“Do you want a nice getaway to relax and have a nice dinner? This is the place. The food needed work. Meet felt as though it had traveled and was previously frozen. Just tougher than expected, on all different cuts. Even the shrimp was not just over cooked, but tough. The service was great, aside from the waiter constantly apologizing for being late. I asked why they didn't just get more servers, but there was no answer. That would be my suggestion. If you want the nice ambiance to work, make sure the service extends the feeling of comfort. So don't make the servers try to cover more tables than they can to accomodate more guests. You have the space, use it. The Harp was a wonderful touch. It fit the acoustics of the room perfectly, and the Harp rendition of "Sweet Child O Mine" worked very well. The manager did come by and gave us a dessert for the food issues. And that was greatly appreciated. Me personally? I would have comped at least one meal. But in a casino restaurant, I can see how you may not have full trust in your patrons. But I can also see how you would want them to come back again and again to continue operating. So spend a few dollars making people happy to make a lot. We don't even know if we will return, and we live within a mile of the Casino Restaurant.“

“The food here is DELICIOUS. All the fish dishes are cooked and seasoned well, especially the battered fish, salmon and fish & chips dishes. Even their sides, like the roasted Brussel sprouts, taste amazing! The prices are fair too.
I had first tried their food when a vendor catered to my workplace, and I just had to have it again with my family. Definitely my new favorite place for seafood.

Update from 10/13/2024: They changed the Brussel sprouts recipe. This last time I ordered them, they didn't have any of the sweet sauce on it, which was disappointing.
Vegetarian options: There are meat- and fish- free options, but they are limited to sides mostly.
Parking: Parking is difficult to find during weekends and peak hours on week days.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs and a diaper changing table (in women's restroom) are available.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp from the parking lot up to the sidewalk entrance to the restaurant.“

“It's a small place with smaller menu options. Ordered the short ribs, the rib soup, spicy squid dish, and tofu soup. If you want a lighter flavor of korean food, then this is a good place to go. It's not my favorite but it isn't bad either.
The short ribs was not too bad. It is light in flavors but it was still good. My favorite would be the tofu soup. The soup was well balanced and didn't have any weird taste. The kimchi was good.
I think it's called galbi tang, the Beef rib soup. It's pretty much a beef bone soup. It's not my favorite if I'm hungry but I would for sick days.
The least favorite would be the squid dish. Forgot what it's called but that one was a bit bland. It was too greasy for my liking and it's more of a veggie than a protein dish.
They do give reasonable portions.“

“I came to Oakhill for date night and it did not disappoint. I could have eaten just the focaccia bread and credo for dinner because they were amazing. I didn’t stop at appetizers though and continued to their ravioli which had a delightful lemon flavor. I will for sure eat here again and have zero complaints.“

“we made a order for a special dinner, we ordered a few dinner plates and appetizers. two of the dishes sides we requested were "vegetarian" however when we opened our order it was NOT vegetarian. we also ordered cheese wontons and they had crab in them when we commented on this the manager was INCREDIBLY RUDE and asked if the menu stated they were "vegetarian cheese wontons" like we didn't know what we were reading off the menu or as if he didn't know what exactly was stated on the menu.“

“My husband and I visited Ruth's Chris after being given a gift card for the establishment. We had never been before, and knew nothing except that the gift card probably wasn't going to cover our meal!
From the moment we walked through the door, we were met with excellent service and friendly staff. The ambiance was second to none, and the tables were crisply set for guests. Candles lit each table and we were led to a quiet booth.
Our server, Evan, was the epitome of grace and professionalism. His good humor, kind comments, and helpfulness got us through our ordering without any hitches. We both chose to have what is called "Ruth's Classics" which is a prix fix menu. We chose a salad, steak, (and shrimp for me; my spouse had lobster with his), with creamy spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. For dessert, we each had mini cheesecakes that were the perfect size and served with fresh berries.
The bleu cheese dressing on the salad was creamy and rich. The salad itself was crisp and chilled. It was a lovely way to start the meal.
Our steaks were perfect, and the buttery sauce was dreamy. My three shrimp were entwined atop the fillet mignon, and the sides were served in little tureens. We both enjoyed the meal to the max.
I felt indulged and appreciated as a guest at Ruth's Chris. The evening was perfect. I can't remember having a nicer meal than this one. Self-indulgence might be a virtue after all. And heck. I'm seventy years old so I deserve a fling now and then!“
