“As far as coffee shops go, this place is definitely on the right end of the spectrum. First of all, THANK YOU to whoever is responsible for selecting the music. With jazz playing at a very respectful volume, I was actually able to enjoy my experience without noise canceling headphones. The ambiance is wonderful, slightly old-timey with lots of owl-themed decor. The chai was delicious, but I wasn’t impressed by the iced banana bread latte, which was slightly bitter and a bit watery. The drinks are pretty pricey (I paid $16 for 2 smalls), but I can honestly overlook that because of the incredible customer service we received from the older gentleman at the register. There was also an employee with a mustache who I found was equally dedicated to excellent customer service—really appreciate this! Also, great corner location. Coffee shops like this are hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend!“

“Young kid at the counter today 09/06/2025 with exceptional customer service and enthusiasm. I live seeing our youth so involved in compassion and kindness. Ordered an oreo donut with cream filled heaven, a churro donute with caramel, and my grandson had an M&M cereal killer. So soft, not too sweet, and mouthwatering goodness. It was a 45 minute drive from our home, but I told him we will return. Highly recommend.“

“I rated this based on typical bar food. It’s better than most. Nachos are really good, hamburger also good. Fish and chips too. It’s not usually crowded. They have a pool table and darts. Tons of TVs but a nice assortment of sports. Last time we were there they had basketball but also golf and figure skating. And best of all, it’s not expensive compared to most places in the area.

Vegetarian options: Not a ton of options but there’s nachos, fish and chips (if you eat fish) and probably a few others.“

“The place hit the spot for our jjajangmyeon craving. We were a little iffy first because I am a 짜장면 snob and the place is a pocha restaurant but my gf and I really loved the food and the service. We got 깐풍새우 & 쟁반짜장. Sweet n spicy shrimp & jjajangmyeon platter. The shrimp was also god level good. We will be back to try different dishes and drinks! “The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

“Stopped by PlayCoffee and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Sudachi Matcha Tonic and a cold brew, and both drinks came out quickly.
The Sudachi Matcha Tonic was excellent. It was very matcha forward with a subtle citrus note. Not overly bright like a yuzu tonic, but just enough citrus to notice as you sip, allowing the matcha to remain the focus. The cold brew was also well done. Smooth, not bitter, and with plenty of body. Very easy to drink.
I also really liked how the space is laid out. They repurposed shipping containers in a thoughtful way, creating clearly separated seating areas. There is an outdoor section, an indoor section with bathrooms, and a main kitchen area where you order drinks and browse merchandise. The layout feels intentional and works well even when the shop is busy.
Looking back, we probably should have asked about the beans because the coffee was good enough that we would have happily picked up a bag or two to take home.
Quick service, well executed drinks, and a unique space make PlayCoffee a spot worth revisiting. I will definitely be back to try more from their menu.“

They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

“I got the Four Seasons (a white tea) milk tea, which I think is my new favorite tea base, with 75% sweetness, large boba, regular ice, and creme brûlée pudding (I thought I would get something I don’t often see as a topping). I am so happy with this drink! Service was fast and easy, I ordered on a kiosk and the drink was called out within 5 minutes! When I mixed in the pudding and boba, the drink was super sweet (which is what I wanted, but next time I should probably get 50% or 25% sweet or not get the creme brûlée pudding, to limit myself to a more reasonable sugar intake). The boba was perfectly chewy, on the softer side, which is what I prefer, with good flavor, and there was a generous amount. The creme brûlée made the milk tea taste like vanilla ice cream and caramel were mixed in. Soooo good. Thank you for a nice dessert stop! The shop is small but very cozy with a few seating options. Side note: I was happy to hear Now or Never from High School Musical 3 playing over the speakers when I walked in. It warmed my gen z heart.

After looking at other reviews, I also wanted to add: You can order using one of 2 kiosks, or with a cashier at the register. There is also a QR code for the menu, and a printed menu near the register. The employee called out our orders when they came out.“
