“We got the Manon Signature Tower (great sampler plate) and the Thai Tea Flight (great sampler plate) to start.

For our matin entrees, we got the Crispy Pork Belly Kaprao, Filet Mignon Cashew Nuts, and the Crispy Pork Chili & Sea Salt. This was also the order we enjoyed in. I recommend that if you get the Crispy Pork Chili & Sea Salt, ask for less salt. I like my food salty and savory, but the sea salt seemed to be too heavy this time around.“

“We were immediately greeted and seated. The server was super courteous and checked on us frequently. We ordered spring rolls which were amazing. We had veggie noodles and pad se ew tofu. The main entrees seemed to be deprived of salt and flavors. The tofu also tasted like paper since all the moisture had been taken out. The noodles were made properly and perfect.“

“Hidden gem in Orange, CA that is hard to forget. I came here with someone very special to me and it's safe to say, they loved it as much as I did. Our server, Uma greeted us upon entering with a warm smile and she was just so lovely throughout the course of our dinner. We ordered 1) Tom Kah (Coconut Soup), Medium Spicy 2) Fried Rice with Chicken, 3) Pad See Ew with Beef, Medium Spicy and their iconic 4)Mango Sticky Rice.

As I documented pictures of our meal throughout the night, clearly the Mango Sticky Rice dessert was so irresistible that when delivered to our table, we dove right in before photographing it. (Photos attached)

I would HIGHLY recommend the Coconut Soup as it is my absolute favorite item from this location. And their Pad See Ew is the best Pad See Ew I have ever had.

Lastly, the fried rice with chicken was made to perfection and so much so that my date and I deduced that their secret ingredient must be love.

The owners truly care about their guest experience and I can't stress that enough.

If you have the opportunity to dine in, please do so. But if you're unable to dine in, I can reassure you that once you try their dishes, you'll never forget them.“

Occupying the former location of Hanako, we've dined at the second previous tenant of this address, prior to Hanako. I've been meaning to come by Pudtarn Thai Cuisine because I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and Lunch Specials are an affordable option. This day seemed just the moment to try another local Thai restaurant for takeout.

Lunch Special Pad Thai-
Choice of protein (beef + $1, shrimp + $2), with rice, salad & egg roll. Oh, how have I missed pad Thai. Pudtarn's version hit the spot for my Thai food fix. Had the perfect amount of sour to sweet. Portions were generous, too.

Chicken satay-
Five tender, succulent sticks of chicken, served with creamy peanut sauce. Great accompaniment to the noodles, the pieces of chicken were delicious, especially when smothered in the sauce.

Service was good. A good amount of seating inside, the wait for takeout wasn't too long, since I was the first customer of the day. Parking can be somewhat difficult to come by, as some spaces are designated for the business in front of them. Hard to find on it's own, Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is located west of the car wash on the corner of Bloomfield & Centralia.

Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is a solid Thai eatery, and I'm definitely looking forward to visiting, again, in the near future. Their lunch specials are affordable, and provide an ample amount of food. Pudtarn Thai Cuisine has earned their spot in my food rotation list.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“As someone who is particular about Thai food, Thai Seven in Downtown Brea genuinely impressed me. This is one of those hidden gems where you can immediately tell there is real attention being paid to the kitchen.

The first thing that stood out was the aroma—the unmistakable fragrance of a properly fired wok, with that smoky depth that gives Thai cooking so much character. The Spaghetti Kee Mao was exceptional: aromatic, savory, beautifully seasoned, and full of wok-fired flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce. I had them add chicken and a fried egg to my order. It tasted so fresh! Its probably the freshest Drunken noodles I've ever had in my entire life. “Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.

I also got a Thai iced coffee with milk and it is wow! It’s very strong, so fair warning, but also very good! It’s not super sweet or bitter - it’s the perfect in-between.
