Fresh, flavorful and the customer service was top notch The owner offered to make me something special: he grilled me sesame crusted tofu and put it on the Wasabi salad. “Beer Mule is a regular lunch spot for us. The menu is solid and the drink selection is unreal.

What surprised me is how good it is at night too. I came in a few weeks ago in the evening and it was the perfect place to kick back and have a beer or two. Easy vibe, good energy, no nonsense.

“Every time I go, spot in with the food. This is what I look for in a restaurant. Think out of the box menu with consistency every time I go with every item I order. I keep working down the menu to try everything. They obviously make their own sauce, the ranch, super bomb diggity. Fries, onion rings, salad all fresh and crisp. Mac and Gouda cheese bites, Yes! Chop cheese, you gotta have one of these! Mushroom cap “burger “ something you will crave, Parish pie, goodness wrapped up in one dish. Salmon fish & chips, fantastic. And I forgot to mention beer, beer, beer, they also have beer and mixed drinks. There is always specials on the screens. Last time I noticed something about tenderloin and bacon …… can’t wait to go back and find out!“

Service is quick and friendly, food is flavorful and tasty with large portions at a reasonable price. I’m partial to curries, the pumpkin curry is outstanding but I’ve tried and loved them all. The ginger chicken soup is phenomenal as well. Highly recommend!“

“This is a restaurant with an elegant atmosphere , great service , good wine list and a wide selection of North-Indian dishes.
Food , however, is NOT authentic Indian. We found it bland but a bit excessive in oil & certain flavorings/ spices.

We ordered the Paneer sizzler, vegan butter chicken, mutter paneer, vegan aloo paratha, plain naan and raita.

I requested some achaar- Indian pickle and the house made achar was satisfying. Naan & raita were both very satisfying as well !

The aloo paratha was disappointing with unnecessarily excessive flavoring .

The dessert menu was very small and boring. We ended the meal with the ghulab jamun, served hot. It was good !“

“This is a place the deserves a visit just for the Thai decor, art , fine handicraft collection it holds ! A lush welcoming garden with multiple water features/ ponds is at the front .

They make vegetarian version of most dishes on their big menu. We had the fresh veg spring rolls that came with sweet plum sauce and peanut sauce . And then a hot pot of spicy Tom Kha soup - coconut milk with tofu & veggies.

They were both great .“

“We ordered a takeout pizza 20 minutes before closing as we were driving into Aptos. The staff was very accommodating and said they would be there when we were to arrive in 25 minutes. They had the pizza ready and it was very good. Great job Pizza 1 Aptos!“

“I come get a slice here often. It’s unfortunate that the price has gone up so much in recent years but I guess that’s true of most places. When slices were $1.50 it was a great deal. Now it’s just about average. The pizza isn’t the best, but it’s consistent and it will satisfy that craving you have for a slice. I like that you can get just a slice or two if you want. The dining area is usually quiet, with plenty of seating for just yourself or you and a couple friends. They have some games for the kids. I like that you get the sweet smell of the breads being baked at the panaderia next door. Parking is usually no problem. The staff is friendly.“

“I went to this location on a bus tour for a new staff orientation. We took over the whole building. This place has 3-5 huge tv screens that were playing the Olympic Games, basketball, and soccer. The staff were very busy running around and serving food with a huge smile. Every staff member including the owner, Junior (who was cooking all of our food), had a huge smile on their faces and kept asking if we needed anything else. The bus tour ran late and we had to leave in a hurry. Without complaint the staff cleaned up and asked if we needed anything else. The staff encouraged us to take to-go boxes and went above and beyond in friendly, respectful, welcoming customer service. I love to support places like this and always feel respected and valued as a customer.

I asked the server if she could double wrap everything because I was traveling by airplane the next day and would be hand carrying these sandwiches home. This wonderful lady took great care to pack everything securely for me and did so with a smile! “The ITS breakfast burrito at this place was bigger heavier, and I dare say the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. It was loaded with potatoes, avocados, eggs, cheese, and several types of meat. Something else that stood out was the hot salsa, which was extremely hot, but also had a wonderful flavor. This is my favorite breakfast place moving forward in the area.“
