“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“I gave an earlier bad review because of a to go order where they gave one strawberry for a berry basket meal. I have gone back since and it's really great. The fruit serving in the berry basket has been generous and everything tastes great! I gave a 4 star in service instead of five because a male employee did not help me right away with my pickup order just stared at me and went back to flirting with another female employee. Only when I stood there like an idiot for a while (maybe a like 4 to 5 minutes) then he gave me my pick up order. But it's ok I totally understand to be young and in love! “We have been coming to this location for many years. The server was very attentive and was able to answer questions promptly. The steaks and sides were very well seasoned and cooked as per request. We opted for a Dinner for two, and the pricing was good.“

“Another fabulous evening. We went early on New Years Eve. They had just changed the menu for the new year, so we ended up with a bottle of champagne- Pierre Jouet blanc de blanc - - first time for that one and it was great. Their wedge salad is yummy and big enough for 2 to share, with an interesting presentation . Order it and find out for yourself. Husband had the whole branzino, grilled, with beluga lentils and grilled vegetables -another lovely presentation. I had the grilled octopus, served as a warm salad, with a melange of vegetables.: every bite was a bit different. They cut the octopus in bite sized pieces, so no wrestling with it to cut it up. Flavors were interesting - each bite a different combo of ingredients. Dessert was their interesting baklava cheesecake and a combo of ice creams : mexican and one with cardomon flavor - both were worth the calories! Service by Gabriel was top notch and fun. We'll be back .“

“Great menu with lots of diversity...there is something for everyone. We usually go with 3 to 4 people in our party and often share because that allows us to try more of the menu and we have always enjoyed each and every item we have selected from the menu. Beer selection is great...almost as large as the food menu. I have always had good service at all of the Finney's I have been to for lunch or dinner... Orange, Brea and Camarillo. Great restaurant!! I would highly recommend you try it...you will not be disappointed.“

“Wow. Had some truly special food here. The Koobideh was juicy, and almost perfect. It was served with a little spicy aioli that brought the whole dish to another level. The babaghanoush had some lovely balsamic that elevated it elegantly and the Tzatziki had pickles instead of cucumbers and it was the best I’ve tasted. My wife had pita fries and they were genius and delicious. Do not leave without trying the saffron pistachio and/or pomegranate/chocolate ice cream. Service and ambiance were matched to the food, just right.“

“We had a late dinner at the Yard House after a Christmas lights cruise in the bay on a Monday in December. The Yard House serves dinner later. We had a an appetizer of queso with meat. It was outstanding. I had Maui Chicken and my wife had a Chicken dish ,also. Both were large portions and fantastic. When we are in the area we will definitely go back!“

“Celebrated my 19th birthday here with my cousins! It's our first time and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the delicious food! Service was a bit slow at the beginning but when we finally got our appetizers followed by our main courses, it was really good! We had a great time overall.“

“My friends and I had such a fabulous time at Jolies. From the moment we arrived, we were seated promptly and warmly greeted by the host. We asked to switch our reservation to the patio, and the team was incredibly accommodating, they even turned on the heaters for us, which made the experience extra cozy and thoughtful. We started with a few cocktails, and the Passion Spritz was hands-down our favorite, refreshing and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we ordered the picanha, halibut, Caesar salad, and I went with the pho burger, which was truly the standout. So unique, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. The patio itself is beautiful with a lovely view, making it such a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We're already looking forward to coming back, especially to check out the new rooftop. “Stopped in at Social in Costa Mesa while spending a weekend down in Orange County, and I’m so glad we did. I’d heard great things from friends, and this place definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was spot-on, and the service was just as good.

It wasn’t too busy when we arrived—probably because it’s Christmas season and everyone’s out shopping—so we got in right before the lunch crowd. I heard it was packed the night before, and I can see why. Everything we tried was top-notch.“

“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“The Duck Confit Spliff is a great representation of the Vietnamese & French cultures “wrapped” up all in one dish. And for a more traditional & fun way to eat it, you definitely have to use your hands. My only wish was for a little more duck in the spliff.

With the Ebelskivers, the concept was again brilliant. The garlic emulsion creates an intense garlic flavor but in a light and airy way. But like takoyaki, I wish there was more escargot in the batter to remind me more of that chewy feel from the traditional dish.

The surprise star of our meal was the Royale with Cheese. The wagyu had great flavor and char. And the sesame seed bun held up well for this napkin-required burger. But those pickles were amazing nuggets of necessity to add balancing acidity to the richness of the dish.

We definitely want to try the Duck Breast, the Spanish Octopus, and the Prix Fixe Meal on future visits. A final thanks to Chef & Curtis for the friendly service and explanation of the menu.“

“My Filet was tought as leather I could hardly cut it and had a hard time chewing it. I have never experienced this with a filet at any restaurant. Tuna appetizer was out of this world delicious drinks are very good as well the service was outstanding. I will go there again but will pass on the filet.“
