“I love Saizon - I think it’s one of my top choices in Fresno to eat at for special occasions. I’ve been there many times and most recently it was for oysters and drinks. I think they have a really good menu. Their grilled oysters are to die for. I usually love the Truffle Mac and cheese, the chicken taquitos and the sirloin. The restaurant itself is beautiful - I personally love their patio that is always my first choice. Overall highly recommend!“

“Probably the best fast casual Mexican restaurant in Fresno, yes you can get a better from one of the many food trucks or small restaurants in the area but for the price and convenience the food is tasty and hard to beat especially from chains like Cafe Rio/Chipotle.

The big standout here is the party platter, it's by far the best quality compared to Bobby's/Sal's/Toledo's similar offerings. The taquitos are huge and full of tender meat, the chimichangas, and burritos are great. Everything is well seasoned. They even throw in so wings for a picky eater in your group.“

“The place looks more like a bar than a happy vibrant Mexican restaurant—very dark.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. They give free chips and salsa, which was great. The food itself didn’t have anything particularly special, and I wouldn’t say it has that authentic, rooted Mexican taste.

The server seemed a bit lost, but he was very attentive and clearly did his best.

I like that the owner is hands-on, but I did notice that she was handling food with her hair down, which I don’t think is appropriate from a food-safety standpoint“

“I had the enchiladas combo without the salad or tostada. The food wasn’t bad good. It didn’t amaze me but it was still good. The main complaint with the food was that it was bland. There was no spice. I used the salsa they provided with the chips, which was not even spicy but did help to add some flavor. The location of the restaurant is in a more wealthy part of the city. The clientele is mainly of a certain class background. When you put 2 and 2 together, it explains why the food is toned down. I’ve had better enchiladas at other place around town. Apart from the food, the atmosphere of the place is the best thing about it. The ambience feels cozy and looks appealing. The service is excellent. I really appreciated how friendly the staff is. Caitlin, the waitress, greeted me with a smile and welcomed me. That kind of service feels like it’s dying, but this place is keeping it alive. That is what I will say I liked the most about this place!“

“The best spot in town every time I visit I come here and grab my regular veggie bowl and the staff knows exactly how to make everything right without touching any meat . The manager here is excellent and deserves a raise for how the food is always fresh and taste good . The whole staff needs a raise . I would recommend this over chipotle any day.
