“I seen the review on this place and decided to travel longer to go to it. I am happy I did. Wasent expecting a bright purple building. But I love the color purple. It was slow in there at 1130am. But they just opened we was seated quickly. I didnt care for the soup and salad. But the chicken was amazing with the tempora veggies was great too. Would have cooked them a tiny bit more. “I went to Annie's for the first time today and ordered the Mexicali sandwich and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sandwich had just the right amount of spiciness to it with the chipotle sauce and jalapenos. The fries were amazing and crispy too. Everyone that works there was very attentive and super friendly. I live right around the corner and I will definitely be back to try the breakfast and mimosas. I told my husband it was a 10 out of 10.“

“This winery is one of the best! We visited for a wine tasting and the gentleman was so informative about the wines and how they are harvested, we couldn’t get enough of his knowledge! The wines, all six, that we selected on our own were excellent! We will probably join the club when we get home! Also, there is a picnic area that you can purchase a charcuterie board or cheese and crackers, spreads and dips to sit down and enjoy with your bottle of wine! It’s fantastic!“

“Food: we’ve had the pizza and beer here and very happy with both. I like New York style pizza, and this is satisfying that desire.

Location: conveniently Located. Inside there are several booths and tables available. Outside, there are several picnic tables, Bar style seating with beautiful views of the river, three large tables for large groups.

Service: very friendly staff.

Only negative has been that twice We’ve had to wait for our order when we arrived at the restaurant even though we ordered online half an hour beforehand and showed up at the promised time according to the app. All we ask is please keep the promise time accurate, and we’re fine!“

“This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.“

“Every meal is great. They make great burritos, tacos, chili verde, rice and beans. They are my go to for taco Tuesdays. We sometimes go more than once a week. lol. Great value too.“

Would recommend the salmon over Mary's chicken. Server was kind and gracious. Ordering as you enter, from a chalkboard is a little different. “Taphouse is one of those super underrated gems of placerville! Although I worked there, the main reason I actually applied for a job was because of the great food, and amazing atmosphere. As a former employee, it’s still one of my absolute favorites to visit.“

Great food, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the strawberry Panna cotta with chocolate mousse for dessert. Great personal service from the owner!! Very friendly.
