“Ramen Arashi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. The food, of course, was phenomenal—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that hit every note. But what truly set this place apart was the service.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, all with a warm smile that felt so genuine. She even spoke Japanese to me! The chef, too, came out to check on our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to encounter people this kind and passionate about what they do.
If you’re looking for amazing ramen and an experience that leaves you feeling cared for, Ramen Arashi is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“A wonderful sushi experience from start to finish! The service was impeccable—our server was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations without being pushy. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The rolls had a perfect balance of textures, and the sashimi was incredibly tender. The ambiance was calm and stylish, with warm lighting and minimalist decor that created a cozy and intimate setting. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing, delicious sushi meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“I went here with my wife because we were craving sushi. We managed to find this spot and decided to try it out. Overall, the food was good and the price was pretty good for the quality of the sushi. My wife had some hand rolls, and they were tasty. The service was great, the servers were pleasant and accommodating, they gave us free ice cream. Ambience wise, it's pretty basic and nothing spectacular, but that's okay with me. I would go back and recommend it to anyone if you're looking to support a mom and pop shop that provides good sushi at a reasonable price.“

“This Japanese tsukemen restaurant is really impressive. Whether it is the food, environment or service, it is full of sincerity. It is highly recommended!
First of all, their tsukemen are so delicious. The noodles are chewy and chewy, cooked just right, neither too soft nor too hard, and can absorb the rich dipping sauce perfectly. The soup has rich flavors, with a strong flavor of fish meat and tonkotsu. It is thick but not overly greasy, and every bite is full of concentrated delicious flavor. The accompanying barbecued pork meat is soft and tender, the fat is evenly distributed, and melts in your mouth, making the whole bowl of tsukemen even more delicious. In addition, the store also provides extra stock, which can be added with dipping sauce to turn into soup after eating the noodles. Such details make people feel the charm of authentic Japanese tsukemen.
The atmosphere inside the store is also quite great, the decoration is simple and full of Japanese style, and the lighting is warm and soft, creating a comfortable dining environment. The seats are well spaced so you won't feel crowded, and the background music is soft Japanese melodies, allowing you to relax and enjoy your food.
The most commendable thing is the attentive service of the clerk. From entering to ordering and serving, every detail is attentive. The clerk is kind and polite, and will also explain how to eat the meal, making people feel enthusiastic and professional. Overall, this restaurant not only has delicious tsukemen, but the overall dining experience is also very enjoyable. It is definitely worth a try and will make you want to come back again and again!“

“Very refined modern takes on Japanese food. The food is first class, service is great, and love the sake! Considering the incredible quality of the food, the price is very reasonable. If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. Definitely recommend Soho for those looking for great, and non-typical Japanese food.“

“It's small, so the wait for a dine in table can take a bit, but the food quality is worth the wait. Our family has loved everything we have tried. this is one of a handful of local restaurants my 10 year old some will never complain about!“

“We love coming here as a family. The staff are very kid-friendly. The food is good, although the traditional sushi are better than that modern ones. Their traditional sushi and sashimi are very good. Our kids ask to go to Satomi all the time!“

“Located on Warm Springs Road in Fremont, in a small strip mall. This is my new favorite Omakase sushi restaurant, featuring large cuts of high quality seafood on tiny pieces of rice. Their 10 piece Omakase sushi is an excellent value at $46! I also recommend their oyster, uni shooters, which is served on a soup spoon! Delicious mix of flavors, seasoned with fish eggs and ponzu sauce. By the way, they provide freshly grated Japanese wasabi, not the artificial horseradish.“

“Food was excellent. No complaints about the dishes and the large variety of choices. Caterpillar and Pink Lady roll were tasty and the latter, spicy. The unagi and chirashi bowl had a decent amount of food and was filling without needing additional appetizers. Kids plate with salmon and chicken were tasty as well.
It wasn't clear, but the lunch bento is only available M-F. We went on a Sunday after 2pm.
The only complaint is that the service, while better in the latter half, was a little slow at the beginning since there was only a single waiter. There were 3 tables at the time and the waiter was not available when we wanted to request a glass of water for the table. It was understandably slow after the lunch rush though. We wanted ice water to be available because it was hot for the day. Roughly 88 degF. Minor gripe, so not a real issue. Waitstaff made up for it later by being attentive and general availability.
Low noise volume. Couldn't hear the other patrons. Food came out quick after ordering.
Clean restroom. Large rooms and tables to handle about 30 to 40 people easily. Not that many large tables. Largest one I saw was 6 people tables. You can push them together if you have larger group.
Commercial center area is new to me. Haven't been to Warm Springs much.“

“This place is kinda hard to get into, it's behind a pathway and a little out of the way. However the staff was friendly, and helped the guests in front of me to decide for first timers.I just got the tea and it was great! Not too sweet and tasty.“

“Fun Japanese grocery store in the east bay in a bleak suburban location - I definitely feel bad for all the Asian people who have to experience america like this! No public Transportation to speak of except for a bus and at the mouth of a freeway! Eek!!!! 😱
Groceries are great and they have a little food court but it’s a great place to get natto and seaweed products from Japan. Stuff is ultra casual, Fremont seems to have this ultra sweat pants dress code where everyone behind the register dresses down… waayyy down. It’s like Wayne’s world sweatpants and puffer jackets with gym shorts. Legit saw folks walking around in pajamas, quite a contrast from Japan. The toys area is very cute, and I like how the grocery store sets up sales areas like you’re in a literal traditional marketplace with festive stands. The only downer is the suburban area but that’s america for you.“

“Some of the BEST poke I've had in the Bay Area! Fresh and soft fish, HUGE portions, lots of free add-ins that would be costly elsewhere. I have a gluten allergy and the cashier was extremely helpful in helping me find options. Will be coming again and again!
Dietary restrictions: Sauces have gluten (soy sauce) but dressings do not“

“Inside of the food hall, there are three stalls. Capture for coffee, YaDaebak! for appetizer, breakfast, or entree, and Smochi for mochi donut. The black sesame latte was so good! We got the Egg & Bulgogi breakfast rice bowl from YaDaebak and for $9, portions were generous and delicious. For a person that has always been meh about mochi don't, got a new perspective and experience through their chocolate with white chocolate swirl. The staffs are really nice and if you don't know what to get, just ask. Love the cleanliness of the space, too.“
