“Pho 45 in Garden Grove is a bright, busy, and very clean spot with a friendly vibe. We ordered the phở tái chín và viên and the phở tái nạm gân. The portions were generous and well balanced, with fresh herbs and noodles. The broth was light and I personally wished for a bit more spice aroma, but it was still one of the better pho experiences I have had.

The service truly stood out. For a small mom and pop restaurant, it was the best I have seen. The owner watches every detail and the staff is very attentive. I had a stroller with me and before I even reached the table they cleared a chair so I could park it easily. Our food also came out super fast.

The space is simple with white textured walls and is very family friendly. Service is a 10, food is a 9. I would definitely return“

“The pizza overall is decent, I've had better, but the crust is pretty great. They have creative pizzas like an Indian curry style pizza and a spicy Thai style pizza. The Indian curry pizza was decent, but I would have preferred more sauce and toppings. This time I got the Meat Lovers pizza and largely felt the same about it. Tucked away in a modest shopping center that also boasts a superb shawarma joint, this place is a hidden treasure. The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. “I always get the combo over rice with white sauce. The meat is always consistent and I enjoy the food very much. The restaurant is clean and the employees are great. Good service overall at the Garden Grove location.

“A hidden gem that is actually well hidden! My wife and I stopped by OniGuru and each tried four different Onigiri flavors. The flavors were fun, delicious, and filled us up! Luckily, we arrived on Labor Day, so the line was non-existent, thus it took under five minutes for our food to arrive.

This place is a modest sized booth inside a shared common area meant for gatherings and business events. Definitely don’t be intimidated by the parking nor the view from Google Maps.

“This is my new favorite spot! Dropped by after Disneyland they have 2 pool tables and pool was even free til 5 so we got 2 games in free. Drinks were reasonably priced and food was just unreal. Can't wait to come back again next time we're in town.“

“Since I returned from a trip to central Vietnam 4 years ago I’ve been chasing down a bowl of authentic cao lau. Living in San Francisco and Portland I can hardly get my hands on cao lau, so little Saigon has been a destination for me. This was my first and only required stop when I finally visited the area and it did not disappoint! The Cao Lao noodles were perfectly square and chewy, the broth herby and flavorful. The pea greens were also delicious. The lovely man who works and runs this with his wife was so friendly. I’ll be back!“

“I really love it here. Even when busy the people are so helpful and patient. The drinks I’ve gotten so far have all been delicious and delicately crafted! My favorite is the dirty matcha! It’s a whole experience. The vibes inside are so freaking cute and dainty. Very Vietnamese feeling with the low chairs and tables, gives it some culture and makes it feel homey. “I come here a couple times a week and I’m not even close to be a vegetarian. The food is great. I have noodle soups sometimes and the rice plates other times, and the take out options are great and ready to go. The seating and atmosphere are more like a typical Vietnamese restaurant, not fancy high end dining, but that makes it a great fit for the daily meals or a simple gathering. After my first visit I’ve been back here a couple times every week.“

“This is the best Mexican food I've ever had! Arturo is a friendly, welcoming, and amazing chef. I had chilaquiles with chicken and a taco de lengua. Every ingredient was delicious and the portions were generous. The chicken was juicy and tender. The sauce was delicious. And the taco de lengua were the best I've ever had. This is my new favorite restaurant.“

“I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.

I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.

Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!
