 5 pounds… perfectly cooked cabbage and macaroni salad. I got the chicken katsu which was appropriately thin and crispy with our being dry. Good curry sauce and it has potatoes!! Will definitely eat here again and work my way thru the menu. They have limited seating at the Irvine location on Barranca. Friendly service. Clean restaurant. A++“

“A different type of takeout restaurants under one roof. No frills or amenities. Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. Very clean, fast service, and no on premises dining. Many restaurants and foods are featured. Location is in a light industrial area and well traveled. I recommend you try this place.“

“I was able to come here twice while on business. I did enjoy all the variety of toppings to the 3 or 5 protein bowl. The rice was great for the foundation.I tried the volcano 2 and spicy mayo combo and couldn't really taste the heat at all. Probably needed more flavoring. A but bland. But the bowl size and portion for 5 protein is good. 15.99. Adding an avocado baby scoop is probably worth it at 1.50 extra to give your bowl extra texture. Enjoyed the bowl. Spice up the sauces.“

“There are several different Hawaiian BBQ , however if you have not ever tried the food at this place you are in huge luck. Prices are more than fair in todays world.
The taste of there food is awesome to say the least, and for them to give you like 3 pounds of food .mostly beef, if that's your choice is even better. I been eating here and showing new friends here for over 10 yrs.“

Recently I left my water bottle at my table about a week ago and the crew today when I showed up waved my down when I walked in and handed me the water bottle that I had assumed to be long gone. “I have been eating at Waikiki for a decade and have never been disappointed! I feel guilty not having written them a review until now because they are so good. I’ve moved out of orange county but get food from here every time I visit. My go to favorites are the chicken katsu, bbq chicken, and Maui pineapple chicken! The chicken is always super delicious and tender. And they always remember to replace the mac and cheese with double rice for me because I’m lactose intolerant.“

THE FOOD WAS BOMB!!!My son and I shared the CHICKEN COMBO -Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki with rice and macaroni salad. Huge portion. Chicken was cooked perfectly and Mac salad was on point! I'd order it again.My husband enjoyed his SEAFOOD PLATTER -Fried Shrimp, fried fish with rice mac salad. Huge portion too. They also had boba drinks. We tried the mango slush with Boba and was a little sweet for my liking but still good.Customer service was great! “We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.“
